" Lenin said it best: "The goal of Socialism is Communism." So next time a Socialist asks you to 'define socialism', just refer them to what Lenin said himself."

" “I know of no one who can match the wisdom born of experience that Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn (Russian, 1918 –2008) brings to the topic of socialism. He wrote:” * "In different places over the years I have had to prove that socialism, which to many western thinkers is a sort of kingdom of justice, was in fact full of coercion, of bureaucratic greed and corruption and avarice, and consistent within itself that socialism cannot be implemented without the aid of coercion. Communist propaganda would sometimes include statements such as "we include almost all the commandments of the Gospel in our ideology... The difference is that the Gospel asks all this to be achieved through love, through self-limitation, but socialism only uses coercion." ~ Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn (Russian, 1918 –2008), Soviet dissident and prisoner, author of "The Gulag Archipelago."

"NONCITIZENS caught registered to vote in NJ went from 6,600 to 35,152, but now the software vendor has come out and stated that it was NOT a "glitch" and that the state of NJ APPROVES noncitizens who register to vote. AAG Harmeet Dhillon has stated that investigations are under way and that any state that is allowing noncitizens to be registered to vote will face charges."
It happens!

" Third world countries are poor because of their flavor of socialism, Third Worldism. In 1955 newly independent countries met in Bandung and decided to reject Western capitalism, unite as the Third World, and chart their own SOCIALIST path to development. Ghana’s Kwame Nkrumah pushed it hardest with high tariffs, nationalized industry, and policies designed to discourage exports. South Korea made the opposite bet and went all-in on export driven markets. In 1970 the two countries sat at nearly identical incomes of $260 versus $250 per person. 50 years later, South Korea hit $32,000 while Ghana is still stuck at $1,786. 50 years later, Third World countries are still blaming the West and colonialism for their absolute failure to build anything."

"All societies enebtitably fail usually over millenia but communism fails spectacularly over a mere generations while starving it's citizens/victims. Soviet Union and its republics Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) (1922–1991): The foundational and largest example. Dissolved after economic stagnation, the failures of perestroika, and nationalist pressures. Broke into 15 independent states (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, the three Baltic states, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan). Eastern Europe (Eastern Bloc / Warsaw Pact satellites) These collapsed in the Revolutions of 1989–1991: Polish People’s Republic (1947/1948–1989) German Democratic Republic (East Germany) (1949–1990) reunified with West Germany Czechoslovak Socialist Republic (1948–1989/1990) later split into Czech Republic and Slovakia Hungarian People’s Republic (1949–1989) Socialist Republic of Romania (1947–1989) People’s Republic of Bulgaria (1946–1990) People’s Socialist Republic of Albania (1946–1991) Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (1945–1992) non-Soviet aligned but communist-led; disintegrated amid ethnic wars into Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, etc. Asia Mongolian People’s Republic (1924–1990/1992) Democratic Republic of Afghanistan (1978–1992) Soviet-backed; collapsed after Soviet withdrawal Democratic Kampuchea / Khmer Rouge Cambodia (1975–1979) and the subsequent People’s Republic of Kampuchea (Vietnamese-backed until early 1990s) extreme variant that killed roughly 1.5–2 million people People’s Democratic Republic of Yemen (South Yemen) (1967/1970–1990) reunified with North Yemen Africa People’s Republic of Angola (1975–1992) People’s Republic of Mozambique (1975–1990) People’s Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville) (1969–1992) People’s Republic of Benin (1975–1990) Derg / People’s Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (1974–1991) Somali Democratic Republic (1969–1991) Burkina Faso under Thomas Sankara (1983–1987) shorter, more explicitly socialist experiment. Other short-lived cases Grenada (People’s Revolutionary Government, 1979–1983) ended by U.S. intervention Various brief or partial experiments (e.g., parts of Nicaragua under the Sandinistas had strong Marxist influence but were not fully consolidated one-party communist states in the same way)"

"My favorite lesson in the stupidity of political correctness on speech. "Retarded" was the politically correct replacement for "idiot," "Imbecile," and "moron," all of which we say casually all the time now. Then "retarded" became un-PC, too."
Good roundup.
ReplyDeleteThe listing of failed socialist/communist states is ironic in contrast to how with the elevation of morons like Mandami, AOC, Sanders and others, it's crystal clear how many stupid people are able to vote in our country.
Then, at the end, to speak of the various terms used to describe what in truth are alternatives for the same intellectual disabilities, each one of them, including "retarded", have been applied to those who aren't technically among that unfortunate population, and thus should know better than to act and choose the way they do. But dishonestly, so many will exploit a situation where, say, a Dan Trabue is called "retarded" to accuse he who so labeled Dan to be oppressive to the unfortunately disabled rather than to defend that which was so stupid and thus provoked the use of the term.
So once again, as someone who has throughout my life been exposed to the severely retarded (adult with the mind of a five year old), cousins, daughter, friends and acquaintances with Down Syndrome children, I know the difference between the truly intellectually challenged and assholes like Dan who act stupidly. There's a difference between teasing or harassing a truly disabled person because of their disability versus pointing out that a position, action or expression perpetrated by someone like Dan is so bad that one would wonder about the mental capability of the person who presented the position. action or expression if one did not know who actually was responsible. The true sin of calling Dan a retard is associating Dan with better people who happen to be intellectually challenged. They can't be held responsible. Dan has no excuse.
Sorry for the rant. I take this shit personally.
Thanks, there’s plenty of material to work with.
DeleteThe semantic games around this subject are simply stupid.
