No one is complaining about your decision to close/hide your defunct blog. It's more about noting the fact that you are a parasite, you need other people's blogs to spout your faux wisdom. The fact that what I saw of your blog was more about personal attacks and vitriol than anything else, makes me wonder why you thought anyone would actually read or interact with it.
As with so many things, you are seemingly unaware of fact that your behavior affects how others interact with you.
Why yes, the best way to engage in mature reasonable conversation is to start by pronouncing the person you're trying to convince as "brutal". What an excellent strategy. I'm amazed that people don't flock to the little slice of Hell that your blog represents. Just as a general rule, condescension, vitriol, and ad hom attacks aren't usually effective ways to engage in rational conversation.

Actually, when I tried to engage there, he deleted every comment I posted, even though they were all totally on-topic. In the meantime, he posts more off-topic than on-topic comments at my blog...because I have been honorable enough to allow him to post at all. And as the old adage goes, no good deed goes unpunished.
The one time I tried to comment there, I decided that it wasn't worth it. I see no reason to enable his shtick of lies, vitriol, and condescension.
