One of the central tenets of any form of self defense is to keep doing whatever you are doing to stop someone, until they stop. Whether that's shooting, stabbing, punching, whatever. The reality is that Enoe is the only one who knows for sure.
My bigger problem is that they've charged him with murder, not manslaughter.
Yeah, and likely even manslaughter is over the top. I'm tired of the protection of criminals and lamentations for the consequences their criminal actions invited upon themselves.
I agree that even manslaughter is probably excessive, but murder is clearly intended to send a message to certain groups. It's obvious that the deceased brought this on himself and bears most if not all of the responsibility. Hopefully the jury will do the right thing.
This guy is exactly the type of immigrant that the US wants and needs.
