Says yet another candy-assed old white man speaking from a place of privilege and protection.
This defense of racism is tiresome coming from old white men. At least when you go to the effort to find that tiny minority of black conservatives, they are speaking from a place that isn't coming from white privilege.
Hint: You'll sound less like a racist or a defender of racism if you quit quoting privileged white men about what "the blacks" and other oppressed people should be thinking and saying.
Repent.
I have no problem expressing what I believe everybody "should" be thinking and saying. Unlike Dan, however, race has nothing to do with it as what I believe everyone should think and say benefits everyone regardless of race. People like Dan seem to believe that concepts of right & wrong are different according to one's race. That's why he insists we talk to black people.
But what Dan requires in order to be correct is that we speak to black people who think like him. What's right & wrong, good & evil, wealth producing or poverty producing...what's fact & fiction...none of these things are race dependent.
