Shocking

When I see video of a black person attacking a white Trump supporter, I guess it means there’s about a 90% chance the attacker is a democrat.

There's a wacky Democrat on my Facebook friend list who had the audacity to post an article alleging a Trump supporter attacked an elderly couple who supports Biden. This proves Trump supporters are violent. One solitary attack by an alleged Trump supporter. The source is one of his favored lefty sources, and I haven't taken the time to dig into it. I just mocked him for suggesting it was emblematic of Trump supporters in light of the frequency of Trump supporters being attacked simply for wearing a hat. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that politics had nothing to do with it.

It’s shocking that the pro Trump rally with thousands of people was peaceful until the leftists showed up. But it’s still Trump’s fault.

That's pretty much how it went down in Charlottesville, too. Even with actual racists among those defending the statue, it was peaceful until the leftist fascist Antifa showed up.

It's a shock that the left is driving so much of the recent violence. What's been interesting is that despite the reality that BLM, ANTIFA, and whatever others have flocked to their banners, are portrayed as either not violent, or not leftist. It's almost like some on the left think that by putting their heads in the sand, they'll be able to avoid this reality.

From now on, I'll be referring to these folx as Utopian Leftists or ULs. They cling to an idealized, utopian, fantasy version of the political left and treat that fantasy as if it's reality despite the growing evidence to the contrary.

Art,

Is someone else's "reality" really reality in any meaningful sense if it doesn't correspond to actual reality?

Apparently, it's all about perception informed by personal preference. The rest of us saps think facts and evidence dictate. As such, if some prefer to insist rampant violence by BLM/Antifa is rare or isolated incidents, the fact we almost never hear of actually peaceful protests ending peacefully as well is a fact of no relevance. If some prefer to ignore criminal behavior, then deaths during police confrontations are innocent victims of white supremacy.
