It's an interesting commentary on their priorities that one of the first things they did was steal the materials to build a wall. It's almost like they believe walls are effective and valuable.
As I saw their please for food, water, and supplies, I couldn't help but wonder if they actually know what the word "autonomous" means.
One wonders if their autonomy extends to commandeering the plumbing of others, or if they'll follow the lead of San Francisco and just leave fill the streets with excrement. At some point, I suspect that it will get so bad that they'll move the autonomous district to somewhere not covered in crap, or open the wall long enough to let people clean up their mess.

Imagine having spent your life building a home and/or business in a place you thought would be good to make that life, only to find that those to whom you pay taxes don't care enough about you to defend you against assholes like those who appropriated what doesn't belong to them. Imagine being such a person who voted for those people who now do nothing to defend you against these losers. Would you not be stupid?
There’s all sorts of those types of people here in MPLS. Years of work, sacrifices to come up with money, and the Mayor lets it all get destroyed over a couple of days. Thank God for the generous people who jumped in, cleaned up and raised money.
“Seattle Protesters Abolish Police, Replace With Squads Of Armed Individuals Tasked With Enforcing Set Of Agreed-Upon Rules”
...sort of like police.
I these folks are interested in giving back the property that belongs to others, and actually starting an autonomous zone I’m behind them 100%.
If they want to head out and find some land, build a settlement, grow their own food, and sever ties with everything they are protesting, I saw “Good on ya!”.
But alas, their iPhones won’t work and they won’t be able to get WiFi so they can IG about how awesome they are in their autonomy.
