This bullshit false equivalency between St Floyd and Charlie Kirk is gaslighting on an EPIC scale.  It's absolutely insane.

Lemon claims to be a journalist, he's clearly not.

Rahm is making a bit of sense here.

Yeah, because thoughts and words are absolutely worse than actual sexual assault.

Please, oh pretty please, give us the Canadian health care system.

The rush to the lowest common denominator continues.  By all means. let's do everything possible to keep POC children from gifted and talented programs.

Definitely a conservative problem.  If this guy gets elected, the DFL is officially endorsing assassination.

A red poster featuring Mitt Romney, depicted with a mustache, wearing a brown suit and red tie. The text on the poster reads "ADOLF ROMNEY VOTE FOR 2012" in bold white and black letters. A QR code is visible at the bottom.

Romney was one of the most bland and unoffensive GOP candidates for president in the last 75 years, and this is how the DFL treats him?   They aren't even original in their slander.

---Absolutely. It's moronic and purposefully dishonest to try and draw a parallel between Charlie Kirk and a total thug.

---He claims to be a man. He's clearly not. He's not mature enough for that. By the time I actually first gave this guy the time of day, he had already outed himself as a buffoon, and it was because people were discussing just how much of a buffoon he was that prompted my interest in seeing who he was.

---Emmanuel was no prize at all as Chicago mayor, but I don't think he's another lefty buffoon. He knows what he's doing with these kinds of pronouncements, and that's to push the party and himself in the minds of the average citizen. He's a snake.

---I don't get where the sexual assault comes in. Looks just like a catfight to me. Could you clarify?

---Wow! How can even a gov't run system be this bad? DEI hires?

---OOPS! Same post as the above.

---But he's a black Democrat dude, so it's OK.

---The entirety of the GOP are clearly nazi stormtrooopers. Don't know exactly what they've done to constantly qualify for the Hitler designation, but I'm sure it must be super secret.

The only similarity is that both have been someone to rally around. But to compare them beyond that is simply an attempt to smear Kirk.

Yeah, Lemon is a joke at this point.

I agree that Emmanuel is definitely clever and has some ability to shape issues and move the needle.

The sexual assault comes in with the fact that some how calling someone a name is worse than actual assault/battery. Sexual or otherwise.

The problem is that a government run health care service can't tax enough to fulfill the promises made. Therefore they have to resort to increasingly extreme measures to fund the thing. In this case, it does make a sort of sense. If you're euthanizing people for minor issues and they have healthy organs, why not profit in two ways. (Save money on care, and sell the organs)

Fixed. Mamdani wants to axe G&T programs even though it will hurt G&T POC kids harder.

Yeah, the same old NAZI trope. It's kind of like the constant genocide claims about Israel. Both Israel and the GOP are allegedly doing these horrible things, but they are clearly horrible at them because they never succeed.

Regarding the axing of G&T programs. That's absurd. Kids develop and learn at different rates. The gifted should not be held back from learning at the rate appropriate for them. The earlier kids are accommodated education-wise, the more equipped they'll be later. Some kids need a slower pace and other can move at light speed.

My daughter was held back from the most advanced math class when she was in middle school. She missed the cut by a tiny percentage point and all the girls who were then a part of her circle were placed in that more advanced class. But my daughter ended up thriving and her grades were always among the highest of her peers. Would she have kept up in the advanced class? Probably. Would she have held back the girls who tested higher to get into that class? Possibly. But the point is that she ended up learning at the level deemed most appropriate based on her track record and she thrived. In college, she was Dean's list every quarter for all four years and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Absolutely. Kids are different and to the degree possible those differences should be integrated into their education. The problem with this is that by not challenging these kids, you actually harm their development because they get bored. For some kids, the resources exist to get what they need outside of school. For those that don't this would seem to be an instance of harming the best and brightest of urban youth. What a waste.

One of my nieces crushed remote learning because she just plowed through it at her own pace and got done in no time. It allowed her to get a job because she was available more than other kids her age.
