Y'all might remember the poorly covered news story (at least by the MSM) about the DFL candidate for Lt Governor in VA who was texting about killing his political opponent and his opponent's children. Well he's still running, and 93% of VA DFL voters had absolutely zero problem with his violent hate speech. Fast forward, the GOP candidate for governor called out her DFL opponent on this and asked her is she'd condemn the violent hate speech, and the DFL candidate would not. Now we have a story (which has gotten much more coverage) about some "young republican" types who said some bad things in a group text (probably joking). SO the VA DFL decided the they would play gotcha on the GOP candidate for governor by demanding that she do what her opponent would not do. Of course the GOP candidate quickly and directly called their bluff, and turned it right back on the DFL. Hypocrites.
Oh yeah, the GOP candidate is a black woman. I thought that the DFL wanted more black women in elected office.

Will the paid, marxist "No Kings" protesters be able to contain themselves? Unless some Dem with influence over them sees this article or is sharp enough to read the room (in this case, the nation), I doubt it. But is there any such Dem at this point? Are the paid protesters backed by the Dem party, or someone more nefarious?
The existence of these "No Kings" rallies actually proves them wrong. If Trump was the "king" they claim, he'd simply prevent the rallies.
I'll post the picture later but here are the rules for the rallies.
Lead with love, not anger.
Smile and greet others.
Lift your voice with positivity.
Make your sign speak peace.
Model nonviolence in every action.
Look out for one another.
Celebrate families and kids. (How much of the content of these rallies will be kid friendly?)
Keep it clean and respectful
Be mindful of words and tone.
Carry joy beyond the rally (because these people are known for joy, right?)
