Yes, of course, there are - out of MILLIONS of immigrants - no doubt a few dozen cases of bad apples. And you know who ELSE abuses, oppresses and causes harm? All kinds of white conservative men and their allies.
So clearly, the answer is to blame ALL white men and put them ALL in jail.
By your reasoning, or lack thereof.
This is a logical fallacy, son and nothing more than twisting of facts and slander. Be better.
I think you meant to say tens of millions of illegal aliens and thousands who’ve committed crimes.
If we were to apply the data that we’ve seen about criminality of late, to the illegal alien population, we would find that it is very likely that a very small percentage of illegal aliens commit 75 to 80% of all crimes committed by illegal aliens. If we include crossing the border illegally, obviously that goes up to 100%, but for the sake of this conversation, let’s leave that aside for now. I could be wrong, but it seems to me that if we could easily find and deport the small percentage of the illegal aliens that commit the vast majority of violent crimes, that we would reduce the harm to the victims of their crime and reduce the harm to the illegal aliens who are not criminals. That seems like a win-win to me. But what you and you were elk support is local law-enforcement, refusing to turn over actual violent criminals to be deported. So it’s not a stretch to say that you and those of your elk, have some degree of blood on your hands.
I appreciate the work you’ve gone to to Make up an entirely fictitious version of my position, and act as if your fiction is reality.
As I noted, a very small percentage of the entire population commits 75 to 80% of all crime. I absolutely support removing that small percentage of the population from society, and potentially reducing crime by 75 to 80%. Race or ethnicity does not play a role. The only reason it’s part of this discussion is people like you who are actively trying to prevent illegal alien, criminals from being deported, and supporting policies and politicians that make it more difficult to deport these criminals than it needs to be.
If there’s a logical fallacy in this discussion, it is yours in insisting that every single illegal alien who has crossed the border illegally is really a refugee. And your further insistence that all of these people are “good”.
Again, I appreciate your commitment to the bit, and To misrepresenting me so egregiously. Further, I appreciate your commitment to Painting a false narrative about what’s going on in Minneapolis, and ignoring the overwhelming evidence that the DFL advocated for the same policies using the same laws That are being used today. The only difference between now and then is that about nine counties and or cities have decided that they aren’t gonna play by the old rules. Whether you admitted or not, whether it’s intentional or not, you and your elk are keeping people like these fine helpers on the streets and in the country.
You continue to claim that you are decent and moral, so please provide me the decent and moral reason for Not honoring the federal detainers, and turning these violent predators over to ice in the safety of a jail. Explain to me, how it is decent and moral to force ice agents to track these people down among the public, when they could have been transferred in a controlled, secure, jail environment.
Craig read and failed to understand...
The only reason it’s part of this discussion is people like you who are actively trying to prevent illegal alien, criminals from being deported
I'm not/we aren't trying to prevent actual criminals from being deported.
refusing to turn over actual violent criminals to be deported.
I'm not/we aren't trying to prevent actual violent criminals from being deported.
Understand?
How else can I explain it so you'll understand it?
I'm not/we aren't trying to prevent actual criminals from being deported.
We have ALWAYS supported holding VIOLENT CRIMINALS - immigrant or white Anglo citizens- accountable. We have never objected to holding actual criminals accountable and deporting THEM, if that's what the law calls for.
What we objectively to is the sweeping charges about ALL or most undocumented immigrant, OR even just legal immigrants... sweeping up all of them in warrantless arrests, threats, terrorism, home invasions even when they weren't proven to be violent criminals, which The Felon started doing almost immediately last year and has only ramped up since then.
THAT is why good and decent residents of this nation and around the globe are protesting. The kidnappings, the beatings, the abuses, the abuse of children as bait and the violence and killings of people legally protesting.
Understand now?
IF ONLY the pervert criminal had done what he said he was going after, the violent criminals, there would be no protests.
Also, if only maga cultists were as seriously opposed to criminals when it came to their Dear Leader, we wouldn't be here.
You can't behave in authoritarian ways and not expect pushback by rational moral people.
You and people you align politically are driving the policy decisions that directly result in illegal aliens being released onto the streets despite engaging in serious, violent crimes. I could be generous and guess that you might consider it an unintended consequence, but at this point that ship has sailed.
It’s blue cities, blue counties, blue states that have made intentional policy decisions that are driving what you whine about. It takes 2 ICE agents to take an illegal alien criminal into custody at a jail. It takes 16 to find the same person after they’ve been released to the street.
I’m not wasting time with your lies. If that crap was happening my many left wing friends would be documenting it, but they’re not.
I’ll post later, but look at what happened in MPLS today with huge amounts of random property damage, and significant arrests along with LA.
You have thus rose colored, Pollyanna, romantic fantasy about what these “protests” should be, while ignoring what they really are. Combining that with your automatic belief that every negative thing about Trump must be True just shows how out of touch you are.
ICE does not need a judicial warrant signed by a judge to arrest illegal alien invaders, as they have statutory authority under the Immigration and Nationality Act to act on reasonable suspicion. They can make arrests in public spaces, during vehicle stops or through consensual encounters without a court-issued warrant.
ICE often uses "administrative warrants" which are signed by immigration supervisors, which authorizes detentions. These do not give them authority to enter homes without consent, but they are sometimes used to persuade people to let them in, which would likely be deemed in court as consent. This is similar to various methods cops use when stopping citizens to acquire consent to search the citizen's car. The tactics are generally upheld in courts as lawful, and it's likely the case with ICE as well. And given how ICE is always dealing with someone who has no legal right to be in our country, I'd suspect they're unlikely to be ruled as unlawful.
While Trump and ICE speaks of going for the worst first, they never meant they would not also detain and deport those people like Dan would insist are just hapless foreigners seeking a better life. But given that these protests are absolutely interfering with the arrest of the worst, Dan's full of feo to pretend "decent moral progressives" wouldn't be pitching a fit regardless of whether or not every alien detained was a monster.
If only Dan the pervert fake Christian was an actual Christian devoted to honesty, he wouldn't post stupid comments like he has above. However, it is funny he pretends these "protesting" miscreants and others like him are "rational moral people" or "decent moral progressives".
They need a judicial warrant to enter people’s homes, other than that an admin warrant is plenty. Obviously they can arrest people in the process of committing a crime. The judicial warrant thing is just to slow things down.
Start with the worst and go from there. Unfortunately the ASPL started protesting and interfering while they are working through the worst and are actually helping criminals avoid capture. It may be somewhat unintentional, but that’s because they are stupid. If they’d have supported this phase and waited to protest when those being deported were more sympathetic, they’d get more traction. Now it’s just Dan contradicting reality.
It's vital to understand history.
Who authoritarians are and what they do:
WHO THEY ARE:
"The Authoritarian Personality
refers to a set of personality traits and social attitudes characterized by rigid adherence to convention, uncritical submission to authority, and hostility toward those who defy societal norms.
First conceptualized in the aftermath of World War II, this personality profile was proposed to explain how ordinary people could embrace fascist and anti-democratic ideologies.
Individuals with a high “authoritarian” score tend to be
highly conformist,
deferential to established authority, and
punitive toward out-groups
who are seen as deviating from traditional values."
https://allaboutpsychology.substack.com/.../the...
Sound familiar?
WHAT AUTHORITARIANS DO:
1. Attacks on Journalism and Information
Authoritarians seek to make the public doubt objective truth, enabling them to control the narrative.
2. Attacks on Outsiders (Scapegoating & Xenophobia)
To consolidate power, authoritarian leaders often define themselves against an "other" to unite their base.
3. Undermining Trust in Institutions & Journalism
By breaking down trust in independent, non-partisan institutions, the leader becomes the only trusted authority.
4. Secret Police & Violent Repression Tactics
The use of surveillance and intimidation ensures that opposition remains fragmented and afraid.
[THIS IS WHERE WE ARE, NOW, having already passed the first three stages, fyi.]
Or, there's this list:
Authoritarian leaders often follow a predictable, step-by-step process:
Politicize independent institutions.
Spread disinformation.
Aggrandize executive power.
Quash dissent.
Scapegoat vulnerable communities.
Corrupt elections.
Stoke violence.
Pay attention to history, friends. And even moreso, those who no longer consider me a friend because I disagree with your opinions too often, pay attention to history. LOOK at what's happening.
Finally, casting this in another light: THIS administration is establishing the above list of norms... things that this administration is getting away with because his followers are going along with it. Presumably, to get "our" country "back" again. BUT THINK IT THROUGH:
IF these are the new norms of presidential power, will you want the Democrat who steps into office next to live down to these same norms?
IF you establish it for someone you support for some reason, will you be glad when a Democrat plays the same way?
Of course, not. (and fortunately, the moderates and progressives wouldn't put up with it.) But, to get all Jesusy/Golden Rule-ish on us, if you DON'T want your political Others to behave that way towards you, perhaps you ought not behave that way towards the rest of the nation.
Speaking of abuses of power by a secret police state action, here's what one judge responsible for saving young Liam Conejo Ramos and his father, Adrian, from their abduction, terrorism and abuse by ICE...
In a scathing opinion, which at times read more like a civics lesson, US District Judge Fred Biery admonished
“the government’s ignorance of an American historical document
called the Declaration of Independence”
and quoted Thomas Jefferson’s grievances
against “a would-be authoritarian king,”
saying today people “are hearing echos of that history.”..
Liam’s case, Biery wrote, originated in
“the ill-conceived and incompetently-implemented
government pursuit of daily deportation quotas,
apparently even if it requires traumatizing children.”
“Observing human behavior confirms that for some among us,
the perfidious lust for unbridled power and
the imposition of cruelty in its quest know no bounds and
are bereft of human decency,”
https://kesq.com/news/national-world/cnn-national/2026/02/01/5-year-old-liam-ramos-and-father-are-back-in-minneapolis-after-being-released-from-federal-custody-in-texas/
IF it turns out (as appears to be the case) that Mr Ramos was NOT guilty of any crimes, certainly wasn't a violent criminal and WAS following immigration rules appropriately, will you admit that this attack on this innocent family was a gross miscarriage of justice and the abusers/terrorists responsible should be held accountable?
Or do you only want to punish people when they're not conservative and they have an accent? You're promoting this assault on freedom in the name of crimes and bad behavior, IF it was the ICE that was criminal, will you support THEIR arrest?
IF, and that a huge question, this does turn out to be a situation where Ramos "did nothing wrong" I'll gladly acknowledge that there was a mistake made and that Ramos should explore every possible legal remedy open to him. I, unlike you, am not going to make definitive decisions with incomplete evidence.
Also, unlike you, I don't expect perfection from law enforcement.

In addition to the incidents you mentioned (and you left out the peaceful protesters stealing the gun safe from a federal LE vehicle), and damage to several other hotels. Yesterday we had over 60 cars damaged, as well as extensive damage to a federal building in LA.
It's amazing to see you making excuses for "non violent protesters" engaging in violent and destructive actions. It was amazing when you did it around the multiple BLM riots/CHAZ/CHOP, and it's amazing now. You literally can't simply condemn the violence.
If "errors" happened, then there are multiple legal avenues for redress of those "errors" and I completely support those avenues being used if appropriate. Although I'm not going to jump to conclusions before the legal process plays out.
Unfortunately, your Feb 1 at 3:12 which prompted this comment, was aborted due to your inability to follow a few simple rules.
You don't get it at all, do you?
You have ONLY made excuses for actual killings (in Venezuela, in the US, etc), for beatings, false arrests, slander, attacks of all sorts on often entirely innocent people... and you're waiting for me to condemn someone doing harm to someone's CAR? Hell, you haven't condemned ICE's breaking down doors and breaking out cars yet.
Lead the way on the more serious crimes/assaults on human rights and then let's talk about condemning vandalism and toilet papering and throwing snowballs.
First, remove the log from your eye, son.
For what it's worth, I don't think vandalism - even response to beatings and killings and abductions - is a great solution/approach to dealing with the human rights violations, but, truly, it's a chasm of difference between the two levels of "harm..." AND the harm to those poor cars (if it has actually happened) is a RESULT of the human rights abuses of ICE.
Oh, I get it. I get your hypocrisy and double standards all too well.
What I don't get is how you think undocumented false accusations and lies somehow demonstrate your superior morality or make your point. Nor do I get how you can ignore violence from the left, and ignore the fact that ICE is reacting to the situation brought on by (among other things) the refusal of local LE to work with ICE to apprehend illegal alien criminals.
I don't expect you to say single damn word of condemnation for liberals who engage in violence or destruction of property. It'd be nice if you'd at least admit that those on the left have made violence, rioting, and destruction of billions in property a regular occurrence.
Instead you commend violence and destruction of property as long as your side does it.
Your hypocrisy and refusal to acknowledge that this isn't as one dimensional as you pretend makes it clear that you have very little interest anything but partisan Trump bashing.
FYI, I posted a lot of stuff over the weekend and hope to post more tomorrow. Many of the things you've bitched about are either in those posts, or waiting until I catch up again.
"The judicial warrant thing is just to slow things down."
By this do you mean the leftist demand for warrants? I have no problem with needing a judicial warrant to enter anyone's home, barring a reasonable suspicion of criminality in progress.
None of this is happening. But being a pervert fake Christian disgrace embracer, you pretend otherwise. Let's look at a few:
"First conceptualized in the aftermath of World War II, this personality profile was proposed to explain how ordinary people could embrace fascist and anti-democratic ideologies.
Individuals with a high “authoritarian” score tend to be highly conformist,
deferential to established authority, and punitive toward out-groups
who are seen as deviating from traditional values."
This is Dan-speak for "normal, law-abiding Americans who oppose illegal alien and domestic criminals "deviating" from established laws.
"1. Attacks on Journalism and Information
Authoritarians seek to make the public doubt objective truth, enabling them to control the narrative."
This is pathetic. No matter how many times we've documented clear cases of journalistic dishonesty, Dan nonetheless pretends his cherished liars present objective truth. But then, Dan's a liar, too, so....
"2. Attacks on Outsiders (Scapegoating & Xenophobia)
To consolidate power, authoritarian leaders often define themselves against an "other" to unite their base."
It's not "scapegoating" or "xenophobia" to distinguish between immigrants and illegal aliens. The latter are law-breakers. The former entered according to established and just immigration law. Dan's kind defines themselves against the "other" who are actually Americans who value the rule of law.
"3. Undermining Trust in Institutions & Journalism
By breaking down trust in independent, non-partisan institutions, the leader becomes the only trusted authority."
A re-wording of #1. Any trust in any institution was already broken down by the behavior of the institution itself, such as the corruption of the mainstream media to which Dan bows down.
"4. Secret Police & Violent Repression Tactics
The use of surveillance and intimidation ensures that opposition remains fragmented and afraid."
There is no "secret police" and all federal agencies have been above board in explaining their actions and how they are lawful and in accordance with their sworn duties. There was actual oppressive action against the populace by federal agencies under the Biden regime. There is only lawful action now.
"Or, there's this list:
Authoritarian leaders often follow a predictable, step-by-step process:
Politicize independent institutions.
Spread disinformation.
Aggrandize executive power.
Quash dissent.
Scapegoat vulnerable communities.
Corrupt elections.
Stoke violence"
Each of these are absolute manifestations of Democrats in power, as seen throughout the Obama years and more so during the Biden years. Dan couldn't produce a legitimate example of any of these things from Trump if I helped him lie harder.
As I was looking up something in reference to the next stupid comment by Dan, I came upon a list of examples of the Biden administration's attacks on journalism just from the Jan 6 disturbance. Dan is both a hypocrite as well as a liar and intellectual deficient.
First, US District Judge Fred Biery is a buffoon and TDS-sufferer. He thinks ICE needs a judicial warrant. There are conflicting stories regarding the detaining of this guy and his boy. Though I lean toward the ICE version, because they've no reason to lie, I, like Craig, am more than willing to await details before passing judgement. When they detain anyone who then turns out to be permitted to be in this country, the case is closed. I would submit that if one runs from ICE, that would indeed provoke suspicion that he is here illegally and detaining him where it is convenient for LE is rational and logical, particularly with the disgrace embracing "DMPs" causing felonious problems where the arrest took place.
Then, to whine that the boy was detained with his father is hypocrisy given all the previous false concern about children "ripped from their mother's arms" by border patrol and ICE agents.
The leftist reporting of this story is purposely biased to make victims of Ramos and his son and to demonize Trump for doing his job.
No "innocent" people were harmed by ICE. None.
Yes, the demand for judicial warrants for everything that ICE does. This goes so far beyond how things have worked in immigration enforcement since the '90s as to simply be absurd. A judicial warrant to take a door and enter someone's house, sure, but not for anything else.
If local authorities were turning over illegal alien criminals at the jails like they have done for decades, this wouldn't be an issue anyway.
It's all about making things easier for the criminals.
It's statistically unlikely that zero "innocent people" were "harmed" by ICE, but I get your point. The bigger issue is Dan's willingness to make these unproven claims and expect us to take him seriously.
FYI, if someone is involved in interfering with lawful law enforcement activity, or refusing to obey lawful orders from law enforcement and get tear gassed or hit with non lethal projectiles it's hard to pretend that they have nothing to do with what happened to them.
The left wants to do whatever they desire with no negative consequences. It's too bad that they've lost what made the civil rights era protests so effective.
I do love how Dan writes off "assault with a deadly weapon" (frozen bottles of water) as "throwing snowballs". His attempts to minimize the violent actions of his ilk are just as egregious as his attempts to exaggerate the actions of others.
It's strange but when I watch the "protesters"/rioters I see a mob of people who are absolutely highly conformist. This notion that "conforming" to the laws and norms of a society is automatically negative is simply insane. When I see Muslims who demand that they be given the ability to institute Sharia in various parts of American cities or that US law doesn't apply to them, I absolutely see that as a problem. Dan seems to see that as just cute nonconformism. When cities and counties choose to ignore or violate federal law, I see that is as problem. Dan sees cute nonconformism. When large mobs of leftists rampage through cities, establish checkpoints or autonomous zones, I see that as a problem. Dan sees cute nonconformism.
Assimilation is conforming (to some degree) with the mores and laws of the countries that immigrants come to, while still maintaining one's culture. It's about combining cultures in a way that makes the whole better, not replacing US culture with Somali/Muslim culture.
Under Dan's construct, Luigi Mangione isn't a murdering, violent, leftist, scumbag, he's merely a nonconformist.
I agree that we can't stress enough how the MSM has become a mouthpiece for the DFL/ASPL narrative as opposed to independent entities seeking to accurately report the Truth. Thankfully we've seen the rise of independent journalists over the past decade or so who are interested in doing journalism the way it used to be done. Unfortunately, Dan simply dismisses them as not being "real journalists" as if working for some legacy media company (which are all owned by big media conglomerates now anyway) magically makes you a "real journalist".
You are correct that we've seen every one of Dan's list from the DFL/ASPL much more that from the GOP/Conservatives since 2000.
That goes without saying.
Dan's reverence for certain judges, and disdain for others, (solely based on whether or not he likes their rulings) is a great example of what's wrong with the judiciary. When you have these hyper partisan judges who rule based on ideology rather than law, and overstep their authority, you end up with chaos in the judiciary. The likelihood that this ruling will not be overturned is small, but Dan will forever hold up this lower court ruling as if it is eternally binding.
I do agree that the actions of this guy would lead a reasonable LEO to conclude that he was likely guilty of something and by virtue of running should be detained until the investigation is finished. It's possible that this guy could have been running for reasons other than his immigration status. It seems completely reasonable and proper that he be detained until his actions are investigated.
But, according to Dan, they should have left him to run and left the kid freezing in the street.
I can't understand why it is so hard for Dan to comprehend that I don't base my thoughts about arresting those accused of crimes on anything other than the alleged actions of the accused. If LE commits crimes, arrest them. It's literally as simple as arresting those who've been accused of or are committing crimes period.
I must stand by my comment until evidence can be provided that an actual innocent person was harmed by ICE. But for one to be "innocent" would mean they were not at all or in any way involved in any behavior which is unethical, immoral or unlawful and provoked a response by ICE. I don't think such evidence exists because it makes no sense to assert that ICE turns their attention from their mission to attack truly peaceful protesters who are in their way, or that they rough up suspected illegals who don't resist being detained until their legal presence is confirmed.
