Since Dan claims to be ignorant of the massive, and extensive, frauds primarily engaged in by the Somali community in MN I've wanted to do another post on the topic to educate him. Unfortunately, I have the material but not the time to put a post together.
So, I'll start with a source of DATA that Dan can complain about because it's not an example of "real" journalism. But to summarize that Somali community has defrauded federal taxpayer dollars intended to feed the "poor", and federal tax dollars intended to provide care for those with autism, 50% of MN Somali immigrants have engaged in immigration fraud, @30% of CDLs issued are fraudulent, both Walz and Ellison honored and took money from those involved in these massive frauds, the Somali Muslim community and at least one Mosque spoke in favor of a Somali man who kidnapped and raped a 12 year old girl, and a judge unilaterally released one of the men convicted of defrauding US taxpayers out of over 7 million dollars.
I'll add more DATA as I have time. But you'd hope that the NYT would be enough to deal with Dan's ignorance.

Certainly, we can't know exactly what Dan knows (though we can feel confident he doesn't know it as well as he thinks he does) about what issues. We do know he knows very little about Trump or he would provide the kind of hard data in support of his allegations as he demands of us under the threat of deletion.
He falls back on his default "I oppose doing harm", which isn't true given his support of abortion. But he uses that as a blanket response when asked why he doesn't speak on Dems doing dirty.
In the case of the widespread fraud engaged in by both the Somali community, and the DFL, up here I understand Dan not being unaware of some of the details, but his professing total ignorance of a story being (finally) covered by the MSM seems like one more example of him choosing to ignore something that doesn't align with his narrative because ignorance means that he doesn't have to condemn whatever is happening.
The "I oppose doing harm" standard is fine in a simplistic, childish kind of way. Everyone opposes doing harm on some level. Yet we also acknowledge that it is sometimes necessary to do harm in order to achieve a greater good. We regularly amputate limbs, or remove organs to stop more harm from occurring. Likewise, people subject themselves to various cancer treatments which cause harm, but sometimes stop the cancer. Or, we engage in harm to stop greater harm (law enforcement, military action).
As you note, Dan's unflagging support of abortion, "transing", homosexuality, and Islam, are examples of him supporting activities and ideologies which are actively harming people. But those are his pet groups and he can't be bothered to suss out the harm being done.
