A little context is probably in order. The state of MN recently redesigned it's state flag amid much controversy over the design and the process. Recently cities have decided (via the appropriate legal/democratic process) that they prefer to fly the old state flag over the news state flag. What is hilarious is watching the same DFL idiots who bitch and moan over the feds withholding money over actual fraud in the programs being funded, engage in the exact same tactic that they complain about over a much less significant disagreement.
It's strange to think that displaying the old state flag or a US flag are now such an obvious political statement.
