The problem you all have is that, of course, if it were proven that Obama cheated people anywhere near the numbers in ways that your corrupt president has, we would condemn it and we would support appropriate legal action. If it were proven that Obama cheated even one person, we would support appropriate legal actions.
However a single unproven accusation is not proof. The problem you have is you give unlimited grace to a known corrupt hedonist liar time and time and time and time and time again, over and over and over. At some point you have to say that jackass is just the criminal he appears to be whereas you find one single report unproven against Obama and you're jumping on it as if it's a fact.

1. I'm having a hard time finding news stories on this story. That is, in and of itself, a red flag.
2. There are accusations, unproven so far, that the FOUNDATION working to build this building may not have fully paid all the contractors...
OR maybe it's the case that the CONTRACTORS hired by the foundation, those contractors, have not fully paid their subcontractors. Again the news is not clear and certainly not proven.
3. Thus it's a stupid and false lie to say that Obama has stiffed anyone. It's vulgar and no doubt evidence of just partisan bigotry rather than a real concern for unpaid workers, given your history of supporting the con man you voted for repeatedly.
4. In all likelihood this appears to be just some disputes that happen and they WILL be resolved. If crimes were actually done or misdeeds were done, you can bet that progressives will be on the side of the workers. Don't be an ass and don't be a gullible hypocritical ass.

What I saw was a black contractor (the only contractors given contracts for work...the racist pigs!) complaining he hasn't been paid, and a story related other similar complaints by many whose very livelihoods are in jeopardy if Obama defaults or delays.
What you've is leftist reports of Trump reneging on payments while saying the work done was not what he paid to receive, was not done on time and other such complaints, all of which you choose to believe without the slightest verification or confirmation simply because it is Trump who's accused. Dan is quick to absolve Obama of wrongdoing in "a" but doesn't give Trump the same "grace" by accepting "b" just as quickly. But hey...all that matters is that those Dan hates be hated by all, while those Dan loves be loved by all.
As to "proof"....another word Dan doesn't understand, Craig provided two links to news reports Dan pretend to have searched without finding which speaks to the allegations against Obama. These links provide details regarding the allegations and complaints against Obama for failing to pay those building that unsightly edifice of self-aggrandizement. With Dan's allegations against Trump, we get nothing but Dan's repetition of lefty talking points.
And now, without any evidence that Trump stiffed anyone, he demands we get on board with his Trump-hatred and condemn Trump for that for which Dan has no evidence of any kind, simply because Dan demands we "embrace hate".

The above gives some detail, but it still fails to resolve the notion of "stiffing" those who deserved to be paid. Dan chooses to believe every negative allegation against Trump because Dan likes to "embrace hate". Because Trump is accused, therefore Trump is guilty. It's no deeper than that for Dan.
Conversely, we prefer something more concrete in the way of evidence leaving no shadow of doubt before we'd lower ourselves to Dan's contemptible level. Dan chooses to believe every accusation without a single thought to the possibility that some contractors/subcontractors are less than reputable, efficient or dedicated to doing the best job possible, and yet they will whine about being stiffed.
In the meantime, I don't know the details regarding which side is telling the full unvarnished truth...or even thinks they are. But Dan embraces hate for Donald Trump and that's all that matters.
Obama, on the other hand...well, this guy who's never worked a day in his life is beyond question a man of absolutely integrity simply because Dan says so, and also without a shred of evidence to back it up.

There is some Truth to that. It’s more about the fact that I’ve been upfront about saying that I would allow his comments. There’s an element of feeling like I’ve become him by simply aborting his comments. Yes, they were unhinged, rambling, and a litany of his off topic greatest hits. But I think there is some value in allowing Dan to show everyone else who he really is, not his curated caricature that he presents. The lies, attacks, and the rest, are part and parcel of who he is.
All of the above sounds reasonable. The thing is that P-BO could have stepped up, paid the contractors, (maybe even a bonus) and reaped a huge PR bonanza, instead he and his shills chose the path we see Dan take.
The same folx who want to take a big chuck of money from Musk, can’t even say anything about P-BO when he’s got more than enough money to pay these people from his own vast wealth.
Trump’s company legally availed himself of bankruptcy laws, P-BO simply isn’t paying these people. For the work they did on this ugly boondoggle which cost an absurd amount of money. How many poor people could have been fed by the billions spent on this brutalist nightmare? Wouldn’t eradicating poverty in Chicago have been a better legacy?
