" This should make you angry. This is Bonnie Pierce, a 38-year-old mother of three from St. Paul, Minnesota. Her house caught fire. She and two of her children escaped, then realized her toddler was still inside. Bonnie went back in, found the child, but could not get out. She shielded the child with her body. She died from her burns. The child survived. A GoFundMe for her family raised about $42,000. By comparison, more than $1,000,000 was raised on GoFundMe for Lindsay Clancy, who was charged with killing her children. It is a sad reflection of the society we have become. RIP Bonnie."
How messed up is the ASPL that they cheer and fund raise for murderer, and ignore a hero?

" Regarding some of the Clancy juror interviews: -Good, normal, reasonable people need to stop trying to get out of jury service. Please. -The CW needs more training on jury selection in child homicide cases. -In child homicide cases, the most important thing is the facts & evidence surrounding the homicide. It’s not an afterthought. And, I’ll be professional, like I always am, but I’m showing compassion and empathy for the child victim, NOT the murderer. This is getting ridiculous. -If you strangle your three children to death you are not a “good” mom and clearly don’t “love” your children. I don’t care about past acts - good or bad. And, just so we are all clear, child abuse usually happens behind closed doors, not in public. Just because we don’t have witnesses to say you are a “bad” mom doesn’t mean you are a “good” mom. -Our society is not in a good place when people are getting “excited,” smiling, cheering, taking videos & selfies and rallying and cheering around a person who strangled her three children to death. The victims & the crime have become an afterthought to some people. That is incredibly sad. -This isn’t about gender. My wife is my best friend. She’s an awesome mom, wife and detective. I work with so many awesome female child abuse and homicide detectives. This is about humanity. It’s not okay, understandable, allowed, excused, justified or relatable to kill your children no matter what you are going through. The government has the responsibility to keep us safe. But a parent’s duty to protect their child is the highest duty. They are ultimately responsible and accountable if they kill their child. -Can people just stop hurting children!"

" It may be time to have a serious conversation about professional jurors. Listening to the three female boomers from the Lindsay Clancy jury explain their reasoning after the mistrial is disturbing, not because they reached a conclusion I disagree with, but because of how they say they got there. “She loved her children, so she had to have snapped.” “There were no witnesses saying Lindsay was a bad mother.” “The prosecution didn’t show enough compassion.” The prosecution was “harsh.” Reddington was “funny” and “entertaining.” None of that is the legal standard they were instructed to apply. Nobody disputed that Lindsay loved her children or that she suffered from mental illness. Nobody was asking the jury to decide if she was a good mother, whether the prosecutors were compassionate enough, or which lawyer they enjoyed watching more. The question was criminal responsibility: Did her mental illness leave her unable to appreciate the wrongfulness of her conduct or conform her conduct to the requirements of law? That question had to be decided from the evidence, including her behavior before, during and after the killings, the medical evidence, and the expert testimony. Instead, we're now hearing the female boomer jurors describe reasoning rooted in compassion, motherhood, likability and emotion. "She was a loving mother, therefore she must have snapped" isn't a legal standard. It's an emotional inference. Jurors are absolutely entitled to find reasonable doubt, but they're not entitled to replace the judge's instructions with their own definition of justice. If jurors can't separate what feels right from what the law requires, maybe it's time to seriously debate professional juries. Because three children deserved a verdict based on the evidence and the law, not which side made the jury feel better."

“Tomorrow is September 11th. And every year around this time, it seems that any honest conversation about Islamic ideology is labeled "Islamophobia."
So let me start with what I'm NOT saying.
I'm not saying your Muslim neighbor is responsible for 9/11. I'm not saying all Muslims are terrorists. I'm not saying individual Muslims can't be wonderful, peaceful people. Many are.
What I AM saying is that there is a conversation the Western world needs to have, and it's not about individual people. It's about what hundreds of millions of Muslims believe.
Here are the facts and numbers...
Pew Research surveyed 38,000 Muslims across 39 countries. Here's what they found.
In Afghanistan, 99% want Sharia to be the official law of the land. In Iraq, 91%. In Pakistan, 84%. In Egypt, 74%.
Among those who support Sharia as official law, solid majorities in multiple countries support the death penalty for leaving Islam. 86% in Egypt. 79% in Afghanistan. 76% in Pakistan. Majorities in those same countries also support stoning adulterers.
So these aren't fringe extremists hiding in caves. These are mainstream beliefs held by hundreds of millions of Muslims.
Now here's the question that makes people upset…
What happens when you import these beliefs into Western democracies through mass immigration without any serious expectation of assimilation?
We don't have to guess…
▸ At an Al-Quds Day rally in Dearborn, Michigan in 2024, crowds chanted "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" on American soil while a speaker praised the founder of Iran's Islamic Revolution.
▸ In Hamtramck, Michigan, the first all-Muslim city council in American history was elected in 2021. Progressives celebrated it as a triumph of diversity and inclusion. In 2023, that same council unanimously banned Pride flags from public property.
▸ In New York, Salman Rushdie was stabbed on stage by an American-born Hezbollah sympathizer attempting to fulfill a 33-year-old Iranian fatwa.
And across Europe, the pattern is further along.
▸ Two teachers have been murdered at school (Samuel Paty was beheaded in 2020 and Dominique Bernard was stabbed to death in 2023) both targeted by Islamic extremists for lessons involving free expression.
▸ In England, A teacher at Batley Grammar School has been living under an assumed name in permanent police protection since 2021 after receiving death threats for showing a Muhammad caricature in a religious studies class.
▸ In Rotherham and Telford: Exploitation gangs abused thousands of young girls while police and council officials ignored the crimes for over a decade out of fear of being labeled "racist" or "Islamophobic."
▸ In Denmark: In 2023, the government formally reinstated a national blasphemy law criminalizing the desecration of religious texts after riots and terror threats made protecting absolute free speech politically untenable.
These aren't isolated incidents. They're a pattern with a common thread...
Wherever these beliefs reach critical mass, free speech contracts, women's rights erode, institutional cowardice takes hold, and anyone who notices is called a bigot.
And here's what makes this so frustrating.
Many of the same voices constantly sounding the alarm about "Christian nationalism" in America look right past all of this.
Conservative Christians in America aren't beheading teachers, issuing fatwas, or forcing Western governments to bring back blasphemy laws. They're advocating their moral values through constitutional elections and civil courts... and for that, they get labeled theocratic threats.
If you're genuinely terrified of religion running the state, it makes zero sense to ignore the one religious framework on earth actively doing it, enforcing it by statute, executing people under it, and commanding massive popular support.
Remembering September 11th means remembering what happened. But it also means being honest about the ideology that motivated it, and how widespread those beliefs remain today among hundreds of millions of people.
Calling that "Islamophobia" doesn't make it go away.”

Trump directed two: Gulf of America and Mount McKinley. Same federal naming authority. Wildly different volume. Completely different reaction. "THE TRANS DEBATE—SETTLED IN ONE MINUTE BY A TRANSMAN. I’ve lived medical transition for 11 years. I don’t need a political party to tell me what I’ve learned: Biology matters. Medical transition belongs to adulthood. Transwomen are men. Transmen are women. And that’s okay. Adults may choose cosmetic procedures, but I don’t believe taxpayers or health insurance should be required to fund elective transition. Human beings recognize sex instinctively. You cannot legislate automatic human perception or force people to deny what their eyes and ears perceive. Before medical transition begins, a comprehensive, independent mental-health evaluation should be mandatory. That isn’t hatred. That isn’t conversion therapy. That is informed consent, responsible medicine and compassion grounded in reality. Adults deserve freedom. Children deserve protection. Women deserve boundaries. And everyone deserves the truth. I’m tagging politicians on both sides because reality shouldn’t belong to a political party. Watch the video, challenge my points and let’s have the debate honestly."

"The Ottoman official arrived with armed men and an order from the sultan. Christian families were commanded to bring out their sons. The boys were made to stand in a line while the officials moved among them, examining their faces, teeth, limbs, and bodies. Priests were forced to produce baptismal records. Fathers watched as strangers decided which children were strong enough, handsome enough, and intelligent enough to be taken. The chosen boys were registered by name. Their height, complexion, scars, and other features were recorded so they could be identified if they escaped. Then they were led away. Some mothers followed the columns, weeping and calling after their sons, until the guards forced them back. The boys were bound together or marched under armed watch toward Constantinople. Many would never see their families again. . . . The Ottomans called it the devşirme, meaning “collection.” The Christians of southeastern Europe called it the blood tax. Beginning in the late fourteenth century, Ottoman officials periodically entered Christian villages and took their boys for the service of the sultan. Greeks, Bulgarians, Serbs, Albanians, Bosnians, Armenians, and other conquered Christians were subjected to the levy. Parents hid their sons, falsified their ages, married them early, or scarred their bodies in hopes that the collectors would reject them. Some boys fled into forests or escaped from the columns carrying them away. Resistance could bring beatings, imprisonment, or worse. Once taken, the boys became the sultan’s slaves. They were circumcised and forced to convert to Islam. Their Christian names were replaced with Muslim ones. They were forbidden to practice the faith of their parents and separated from the language, customs, and people that might remind them who they had been. Many were sent to farms in Anatolia, where they performed hard labor while learning Turkish and Islamic practice. Others entered palace schools. Their training was deliberately merciless. Contemporary observers described hunger, exhaustion, savage beatings, and punishments intended to break disobedience. Enslaved palace boys were also vulnerable to sexual exploitation by powerful men. We cannot know how many suffered it, but their isolation and legal powerlessness left them with little protection from those who owned and supervised them. The empire did not merely want their service. It wanted to erase the Christian child and construct an Ottoman servant in his place. Many of the boys eventually entered the Janissaries, the elite infantry of the Ottoman army. They became disciplined archers, musketeers, palace guards, and assault troops. They stormed breached walls, defended the sultan, and formed the iron center of Ottoman armies. Janissaries helped capture Constantinople in 1453. They fought at Kosovo, Varna, Mohács, Malta, and Vienna. Boys taken from Christian villages were transformed into soldiers of Islam and sometimes sent to conquer or kill people who spoke the languages of their childhood. The system made conquered Christians surrender the children who would help conquer still more Christians. In one documented levy beginning in 1603, Ottoman officials collected 2,604 boys. That was one collection. The levies continued across generations. No complete total survives, but tens of thousands of boys were taken, and probably far more, over nearly three centuries. The devşirme declined during the seventeenth century as Janissary positions became increasingly hereditary and Muslims gained admission to the corps. The systematic taking of Christian boys finally disappeared in the early eighteenth century. For nearly three hundred years, however, Christian parents lived with the knowledge that an Ottoman official might appear, inspect their children, and choose which son they would lose."

" In 1990, more than a third of the planet lived in extreme poverty. Today it's under 10 percent. Over a billion people climbed out in a single generation. The fastest, largest escape from poverty in human history. It didn't come from government aid or charity. It came from capitalism. Free markets, private property and trade. When people are free to start a business, own what they build and sell it, they lift themselves out of poverty. Every time. Everywhere it's been tried. Nothing in history has lifted more people out of poverty."
It seems reasonable to conclude that Socialism/Communism leads almost inevitably to starvation, poverty for the majority, and death while Capitalism leads to the largest reduction in extreme poverty in history. Choose wisely.

" Pol Pot – What Happens When a True Believer Takes Power. He learned it in Paris. And he thought it was for real – not just the moral posturing of irresponsible French intellectuals in their Parisian cafés. That was the difference. And the difference was two million dead. Most communist leaders were opportunists. They used the ideology to seize power, and once they had it, the ideology bent to serve the power. Stalin was a gangster with a philosophy. Mao was a warlord with a manifesto. They killed millions – but in the service of control, not conviction. Pol Pot was a true believer. And that made him the most dangerous kind. In the early 1950s, as a scholarship student in Paris, he encountered the French Communist Party, the Marxist study circles, the cafés of the Latin Quarter where the ideas circulated among students who would never face the consequences of taking them seriously. The French intellectuals produced these ideas from comfortable apartments – moral posturing, civilizational performance, the gesture of opposition without the risk of implementation. They never intended it to be taken literally. Pol Pot took it literally. He returned to Cambodia with the complete theory in his head and the absolute conviction that it was correct. And when he took power in April 1975, he did not wait. Within days – within days – he ordered the complete evacuation of Phnom Penh. Two million people expelled from the capital on foot, at gunpoint, regardless of age or condition. Hospitals emptied. Patients wheeled out on their beds into the street. Because the city was the problem – the center of capitalism, corruption, bourgeois contamination. An honest communist works in the fields. So everyone would work in the fields. Then he abolished money. Completely. Overnight. The most total implementation of Marxist economics ever attempted – no currency, no markets, no private property, no trade. The economy would be organized by the Angkar – the Organization, which knew what people needed and would provide it. This is what the theory says. He did what it said. Year Zero. The past abolished. The educated eliminated – they carried the old consciousness in their heads. The family destroyed – it created loyalties that competed with the collective. Glasses confiscated – wearing them suggested literacy, which suggested education, which suggested bourgeois contamination. The killing fields were not a deviation from the theory. They were its conclusion, applied by a man who had read the texts carefully and believed them completely. Between 1975 and 1979, approximately two million Cambodians died – a quarter of the entire population. Executed, starved, worked to death. The French intellectuals who produced the ideas that formed him were never held responsible. Sartre continued to write. The cafés continued to operate. In the universities of Paris and Berkeley and Columbia, professors explained that Cambodia was a deviation, an excess, a misapplication. It was not a deviation. It was the experiment. The answer to the question: what happens when you take the theory seriously and have the power to implement it without constraint? The intellectuals who taught him went home for dinner. He went home to Cambodia. That is the difference between posturing and belief. And it is why ideas have consequences – especially the ones that are never meant to be taken seriously."

" Remember earlier this year, when the Trump admin said the quiet part out loud about Greenland and half the Western press treated it like a cartoonish land grab? The coverage was almost entirely about manners. Denmark was insulted. NATO was “at risk.” Greenlanders were “not for sale.” Some of us talked about the geostrategic strategy going on here but people were too caught up in the passions of the topic to listen. 9 months later, the same institutions are writing about China’s Arctic shortcut as if they just discovered the world map. The New York Times is now explaining that Beijing has launched the first regular container service across the Northern Sea Route, the so-called Polar Silk Road, and asking whether the voyage of the Dubai Tower is commerce or a geopolitical flex. Bro I was saying that in JANUARY. Could've been real useful for this explainer to come out then in the heat of the debate, no? China is a self-declared “near-Arctic state” more than 800 miles from the Arctic Circle. That tells you everything does it? It has run joint Arctic patrols with Russia and has turned a seasonal ice corridor into a viable alternative to Suez and Hormuz. Russia controls the permits and the icebreakers while China supplies the cargo, the capital, and the long game. This is a northern flank opening above North America. Meanwhile, let's take a look at Greenland's neighbor, Canada! On September 4, Canada held a “defence coordination dialogue” with China, the first since April 2018, when the Meng Wanzhou (Huawei exec) crisis froze the channel. All of this is part of a broader Carney-era pivot to realign with Beijing. Canada didn't mention anything btw until Beijing printed the read-out. You can oppose annexation, oppose coercion, and still admit the media sequence did not serve the public interest. The US has to start building a political community inside Greenland with control, basing rights in perpetuity, and resource jurisdiction. What the US needs is the ability to deny hostile infrastructure built inside Greenland. The Northern gateway to the Western Hemisphere cannot depend on Danish autonomy while China and Russia industrialize the ice and Canada reopens defense talks with Beijing. Too much is at stake. By the way China's ambitions on the polar Silk Road have been public for more than 8 years now. There's no excuse not to publish this kind of investigative reporting when it was salient and relevant."
Since Canada is going to bend over and take it in the shorts from China, maybe the US should do something to avoid the Arctic becoming de facto Chinese/Russian territory.

"Even the foreperson of the Lindsay Clancy jury admits that the 11 who wanted to vote not guilty by reason of insanity all knew she killed her kids and that she admits she killed her kids. They wanted to rule her not guilty by reason of insanity because people said she used to be a good Mom. They knew she killed her kids. Still wanted to let her off with an insanity ruling instead of holding her accountable like any other killer. Then they acted shocked that the lone holdout juror didn’t want to interact with them or listen to them. How have brains become this broken? She strangled her three kids. Strangled them. One by one. I can’t let this one go. It’s one of the most evil things you can do. I don’t care what set it off. She did the act. THREE TIMES. Every child killer deserves the death penalty, with exceptions for actual accidents of course. This was no accident. She did it. One by one. The insanity is not holding her accountable for it."

"Lee Kuan Yew abolished trial by jury in Singapore after determining that it was too easy for defence lawyers to appeal to racial and religious biases of juries in multicultural Singapore. He writes in his memoirs how as a young lawyer he was able to get three clients acquitted who he was sure did commit murder. LKY writes that he "worked on the weaknesses of the jury -- their biases, their prejudices, their reluctance really to find four Muslims guilty of killing in cold blood or in a heat of great passion, religious passion, an RAF officer, his wife and child." He writes "The judge was thoroughly disgusted. I went home feeling quite sick because I knew I'd discharged my duty as required of me, but I knew I had done wrong.” Study after study shows that in multi ethnic societies, there is significant in-group bias on juries."

"These juror interviews are extraordinary. They are admitting openly that they disregarded the law entirely for the sake of letting Clancy off the hook. There’s no other way to read it. One juror says she originally wanted to vote guilty but changed her mind so that “Lindsay could get the help she needs.” That is a clear violation of the law. They were supposed to make a determination solely about guilt or innocence. They were not there to make sure anyone “gets help.” Another juror says she voted not guilty because the prosecution never produced “character witnesses” proving Clancy was a “bad mother.” The problem is that A) killing your children IS definitive evidence that you’re a bad mother, and B) the prosecution would not have been allowed to call those kinds of witnesses. A witness solely testifying that Clancy was a bad mother would have been purely prejudicial. So this juror acquitted because the prosecution failed to provide evidence that they weren’t allowed to provide and which would have been irrelevant anyway. Extraordinary. This same juror even admitted that it was a “fact” that Clancy “viciously killed her children.” The word vicious literally means “done maliciously and with intent.” So if that’s a fact then they were obligated to vote guilty. But they didn’t. Meanwhile another juror swooned over the defense attorney’s “entertaining” demeanor. And another one said that all of the facts of the case — “everything,” her words — “proved” that Clancy “loved her children.” Apparently strangling your children to death, in this juror’s mind, does not at all call your love for them into question. Just a collection of the most morally obtuse idiots ever assembled. Amazing."

All of these things that people said were not and could not ever happen, yet we keep finding out that they happened. How much more vile can you be that to sell body parts from "botched" abortions? What is worse is that this profit motive would seem to give the "Doctors" an excuse to "botch" abortions and end up with a live baby in order to get paid twice for the same procedure. I'm guessing that body parts bring more profit than the abortion. Oh, and don't forget that our federal government is funding this vile organization.

"At some point, you have to stop calling it a coincidence. Minneapolis has become a case study in what happens when incompetent leadership is allowed to run a city for years without consequence. Gov. Walz, Mayor Frey, and the City Council have helped create a political and cultural environment where dysfunction is tolerated, accountability is optional, and common sense is treated like a character defect. And then everyone acts shocked when something awful happens. This city has become painfully polarized, increasingly chaotic, and culturally sick. The politics are performative. The outrage is manufactured. Empathy has been weaponized to excuse behavior that should never be excused. And the people who created the mess keep insisting they are the only ones qualified to fix it. They aren’t. The clown show has taken over. The loudest, most extreme voices dominate the conversation while ordinary people are expected to quietly accept the consequences. Crime, disorder, corruption, incompetence, and social dysfunction aren’t isolated accidents anymore. They are symptoms of a system that has been badly managed for far too long. Bad leadership produces bad outcomes. When you repeatedly make terrible decisions, ignore obvious warning signs, demonize anyone who objects, and refuse to hold anyone accountable, eventually the consequences become impossible to hide. Minneapolis doesn’t have a bad-luck problem. It has a leadership problem. And until someone is willing to say that plainly—and demand something radically different—the circus will keep running. I’ve had enough of the clown show."

"Women were told marriage was oppressive. Now wanting to be a wife is somehow controversial. (very liberated)
Women were told motherhood wasn't enough. Now raising your own children is called "wasting your potential". (Imagine believing that)
Women were depend on a man. So now depending on your boss for income is called independence. (Makes perfect sense)
Women were told that homemaking was unpaid labour. So we replaced it with paid labour...
and they still come home and do the homemaking. (Girl power)
Women were told that could have it all. Career, Children. Marriage, Home, Nobody mentioned they'd be expected to do it all too. (Tiny detail)
Women were taught that needing a man made them weak. Then we wondered why men and women started treating each other like competitors. (That went well)
Maybe the biggest lie wasn't that women could work. It was convincing women that home, motherhood, and marriage were beneath them. (And calling that liberation)
They told women they could be anything.
They just forgot to mention that wife, mother and homemaker were apparently the wrong answers. 😅
Somewhere along the way, liberation stopped meaning having choices and started meaning choosing the approved ones.
Build the career? Empowered.
Climb the ladder? Ambitious.
Outsource the home? Successful.
But say you want your husband to provide while you raise your children, make a home and build your life around your family?
Suddenly everyone is deeply concerned about your “potential.”
I don’t think women needed convincing that they were capable of working.
I think they needed reminding that creating a beautiful home, nurturing a marriage and raising the next generation were never lesser ambitions.
If feminism is about women having choices, then women choosing traditional roles shouldn’t make people this angry.
Maybe we weren’t liberated from oppression.
Maybe we were taught to look down on the things women once valued.
And some of us simply aren’t buying it anymore.
“Women should have choices!”
Okay… so why does everyone lose their mind when she chooses her husband, babies and home?
