Obviously the US Oil and Gas Association is not an unbiased organization. They clearly are advocating for a specific viewpoint. Yet, if their data is accurate (and why would it not be as the gas taxes in CA are easily verifiable, the shutting down of oil refineries is well documented, and their absurd insistence of CA specific blends is also well known) their point seems valid. To solely blame Trump for high gas prices (especially those that haven't exceeded the gas prices under Biden) is simply to lie. Is the Iran situation a factor, absolutely. Is it temporary, very likely. Is this an example of Kannah trying to score cheap political points by pushing a false narrative, definitely.
