You'd Think

I could be wrong, but it seems like credible allegations of what was essentially a money laundering scheme that benefited DFL candidates and funneled money to Ukraine would be something that would be investigated, and would be a bigger news story.

It also seems like it'd be worth investigating the vast sums of money that were earmarked for Ukraine, but can't be accounted for.

It also seems like the stories of election irregularities in Maricopa county should be investigated by a neutral 3rd party, doesn't it?   Because it seems improper that a sitting secretary of state, was able to oversee an election that she was running is, doesn't it?   Isn't that at least the appearance of impropriety?

However, I suspect these will soon be forgotten as more conspiracy theories, until 3-4 years down the road.   When, just like Hunter's laptop, the Russia dossier, and the like we'll find out that they weren't conspiracy theories but actual wrongdoing.

It would be easier to believe you're concerned about this if you were also bothered by the volumes of Trump's actual wrongdoing. And I GET that you will say you were no fan of Trump, but YOU STILL VOTED FOR HIM.

When I am bothered by serious problems with a candidate, I don't vote for them. That vote is an endorsement, your stamp of approval of the harm and wrong they've done.

So, when you get more actively involved in calling for Trump and his deviant defenders to be held accountable, I can take this concern more seriously.

As for me and mine, we've consistently said that if Hunter Biden or anyone else has done something wrong, hold them accountable. You'll just have to excuse us if we don't take right wing sources assuring us they've done something wrong seriously.

Dan,

What a strange way of expressing concern that your candidate and party was engaged in a multi billion dollar money laundering scheme which was directly aimed at funding DFL candidates in the recent elections.

Unlike you, I have never found a candidate that is 100% perfect and with whom I had zero disagreements or issues. This situation gives me two choices.

1. I can vote for the candidate with whom I have the fewest problems.
2. I can choose not to vote.

Since #2 is effectively a vote for the candidate with whom I have more disagreements/problems, I'm confronted with a voting against someone rather than voting for someone.

But I do love the caveat at the end. What's interesting is that you'll condemn any of this crap as long as it's served up to you with absolutely zero involvement of any "right wing" influences, but as long as it goes uninvestigated and unproven you'll just ignore it.

Strangely enough, I've said for years that I fully support holding all politicians of any party accountable to the fullest extent of the law when they've done anything wrong. Once more, you ignore that fact, while trying to pretend that your bland, catch all, claims get you off the hook for ignoring wrongdoing on your side.

Now, if you'd have said something like, "Both the Hunter laptop and this recent money laundering allegation are serious and concerning. I fully support extensive investigations by the DOJ and congress in order to determine the Truth.", then you'd have some credibility.

"Volumes"??? How about just a page, Danny-boy? Maybe even a paragraph from a page. You're such a godless liar.

Yes, yes, I get it. MAYBE Joe Biden - an apparently decent and moral man - has secretly engaged in raping millions of puppies and selling them as dinner snacks to a cabal of rich Hollywood types. That would be terrible, if it were true.

IF - IFIFIFIFIF - Biden or any Democrats have done anything wrong, hold them accountable. If Hunter Biden has done something wrong, charge him and hold him accountable and if he's guilty, punish him accordingly.

But we don't really care about your hypotheticals. But YOUR man, the pervert sicko that YOU voted for, has cheated people, objectively. His business is rife with corruption. He's sexually harassed women. He's mocked the disabled. He's falsely attacked our election process and attempted to undermine our Democracy. He's defending convicted insurrectionists, promising to pardon them. He's calling for the election to be overturned EVEN THIS WEEK and place him back in office. Your little boy tyrant idiot that YOU voted for is a pervert, a deviant, corrupt, dishonest as hell and dangerous to a free republic.

Let's start there with the deviant that YOU KNOWINGLY voted for. Condemn that corruption, indecency and perversion. And then, if and when H Biden (who I never voted for) or any other Democrats are guilty of something, hold them accountable, too. But in the meantime, there's a plank up your ass that has GOT to be giving you hemorrhoids. REMOVE THE PLANK, hypocrite.

Unlike you, if I had a choice between two candidates, one whom I KNEW was a pervert, liar, conman and sick-as-hell deviant who was actively trying to undermine the Republic, and another who I thought was not fit for office, I wouldn't vote for either. You knowingly voted for an overt pervert, known liar and someone known to be entirely unfit for office and THAT, according to historians, scholars, conservatives, liberals and rational people across the board.

That's what you chose to do. Much to your everlasting shame. Something you will be held accountable for, IF you believe in a just God.

and this recent money laundering allegation are serious and concerning. I fully support extensive investigations by the DOJ and congress in order to determine the Truth.

IF - IFIFIFIF! - H Biden has done something wrong, I fully support extensive investigations appropriate to the credible allegations. I've been saying that all alone and there is no reason to doubt it. On the other hand, you deviants voted for Trump KNOWING full well that he was a deviant and a pervert and a liar and a conman and attacking our free republic with dangerous lies. And you STILL voted for him.

Much to your historic shame.

I know I have shame for being supportive of Reagan back in the 1980s for a while. And that is much to my shame and discredit. But I admit it.

You continue to downplay the much worse perversions and dishonesty of the pervert-deviant-con man you voted for KNOWING he was so sick.

And that's the difference between us.

As to Biden, I've still not seen any hard data about his alleged crimes. So, I don't know what you think you know, but I doubt that it's true. If you're getting your news from some disreputable source like NY Post or Alex Jones, well, I don't give a damn about rumors and gossip. Because Why would I?

Here's what I've seen about H Biden:

"In the year after he disclosed a federal investigation into his “tax affairs” in late 2020, President Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, paid off a significant tax liability, even as a grand jury continued to gather evidence in a wide-ranging examination of his international business dealings, according to people familiar with the case."

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/16/us/politics/hunter-biden-tax-bill-investigation.html

and...

"Federal agents investigating President Biden’s son Hunter have gathered what they believe is sufficient evidence to charge him with tax crimes and a false statement related to a gun purchase, according to people familiar with the case."

https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2022/10/06/hunter-biden-tax-gun-charges/

If he should be held accountable for failing to pay taxes (that he has now paid back, after the fact), HOLD HIM ACCOUNTABLE. If he lied to get a gun, HOLD HIM ACCOUNTABLE.

But it's not like he's undermined a national election or boasted about molesting women and girls. And it's not like he was, you know, an elected official.

What is it you think he's done? That Joe and Hunter sold children in the basement of a pizza joint?

Please. Be an adult. Hold YOUR guy accountable for his real misdeeds before you attempt to hold the son of Biden (a man with drug addiction problems) for much lesser misdeeds.

Hypocrites are an embarrassment.

It also seems like it'd be worth investigating the vast sums of money that were earmarked for Ukraine, but can't be accounted for.

The conservative thinktank, the Hudson Institute:

"There has likely never been more accountability or transparency measures in place for US foreign assistance than what is available for Ukraine aid...

There is plenty of accountability and oversight. Those who argue that there is not enough have failed to outline in detail what additional oversight is needed. "

and...
.. .
"To date there have been “no high-profile cases of corruption involving donated military equipment, budget funding, or humanitarian aid.” It is no secret that corruption is a problem in Ukraine. This is the case with most of the states that gained independence after the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. Since 2014, Ukraine has taken positive steps at fighting corruption."

https://www.hudson.org/foreign-policy/ten-myths-us-aid-ukraine-luke-coffey

Maybe instead of going the modern conservative tack of making vague and unsupported allegations of misdeeds, you'd be better off stating PRECISELY what you mean to say. Gossip, rumormongering and vague accusations are the stuff of children's playtimes, not adult conversations.

Are you calling for an END to support for Ukraine as they face a hostile and unprovoked invasion from Russia? Are you defending Russia and its unprovoked attack on Ukraine? Are you saying Ukraine should just fall to Russia, self-determination of free people be damned?

What SPECIFICALLY are you having a problem with?

On a similar theme of vague and ENTIRELY unsupported sort of accusations, Craig said...

It also seems like the stories of election irregularities in Maricopa county should be investigated by a neutral 3rd party, doesn't it?

WHAT "election irregularities"? According to WHOM? Cite DATA, not empty charges that, on the face of it, appear to be full of shit.

Empty claims, while a staple in modern maggot conservatism, are meaningless to rational adults.

Marshal...

Okay, VERY briefly...

President Trump wasn’t that bad...
other than when he incited an insurrection against the government,
mismanaged a pandemic that killed a million Americans,
separated children from their families,
lost those children in the bureaucracy,
tear-gassed peaceful protesters on Lafayette Square so
he could hold a photo op holding a Bible in front of a church,
tried to block all Muslims from entering the country,
got impeached,
got impeached again,
had the worst jobs record of any president in modern history,
pressured Ukraine to dig dirt on Joe Biden,
fired the FBI director for investigating his ties to Russia,
bragged about firing the FBI director on TV,
took Vladimir Putin’s word over the US intelligence community,
diverted military funding to build his wall,
caused the longest government shutdown in US history,
called Black Lives Matter a “symbol of hate,”
lied nearly 30,000 times,
banned transgender people from serving in the military,
ejected reporters from the White House briefing room who asked tough questions,
vetoed the defense funding bill because it
renamed military bases named for Confederate soldiers,
refused to release his tax returns,
increased the national debt by nearly $8 trillion,
had three of the highest annual trade deficits in U.S. history,
called veterans and soldiers who died in combat losers and suckers,
coddled the leader of Saudi Arabia after he ordered
the execution and dismembering of a US-based journalist
refused to concede the 2020 election,
in 2022, STILL refusing to concede the 2020 election AND
is calling to overturn the Constitution to reinstate him STILL
hired his unqualified daughter and son-in-law to work in the White House,
walked out of an interview with Lesley Stahl,
called neo-Nazis “very fine people,”
suggested that people should inject bleach into their bodies to fight COVID,
abandoned our allies the Kurds to Turkey,
pushed through massive tax cuts for the wealthiest
but balked at helping working Americans,
incited anti-lockdown protestors in several states at the height of the pandemic,
withdrew the US from the Paris climate accords,
withdrew the US from the Iranian nuclear deal,
withdrew the US from the Trans Pacific Partnership
(which was designed to block China’s advances),
insulted his own Cabinet members on Twitter,
pushed the leader of Montenegro out of the way during a photo op,
failed to reiterate US commitment to defending NATO allies,
called Haiti and African nations “shithole” countries,
called the city of Baltimore the “worst in the nation,”
claimed that he single handedly brought back the phrase “Merry Christmas”
even though it hadn’t gone anywhere...

But wait. There's more...

Sorry, that was in response to Marshal's request, "Volumes? How about just a page..."

Continuing then...

forced his Cabinet members to praise him publicly like some cult leader,
believed he should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize,
berated and belittled his hand-picked Attorney General
when he recused himself from the Russia probe,
suggested the US should buy Greenland,
colluded with Mitch McConnell to push through
federal judges and two Supreme Court justices after supporting efforts to
prevent his predecessor from appointing judges,
repeatedly called the media “enemies of the people,”
claimed that if we tested fewer people for COVID we’d have fewer cases,
violated the emoluments clause,
thought that Nambia was a country,
told Bob Woodward in private that the coronavirus was a big deal but then
downplayed it in public,
called his exceedingly faithful vice president a “p---y” for
following the Constitution,
nearly got us into a war with Iran after threatening them by tweet,
nominated a corrupt head of the EPA,
nominated a corrupt head of HHS,
nominated a corrupt head of the Interior Department,
nominated a corrupt head of the USDA,
praised dictators and authoritarians around the world while criticizing allies,
refused to allow the presidential transition to begin,
insulted war hero John McCain – even after his death,
spent an obscene amount of time playing golf after criticizing Barack Obama for playing (far less) golf while president,
falsely claimed that he won the 2016 popular vote,
called the Muslim mayor of London a “stone cold loser,”
falsely claimed that he turned down being Time’s Man of the Year,
considered firing special counsel Robert Mueller on several occasions,
mocked wearing face masks to guard against transmitting COVID,
locked Congress out of its constitutional duty to confirm Cabinet officials
by hiring acting ones,
used a racist dog whistle by calling COVID the “China virus,”
hired and associated with numerous shady figures that were eventually
convicted of federal offenses including his campaign manager and
national security adviser,
pardoned several of his shady associates,
has promised to pardon the racist insurrectionists,
gave the Presidential Medal of Freedom to two congressman who
amplified his batshit crazy conspiracy theories,
got into telephone fight with the leader of Australia(!),
had a Secretary of State who called him a moron,
forced his press secretary to claim without merit that his was the
largest inauguration crowd in history,
botched the COVID vaccine rollout,
tweeted so much dangerous propaganda that Twitter eventually banned him,
charged the Secret Service jacked-up rates at his properties...

But wait, there's more!

Dan Trabue said...

claimed that COVID would “magically” disappear, called a U.S. Senator “Pocahontas,” used his Twitter account to blast Nordstrom when it stopped selling Ivanka’s merchandise, opened up millions of pristine federal lands to development and drilling, got into a losing tariff war with China that forced US taxpayers to bail out farmers, claimed that his losing tariff war was a win for the US, ignored or didn’t even take part in daily intelligence briefings, blew off honoring American war dead in France because it was raining, redesigned Air Force One to look like the Trump Shuttle, got played by Kim Jung Un and his “love letters,” threatened to go after social media companies in clear violation of the Constitution, botched the response to Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, threw paper towels at Puerto Ricans when he finally visited them, pressured the governor and secretary of state of Georgia to “find” him votes, thought that the Virgin islands had a President, drew on a map with a Sharpie to justify his inaccurate tweet that Alabama was threatened by a hurricane, allowed White House staff to use personal email accounts for official businesses after blasting Hillary Clinton for doing the same thing, rolled back regulations that protected the public from mercury and asbestos, pushed regulators to waste time studying snake-oil remedies for COVID, rolled back regulations that stopped coal companies from dumping waste into rivers, held blatant campaign rallies at the White House, tried to take away millions of Americans’ health insurance because the law was named for a Black man, refused to attend his successors’ inauguration, nominated the worst Education Secretary in history, threatened judges who didn’t do what he wanted, attacked Dr. Anthony Fauci, promised that Mexico would pay for the wall (it didn’t), allowed political hacks to overrule government scientists on major reports on climate change and other issues, struggled navigating a ramp after claiming his opponent was feeble, called an African-American Congresswoman “low IQ,” threatened to withhold federal aid from states and cities with Democratic leaders, went ahead with rallies filled with maskless supporters in the middle of a pandemic, claimed that legitimate investigations of his wrongdoing were “witch hunts,” seemed to demonstrate a belief that there were airports during the American Revolution, demanded “total loyalty” from the FBI director, praised a conspiracy theory that Democrats are Satanic pedophiles, completely gutted the Voice of America, placed a political hack in charge of the Postal Service, claimed without evidence that the Obama administration bugged Trump Tower, suggested that the US should allow more people from places like Norway into the country, suggested that COVID wasn’t that bad because he recovered with the help of top government doctors and treatments not available to the public, overturned energy conservation standards that even industry supported, reduced the number of refugees the US accepts, insulted various members of Congress and the media with infantile nicknames, gave Rush Limbaugh a Presidential medal of Freedom at the State of the Union address....

Okay, I'm stopping. Those were the ONE LINE descriptions of stories of corruption, perversion and just plain deliberate stupidity. The Marshals of the world would STILL think their pervert is great and the Craigs of the world would STILL downplay how awful Trump is, even while acknowledging tepidly that he is awful, even while STILL voting for the man who WILL (already has) go down in history as one of the worst, most corrupt, most deviant, most dishonest and stupidest presidents in US history.

2. At a very minimum, this wrongdoing was unreported in kind campaign contribution.

As far as the rest of your one line stuff and your links, I didn't read any of them. I didn't do so for a couple of reasons.

1. I've heard them all before.
2. The likelihood that you've included things have been proven false, or are unproven is high.
3. "The other guy did stuff too.". is literally never a convincing reason not to investigate wrongdoing.
4. I can't believe that you would build a similar list for Biden, P-BO, or Clinton.
5. Art can, and likely will deal with them in much more detail than they deserve.
6. Trying to deflect attention from the sitting POTUS, the MSM and Social Media companies who manipulated the news to his benefit by pointing out the flaws of the Ex POTUS, is literally never an effective defense.
7. Since I'm not a Trump supporter, I see no reason to "defend" the things he's been accused of. Beyond pointing out when those accusations have been proven false.

PROVE IT.

Don't make stupidly false, unsupported claims that have NO DATA to support them. PROVE that "the media" deliberately "hid" a news story about H Biden or others. AND that they did so to try to impact political outcomes.

The fact is, the media doesn't and CAN'T write on every story that may or may not be out there. The media doesn't and can't investigate every wild charge that is out there.

The fact is that Trump and modern conservatives have made a habit of making outrageously stupidly false claims and references to conspiracy theories (the Democrats and Hollywood have a sex slavery cabal housed at a pizza joint, that the Clintons had people killed, that the election was stolen, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc) so you'll have to excuse the free press and rational people across the world when we roll our eyes at conservative claims. Especially when there is NO SUPPORT for them.

So that brings us back to your stupidly false claim: PROVE IT or just recognize that people of good will and intellect will dismiss you as another conspiracy theorist.

Craig...

No, I/we/no one would build a similar list for the Democrats you mention. THAT IS THE POINT.

Scholars, historians, rational people across the political spectrum recognize that Trump is an outrageously corrupt and perverse outlier, the result of conservative/GOP abandonment of reasonable claims in favor of the most outrageous of endless conspiracy theories and false charges. Trump is the bastard child of Newt Gingrich and the Religious Right's salacious adultery.

Craig...

Trying to deflect attention from the sitting POTUS, the MSM and Social Media companies who manipulated the news to his benefit by pointing out the flaws of the Ex POTUS, is literally never an effective defense.

Literally NOT what I'm doing. Read my words: IF H BIDEN HAS COMMITTED CRIMES, PROVE IT and then we'll all hold him accountable. If it goes BEYOND H Biden, PROVE THAT.

I'm just not going to take conservatives' word that, really, H Biden IS corrupt and has done something illegal. You all have collectively lost credibility. You can't lie down in the Sheol of conspiracy theories and ridiculously stupidly false claims and expect people to take you all seriously.

They pervert boys who called wolf should not be trusted and won't be trusted by the adults. Even now, you falsely claim we're "staying silent" about "investigations," and you can't even bring yourself to CITE A SINGLE credible claim that's been proven. As I noted back in the Spring, let the investigations to this family member of the president be investigated and, IF anything was done wrong, hold him accountable. That IS saying something about the investigations.

So, while I have not remained silent, YOU have remained silent about the profiteering by Trump and his children.

First, pull the plank out of your eyes, hypocrite.

Investigations are ongoing. LET THEM GO ON. As I said back clearly back in the Spring. And WHY did I say that? Because it was reported on by the MSM.

So, the fact that you're denying reality about our support for investigations into H Biden while remaining silent on Trump's corruption and overt abuses of power by him and his children, THAT says volumes.

"Don't make stupidly false, unsupported claims that have NO DATA to support them. PROVE that "the media" deliberately "hid" a news story about H Biden or others. AND that they did so to try to impact political outcomes."

By all means let's ignore the evidence coming out of Twitter, let's ignore the fact that major newspapers haven't covered the story, let's just ignore all of the evidence, and stay silent when it comes to DOJ or congressional investigations. Excellent plan. But hey, if you aren't going to prove your claims, maybe stop demanding that others do what you won't.

The reality is that the evidence that's come out recently is vast and strongly suggests that the MSM, Big Tech, and the DFL colluded in influencing the 2016 and 2020 elections by pushing a false narrative.

It should be investigated more deeply, those investigations should be non partisan, and they should lead to criminal charges if appropriate.

You're the one who's been silent on this, maybe you should do what you demand of others.

FYI, thanks for admitting that you wouldn't put together a list of the failures of the last 3 DFL presidents. It's refreshing when you admit your partisan blindness.

As far as I can tell, much of these comments is simply repeating yourself. I don't have time to waste responding to you repeating the same things over and over.

If you can't admit that the recent revelations about the Hunter Biden story, FTX, and the like don't look good for your side, and should be fully investigated, then I see no reason to feed your partisan fantaises.

You see, the problem is that modern conservatism has by and large sold their soul to a path of lies and vague/unsupported innuendo and gossip and conspiracy theories and when we, the rational people of the world (INCLUDING conservatives) no longer take you all seriously, it's your own fault.

For instance, you made this stunningly false claim based on a molestation of what I actually said...

thanks for admitting that you wouldn't put together a list of the failures of the last 3 DFL presidents. It's refreshing when you admit your partisan blindness.

I didn't say - I LITERALLY did not say - that I couldn't put together a list of failures of Democrats. Of course, I can. I've done it plenty of times. It's a stupidly false claim... or perhaps just stupidly ignorant misunderstanding of my actual words.

What I said was that no one could compile a list SIMILAR to the ones against Trump because Trump is SO BLINDINGLY far beyond the pale of decency, intelligence and honesty and so far INTO corruption, lies and cons, that there is simply no comparison between his misdeeds and the failures of past Democrats - or GOP presidents, as far as that goes. For all their failures (and in Reagan's case, perhaps, incompetencies), none of the modern GOP presidents were overtly bad, corrupt men in the league of the man you voted for.

"5. Art can, and likely will deal with them in much more detail than they deserve."

Indeed I can and very likely will. It won't be too laborious beyond wading through the list of unproven allegations and assertions to deal with actual wrongdoing, which is what Dan originally said.

Craig...

By all means let's ignore the evidence coming out of Twitter,
let's ignore the fact that major newspapers haven't covered the story,
let's just ignore all of the evidence

WHAT "evidence" from that high quality news organization, "Twitter..."?

WHAT "story..."?

WHAT "evidence..."?

You keep talking without providing ONE SINGLE RELIABLE BIT OF DATA.

This is why the modern MAGA/GOP has become a joke for rational adults.

Craig...

If you can't admit that the recent revelations about the Hunter Biden story, FTX,
and the like don't look good for your side,
and should be fully investigated

WHAT "revelations..."?

And as I've made clear for months and forever, I FULLY support the proper authorities investigating any wrongdoings and holding the guilty accountable, so that entirely dismantles that diabolical lie.

And this, from a TRUMP supporter (ie, someone who voted for Trump and doesn't acknowledge the historic deviancy and corruption of your pervert that you voted for).

I'd laugh it weren't so pathetic.

One day, your children and grandchildren will rise up and call you cursed.

It should be investigated more deeply, those investigations should be non partisan, and they should lead to criminal charges if appropriate.

NYT...

Republican Inquiry Finds No Evidence of Wrongdoing by Biden

An election-year investigation by Senate Republicans into corruption allegations against Joseph R. Biden Jr. and his son, Hunter, involving Ukraine found no evidence of improper influence or wrongdoing by the former vice president, closing out an inquiry its leaders had hoped would tarnish the Democratic presidential nominee.

Look, as I've ALWAYS made abundantly clear - and I've been consistent on this - we NEED RULES that place restraints on profiteering off of the presidency, either by presidents (like your pervert con man you voted for) or by their families. But as it stands now, much of the profiteering that happens is not illegal, as the GOP investigation made clear.

I'd LOVE it if pervert-conman voters like you would join with people like me in demanding rules to prevent that sort of profiteering. BUT, as long as you're quiet about it when there are over-the-top corruptions done by the Family Trump, it's not likely to happen.

Where are the posts from you calling for the TRUMP deviants to be held accountable?

Silence against the oppressors is tacit support.

Here’s your ideological partner’s comment on the Capital police - officers who defended our nation’s institution and legislators against an insurrection of Trump supporters, some armed with Molotov cocktails and dressed in tactical gear:

“That's funny. First, that any of the cops at the PROTEST received any special award.”

Your “patriotic” brother, Craig.

What an amoral hypocrite you are.

From H Biden's alleged computer...

""It's Dad. I called to tell you I love you. I love you more than the whole world, pal. Got to get some help, You gotta get some help," Mr. Biden says in one message, in an apparent reference to Hunter Biden's admitted struggle with drug addiction. "I don't know what to do. I know you don't either, but I am here no matter what you need, no matter what you need, I love you."

Egads. The scandal!

Craig said...

Oh, Dan managed to cherry pick one alleged message from HB's computer that's innocent, therefore that proves that there's nothing else at all on there that is problematic. Dan has spoken, case closed.

Dan apparently has trouble with the concept that individual people have individual opinions and that some overlap between people doesn't mean that those two people totally agree or that there is some shared responsibility.

OMG, some people wore scary "tactical gear" to a protest, let's jail them immediately. Unless they are leftists who wear riot gear or NBP's, then it's all cool.

"PROVE that the MSM "hid" and "covered up" the H Biden story? HOW did I know about it if I didn't read it in the MSM?"

Well, we've seen the Twitter evidence, we've seen the headlines calling the story a 'conspiracy theory", we've seen the stories touting the "Russia dossier". I know this might be confusing to you, but I'd argue that lying about, mischaracterizating, or downplaying a story is a way to to cover up the reality of a story by presenting a false narrative. The other side of that is that we live in a world where there are enough alternatives to the MSM and Big Tech that it's possible to "hear of" a story even as the MSM/BT folks try to cover it up or minimize it.

I'm sorry. I'm just not going to waste time addressing multiple versions of the "Conservative's did it first" bullshit. It's absurd. I understand that the left wing/MSM/BT narrative over the last few years is to divert attention away from wrongdoing on the left by saying some version of "But Trump or But conservatives". It's lazy, stupid, and pointless.

If you think that the reported influence peddling, money laundering, election manipulating, voting irregularities, and the like should be ignored and swept under the rug, just say so. But stop this idiocy of demanding investigations and impeachments of every single rumor about any "conservative", if you can't call for the same on the left with the same level of intensity.

I know this might be confusing to you, but

LYING ABOUT
MISCHARACTERIZING or
DOWNPLAYING a story...

Is precisely what you're doing.

WHERE IS THE PROOF? I GET that you are saying, "but twitter says..."

But where is the link?

I GET that YOU are saying...

They are misrepresenting the story

BUT WHERE IS THE PROOF?

Your claims are meaningless pieces of shit. I don't care what you write. Provide links. Provide data. Provide SUPPORT.

This is the problem with the modern conservative trend of making stupidly false claims and referencing conspiracy theories: What you say is meaningless. We don't care about your unsupported hunches. WHERE IS THE DATA?

If you keep repeating empty and entirely unsupported hunches and thoughts you have as if they are meaningful, you continue to hammer nails into the coffin or your credibility.

WHAT DID H BIDEN DO? WHERE IS THE SUPPORT?

WHAT DID THE "MSM" DO? WHERE IS THE SUPPORT?

Confirmed liars and conspiracy advocates WILL be ignored.

None of that is factual. I NEVER brought up "conservatives did it first" as some kind of defense. Those are YOUR words and not a bit of what I've said. Stupidly false claim, as is the modern norm for modern brainless and brazenly irrational and false conservatives.

Your making up false claims is what is lazy, stupid and pointless.

Dan Trabue said...

Craig stupidly falsely said/suggested...

If you think that the reported influence peddling, money laundering, election manipulating, voting irregularities, and the like
should be ignored and swept under the rug

1. BAD BEHAVIOR SHOULD NEVER BE IGNORED and I've never not one time in my life have suggested that it should be. That you are suggesting that is the case is a damned lie vomited out of Satan's ass, swallowed by you and passed on in your words here, as if ANYONE cares about your stupidly false claims or takes them seriously.

2. WHAT "reported influence peddling, etc" CITE THE DATA. Don't tell me what the tin-foil hat crowd is telling you. CITE THE DATA. Links. Proof. Something more than your diarrheic words.

Craig said...

Dan,

If your last comment is representative of the rest of you comments, I'll likely not waste my time. The fact that you don't understand that a question is not a statement or suggestion simply invalidates anything else you might say about that question.

Your entire argument is simply variations on "the pother guys do/did it", and the fact that you can't see that is concerning. When you first response is not to specifically condemn apparent wrongdoing on your side, then you simply surrender any pretense of any moral high ground. When your first response is to bring up what "the other guys" have done, anything else you say deserves to get ignored.

Dan is just all to willing to repeat what he hears when what he hears validates his own hatred and nonsense.

It's funny. He suggests I may someday wake up to the "Truth" about Trump. The fact is I'm finally coming to the realization that all who block him from commenting were right to do so. He's a liar and God-hating POS who is quick to embrace whatever he thinks justifies it all. God help him. But I think God's given him over to his evil.
