Kamala Harris sat for a rare interview with a revered journalism institution, 60 minutes, recently. As usual her answers were incoherent, and one answer in particular was really bad. It was so bad that the real journalists at the revered 60 Minutes, a part of revered CBS news, decided that they would edit the answer from a totally different question into the interview as if it was her answer to the question asked. Now it's been a while since I got me degree in journalism, so I may be wrong, but I seem to remember that this sort of manipulation was a journalistic no-no. Especially for real journalists with revered journalism institutions.
What this sounds like, to me, is election interference. It's a deliberate attempt to portray Harris falsely as a way to help her get elected. Again, it's been a while, but I'm pretty sure that using the public airwaves for this sort of thing is a journalistic no-no.
Unfortunately, 60 minutes has a history of this sort of interference. Remember when they insisted that it was impossible to verify the Hunter Biden laptop? Well, it was verified, no thanks to folks like those at 60 Minutes.
It also seems unseemly that someone in charge of a broadcast news division would be donating large amounts of money to Harris.
Maybe real journalists don't still adhere to the ethics I learned back in the day, maybe it's now perfectly fine to manipulate interviews to benefit one candidate. Maybe we shouldn't revere these real journalists as much as we do. Maybe it's significant that about 98% of MSM journalists are left leaning.
Who knows, my faith in journalistic ethics has been shaken.

It's almost like they're enemies of the people!
Personally, I think it's because they've been brainwashed to think that they need to tweak and spin the news rather than report it. This is simply one of the more egregious failures in recent history and our resident Juco "journalism" expert and Harris supporter, hasn't said w word about it.
I noticed several clips from the leftist media showing hand-wringing and pearl-clutching over Trump referencing Pelosi and Schiff (and by extension...the Dem Party) as "the enemy from within". The ironic part is the racist, homophobic Joy Reid added it was a sign of his Hitlerian ways. So, it's OK to regard Trump as an actual "threat to our democracy", but for him to regard the Dems as enemies from within...which they are (indeed, the truest threat to our democracy)...that's just too much! Oh the horror.
This whole "Hitler" thing of late from everyone from Harris on down is simply absurd and has no basis on fact. That this obvious lie is all they have this close to the election is telling as to what their internal polling numbers look like. That we now have (I'll post on it later) other revered journalists publishing easily debunked lies, and the Harris campaign repeating those lies just shows desperation IMO. Anyone who has ever criticized trump for lying as an excuse to not vote for him, cannot in good conscience vote for Harris at this point.
