I Apologize, But This Is Tally In His Own Words, Mostly

To start with, I'm not particularly obsessed with Talarico, but I do want to make a point or two.

1.  He is clearly trying to put a Biblical veneer on DFL policies and things leftists support.  My question is how many leftists who already are anti Christian will flock to support this guy because he makes a twisted case that the Bible supports abortion.  FWIW, he's pretty much arguing that getting an abortion is one's christian duty.

2.  If he was a GOP candidate making these sorts of explicitly Biblical arguments for conservative policies, the ASPL would be going insane.  Look at how they reacted to Kirk making an argument against abortion which didn't rely on Scripture and how they objected to it because his objection was rooted in his faith.

I completely understand that he'll get votes simply because there's a D after his name on the ballot, but it's absurd to argue that he's making a case for something much closer to a theocracy than anyone running for office on the right.

"Democrat and Presbyterian seminarian James Talarico has won the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate. Here are some of his beliefs: - Thinks illegal immigrant children are more patriotic than American children. - Thinks the Torah tells you how to give an abortion. - Thinks the trans community needs abortion too. - Think there are 6 genders. - Thinks God is “nonbinary.” - Thinks the Bible supports gay marriage. - Thinks Jesus supported abortion because he talked to and was kind to women. - Thinks the story of Mary's Annunciation is proof that God supports abortion."

For a Christian to deny that a human baby is not "God's creation" seems off brand.

The guy's a rank heretic, which means he's a rank liar, which means if Dan was a Texan he'd be first in line to vote for him.

Absolutely Dan would vote for him if given the chance.
