"As punishment for American academic
being the first to report publicly that Jason Arday’s DEI research was full of plagiarism, Ghent University, where he is a researcher, announced he is being investigated. The person who announced the investigation is the trans rector. He was recently forced to admit that a speech he gave at the university was written with AI and included fake quotes."https://x.com/msmelchen/status/2090462630641098789?s=51&t=cLq01Oy84YkmYPZ-URIMYw
"At this point, everyone kind of knows that any black individual of genuine competence and intellectual acuity will recognize and forthrightly expose the fraudulence in Arday’s narrative and the deeper intellectual bankruptcy of DEI itself. So this entire episode has inadvertently become a natural public litmus test of real ability because it is precisely those who are capable who stand to suffer most from the racial quotas that DEI enforces. It's uncomfortable to say so but it's true."

I haven't done much with the Arday story, but it's one more example of a black academic building their entire persona on lies and bad research and eventually getting exposed. It can't have anything to do with the ASPL venerating people for skin color or minority rather than competence.

Unknown,
If you want your screeds to make it out of moderation you’ll need to identify yourself.
I guess this Arday guy is dead now. Suicide, I think.
Yes, this gentleman who built an academic career based on fraud and leveraging his race was unable to cope with the Truth about him being exposed and committed suicide. That plenty of people and institutions facilitated his deception and con would seem to make them responsible to some degree as well.
