So here's a guy who is part of the community which burdens our nation and he wants to be someone who is a part of our nation helping to improve it, and he's getting push back from the very people the left demands we must honor, respect and cherish as integral to what makes the nation great. How's that work?
Thus, serious vetting of applicants for immigration is non-negotiable. Even if the goal is to provide for family in the old country, these immigrants cannot provide no benefit to ours in the process. And from what this guy is saying, it seems that what they send back to their peeps back home is drawn for welfare handouts here. Get rid of them. Keep this guy.
It sounds like the community is so steeped in corruption and grift that they don't want anyone to mass up their system. Some of this is cultural in that in many African countries scamming the government is an acceptable because it's the government. It makes some sense that immigrants would bring those sorts of attitudes with them. The fraud has taken a significant hit, and it's probably hurting those on the periphery like the folks who got paid to enrol in one of the care or driving scams.
I've said for years that deep vetting is a must for immigrants at the very minimum. Part of the obvious problem is the Muslim practice of Taquaya whcih makes it hard to accept at face value what is being said.
It is refreshing to hear someone in the Somali community speaking out, I hope he doesn't pay a price for this.
I'll note that we don't have these kinds of problems in the Hmong?Karen?Ethiopian/Hispanic communities, certainly not at this scale and level of organization anyway.
There will always be the bad apples who are able to gain entry. But with some groups, to even entertain the possibility it's worth the risk ain't worth the risk. I don't care how "racist" it sounds. It's not my fault the vast majority of muslims, even on their best days, are automatically a threat simply by virtue of being muslim.
If the bad apples are few and far between, it's not hard to deal with them. When the bad apples have taken over, it becomes an entirely different thing. When the Somali/Muslim community chooses not to police itself it makes things harder and casts the good apples in a bad light.
That entire Somali community needs to be deported.
