Apparently

Apparently I’ve got some sort of internet stalker situation.   When I’m the topic of conversation in comments on multiple blogs, and the topic of multiple posts, I’m not sure if I should be flattered, disgusted, or creeped out.

Hell, I have a whole page (or maybe a few?) out there dedicated to "exposing" me. They are a weird sorta tribute, I reckon, in their own slanderous and gossipy and non-factual ways.

The whole phenomenon is weirdly fascinating in a creepy sort of way. It might be different if it wasn’t just lies, made up crap, and unsubstantiated accusations.

It seems quite an unhealthy obsession. To be so determined to exert control, yet being unwilling to do what’s necessary to achieve ones goals.

Dan complains as if subject to the same treatment he doles out to others. With a strict and ever-changing set of rules under which center-right visitors to his blog must follow, rules intended to suppress that which he finds too difficult to counter, it's simply easier to respond to his corrupt thoughts and positions elsewhere...such as at one's own blog.

Well it’s clear that Dan is inconsistent in how he applies standards at his blog.

I've begun a search of Dan's archives for the period covering Obama's two terms in office in what I believe will be a fruitless search for those posts wherein he attacks Obama, his administration or the Democratic Party for sins and crimes that are far more tangible and impactful for America than the whiny "5000" lies and nostalgic obsession with Trump adulteries. I'm up to 2012 at present and nothing like his Trump hating post exists at all. And he want's to act as if it does not imply that he and his sock puppet find their own flawless by comparison. I'll hopefully be done with my search by tomorrow...particularly if I cease stopping at particular posts to review comments, which is a great time wasting indulgence (I like to reminisce).

It’s worth the search, but you probably won’t find anything. You might find something on his FB page. If you do, it will most likely be something from long after the action he’s critiquing took place.

Considering I've focused my criticism on what he's done on his blog, I restricted my search to that. I have no desire to try to work my way back to Jan 2009 and go through the whole thing again. If he wants to offer that, then perhaps he can produce it for our perusal. I won't hold my breath. In any case, I've finished my search of his blog. I'll post my findings soon....somewhere. Likely both his blog and mine, as he might delete what I post at his.

He “might” delete what you post?

Get this: feo actually is wants to accuse me of being hypocritical over the issue of deleting comments, as if there is some actual parallel between why either you or I have been deleted, and why he has been.

Craig said...

Yes, he’s trying to manufacture some reinterpretation of Dan’s demand (which I knuckled under to) which involves me apologizing for something he made up.

He doesn’t seem to want to acknowledge that the only reason his comments don’t show up is his lack of a detailed plan with specific definitions. It’s simply establishing a standard and sticking to it.

It's strange that I've had to go to moderation of comments to cut down the troll comments, and in the hopes of getting something I've asked for, yet what I've asked for hasn't appeared, and I still get lots of troll comments.

He's pretty much just being petulant, believing he has been justified in all he's done. The thing is, you and I both feel that there is no legitimate reason for having our comments deleted by anyone. They aren't equal claims, of course, as feo's been a complete ass from day one and the current situation is the result of his bad behavior. But he regards himself as superior to us and thus we're not justified in dictating to him how he should act at our own blogs. Dan's not much better and they both complicate this entire blog discussion dynamic by engaging is less than civil and forthright discourse.

In the meantime, feo's really eager to have us read his stuff, either at his blog or elsewhere, as evidenced by his posting at my blog notices of his new posts at his, or his comments Dan's. If he really wanted to engage, he'd swallow his unjustified pride and do as requested. He doesn't seem to understand that no one else gets such treatment because only he acts in the manner he does.

I’ve allowed some pretty nasty stuff to stand on my blog, and some of it’s been from Feo. My problem with this whole thing is the lack of consistency. I’ve been clear about what needs to happen, Feo wants to play the victim. Dan allows his groupie virtually free reign to do all sorts of things he’d delete us for.

If just more of the faux outrage and a desire for victimhood, combined with a desire for control and some weird obsession.

Apparently making incessant troll like comments is now some twisted form of winning.
