The Chyron on CNN tonight read “Out with the old, in with the new”. Under what possible definition is Joe Biden new? This old, rich, white, guy has been feeding at the public trough for damn near half a century and somehow managed to amass millions of dollars in personal wealth as a “public servant”.
New, what a joke.

Not only is there anything new about Joey Plugs, there's nothing new about all the socialist spending he plans on doing, the opening of the borders, the attacks on 1st and 2nd Amendment rights, etc. Nothing new under the sun at all here.
The fact that CNN is shilling for his presidency as something "new" is just their partisan bias showing through.
I suspect that one new thing from the Biden administration will be the quick transition of COVID testing centers to COVID vaccination centers, along with an even bigger rush for more vaccines. This will allow them to claim lower infection numbers, along with higher vaccination numbers, while still demanding that we wear masks.
I also suspect that (as we're seeing in NY and CHI), we'll see a rush to get businesses open as quickly as possible so that the results fall under Biden rather than Trump.
Obviously, I could be wrong about this. But I think that it's definitely possible.
I noticed a couple of weeks ago that the local news stopped showing the graph when they reported the daily COVID numbers. Then I saw why. It's because the graph showed a significant drop that coincided with them choosing not to show the graph on a daily basis.
?
Yes, there will be a rush to get the vaccine out.
Yes, there will be a rush to get vaccinated people back to work.
Yes, it will happen under the Biden administration.
Yes, Trump did allow for the rush on the vaccine (good on him for that much, even though he was fighting the experts everywhere else along the way).
No, Trump did not have a solid plan in place to get the vaccines mass delivered, that is falling to Biden to do and he will.
Trump will get credit for giving the experts the support to get the vaccine done so quickly.
Biden will get credit for the rest, as it will happen under his administration (let's hope, anyway).
And, Trump will get credit for being judged amongst the worst presidents in US history for all the other mess he's made of things and for his playing into ignorant and racist conspiracy theories. If Trump didn't want to be remembered as amongst the worst of US presidents, he should have been a better president.
Such is the way of presidential administrations and recognition.
I understand that certain things cross administrations, but that’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about the potential to switch the metrics (by switching from testing to vaccinating) and trying to give Biden credit for something he wouldn’t have done.
I guess we’ll be giving Biden credit for killing hundreds of blue collar, reasonably high paying, jobs and costing states and the feds tax income as well.
Craig... "Under what possible definition is Joe Biden new? "
Um... the literal one? Biden is literally the new president. Trump was the old one. Right?
Again, Biden's been in government for half a freaking century, he's not new in any way shape or form. Just the same old, same old, policies. I guess starting off by willy nilly buying 11 million DFL voters with citizenship, and putting hundreds of blue collar workers (mostly union) out of jobs, and costing states and federal governments millions of tax dollars.
He's not new, just one more old white guy who got rich as a politician.
He is LITERALLY the new president. No amount of crazy nonsense changes that reality. Biden is the new president. Trump is the old president. Period.
You asked a stupid question and you got a rational answer. Live and learn.
"But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law,
for they are unprofitable and worthless.
As for a person who stirs up division,
after warning him once and then twice,
have nothing more to do with him,
knowing that such a person is warped and sinful;
he is self-condemned."
You been warned once and twice.
Keep stirring up foolish division over nonsense on your own time.
Thanks for pointing out the obvious and using it to obscure the fact that Biden isn’t new to government. It’s hilarious when you proof text stuff like this and accuse people of the behavior you engage in regularly. It’s always funny to see you get all self righteous.
That's called, "embracing grace", Craig.
Biden has a "new" job, where he's going to bring exactly nothing new to the table.
Yeah. Put with the old admin that was effective and beneficial to all Americans, and in with the new admin intent on bringing back every proven failed policy. This 8s what Dan celebrates.
At least we see how effective the Biden administration thins that walls and deploying the national guard are. Too bad they weren't that quick to deploy them last summer.
