I'll post further on this when I have some more resources in a form that I can post them easily, but I've learned one thing over the last three weeks in a class taught by someone who could reasonably be considered an expert on the subject.
There is no possible way to separate the NT language and teaching around atonement from the OT sacrificial system. So much of what is referenced on the subject is directly connected (quoted) from the OT, that to even attempt to exclude the OT sacrificial system from conversations about Jesus' atoning death is simply foolish.
More later.

If you post your expert's name, I could start reading some of his (presumably he's a white conservative evangelical fella?) texts, if they're out there.
What an interesting, if racist, place to start. If we're dismissing people's expertise because they're "white" or "evangelical" than I guess you'd be the first to be dismissed.
I posted the CV of my "expert" a week or so ago. You ignored or missed it. Not my problem.
As to your demands, I think I'll pass. I'll post this material when, where, and how I prefer to do so.
Fortunately for you, most of the material is video so it'll be easy for you to engage with if you choose.
I'll include the link to his recently published "scholarly" book as well. Although I suspect that will be a waste of tile as you've made it clear previously that your willingness to spend money and read books that might disagree with your hunches is incredibly limited.
FWIW, I have no doubt that you'll immediately attack the qualifications of this person, as well as his "gender", ethnicity, and presumed theological background first. That you've done so in the past seems like a good indicator that you'll do so here as well.
the problem that you'll have is that by any definition he is exponentially more of an expert than you are, yet I have no doubt that you'll ignore that (for example his extensive background in Hebrew) in favor of simply asserting that he's wrong and that you're right.
It'll be amusing to watch.
