BoT (Gotta clean out my inbox before heading south)

Looks like a massive waste of money by the P-BO administration.  It'd be interesting to see how the principles of the company made out.   Like so many "green" energy solutions we see that we end up with more crap that must be disposed of and isn't all that friendly to the environment.

No wonder Social Security is going insolvent.  Idiots like this will never contribute enough to the system to make a difference.

This guy was deported and returned FIVE TIMES???????   What in the hell are y'all on the left defending?

Interesting data on school shootings.

Pedos are the next group for the DFL to use to advance their narrative of oppression.

Interesting, a left wing guest on a left wing news network (although one of the  "revered" practitioners of "real journalism") agrees that DOGE is having success.

Yup, this is Tim Walz Minnesota.  Maybe if he spent more time doing the job he's getting paid for, and actually led his caucus in the legislature, we wouldn't see quite as much of this recidivism.  This level of depravity falls squarely on the leadership of MN and the "justice system" they operate than on anyone else.  Where is the "justice" for the victims?

From his lips to God's ears.

It's hilarious to see the DFL become the party that supports rich corroborate profits, and oligarchs.

VDH FTW

So trump posts an AI generated picture of him as the pope and both the faux Catholics and the left freak out.   There's all sorts of outrage and wondering what would happen if the tables were turned.  Well now we know.   FYI, I wasn't a huge fan of Trump's post, but I understand that it was likely intended as humorous.

Strangely, the double standard doesn't even occur to them.

All solar fields are a waste of tax dollars. If someone wants to use solar let THEM pay for it. It’s horrid to subsidize via taxes.

“Time blindness”—you’ve got to be kidding. How about just being responsible.

Rapists and murders from other countries should be summarily executed. Period.

The data on drugs vs school shootings should be broadcast LOUD AND CLEAR!! We know a young man on them and he is whacked out.

Pedophilia. LEFTISTs are focused on every facet of sexual perversion.

50 prior arrests and he’s out walking around?!?! The LEFTIST legal system does this over and over and call in social justice,

Trump claims he didn’t post the photo of him as pope and suggested it was the media. But yeh, where was the outcry with Obama as the Messiah?

I could see some rare, theoretical, circumstances where public financing of solar could be appropriate but most of these projects end up enriching cronies of the administration which is giving out money.

Definitely, use an alarm clock. This is what we get for making everything a "medical condition".

I've got no problem with executing all rapists and murderers.

Yeah, the effects of the rash of prescription drugs for these kinds of things should be more widely known. It's just easier to blame guns.

Yup, pedos are next in line for "legitimacy".

The people's republic does have a bit of a revolving door for some criminals.

The pope pic was in poor taste (mostly timing), as were the P-BO pics. The problem is that it's acceptable to mock every religion but one.

It's interesting that of all of the government financed "green" projects during the P-BO years, that Tesla was the only one that has succeeded without ongiong funding, and that paid everything back.

Despite my own revulsion at the concept of rape, if there is no death of a victim, then capital punishment is no appropriate. Currently, I'm unaware of any crime not involving the death of a victim for which one is sentenced to death. The line is life. Take it and yours if forfeit.

However, if the perpetrator might be victim of an accident on the way to the precinct house...well, that would be unfortunate.

I'm fine with either death or life without parole for rape. I think that there is a case to be made that rape could be equal to or worse than murder in that a rape victim has to live with the violation.

I do agree that the best situation is that the rapist resists arrest and needs to be put down.

What's strange is that we know that the vast majority of all violent/property crimes are caused by a very small percentage of the population. We could literally cut crime (violent/property) by 30%+ ( I saw the stats last week, but can't remember exactly) just be removing a relatively small percentage of the population (obviously convicted criminals) from society after their first or second offense.

The guy who's enjoyed the revolving door of the MN injustice system, is a great example.

All victims of crimes of any kind have to live with being a victim. The more violent the crime, the more one has to overcome emotionally and psychologically. But to move from the current standard of CP for those who literally end the lives of others to crimes where no killing has taken place makes it easier to add other crimes worthy of death. That is, as egregious a crime as rape or child abuse is...and that would be VERY egregious..., it's not murder which is by far the worst of all. All who survive a violent attack can learn to cope with the memory of it. I just think it's too risky to add non-lethal attacks and crimes and not expect that the list won't grow from there in time.

Rape used to be a capital crime in Europe and also the USA in many states. I agree with Craig as to how the victim of rape is affected. If rapists were executed there'd be fewer rapes.
