The release of the book about Biden's cognitive decline, the release of the Tur tapes, and the news that Biden has cancer have produced an interesting confluence of events. It doesn't seem unreasonable to conclude that the cancer news being released is related to, and to distract from, the other two events. Part of the benefit to the MSM in focusing on the cancer story is that it diverts attention from the MSM failures on the cognitive decline story. I personally feel bad for Biden and his family as they deal with him mental and physical decline, yet they also bear some responsibility for the situation we find ourselves in now.
A while back I called for some sort of cognitive testing for those running for public office and I still think that should be the case. It was argued (and is persuasive based on current law and the constitution) that people should be allowed to elect a brain dead invalid to office if they want. Biden, Pelosi, McConnell and others are examples of this phenomenon. People electing those who have no business being in government for unknown reasons. I'm sympathetic to the argument, but more sympathetic to ridding our government of those people.

It's incredible. While I have no particular sympathy for Biden directly...he was never the more decent, more intelligent, more capable option for president than Trump whom morons like Dan dared suggested...I've no desire to see him endure what will likely mean his demise.
But between his obvious dementia...obvious from before his campaigning for president in 2020...and his cancer...present since before his campaigning for president in 2020 most likely...he's been ill used by both his family and his party. But only stupid people could ever believe he should've been in government long enough to even be considered for president in any of the previous years he vied for the party nomination.
The party lied. The left-leaning media lied. His supporters have always lied. Only card carrying useful idiots for the party will continue to support this party and anyone they promote for any office. I think Dan's president of his local chapter of "Useful Idiots For the Demokrat Party". He likely has their decoder ring and lunch box.
