Bill M Makes A Good Point

He's got a point.  But even beyond his excellent point is the fact that we are seeing all of these behaviors increasing in the US and Western Europe.  So it's not even like the NIMBYs don't have an excuse.

Maher is still clearly pretty far left. His goal is to rescue the liberal movement from the far left extremist, woke, ideologues and return the DFL to "sanity". I disagree with him on many things, and would never support his version of the DFL. But he does do a good job of pointing out how extremely far left the current DFL/ASPL has gone and the idiocy that they promote. When he makes a good point, it's worthy of sharing.

Beware, the lyrics to WAP are going to be offensive, so proceed with caution. However, both is these are pretty funny.

The second one points out the insanity of trying to cancel Baby It's Cold, when WAP is so incredibly popular.

Listen at your own risk.

I knew some of these new "artists" were crude, but, wow! They make sex to be dirty, disgusting, when it is supposed to be beautiful union of married couple. These people have no morals, nor do those who listen to this trash and pay money to hear it.

The language has certainly gotten more crude and descriptive, but the sentiment hasn't changed much since the '60s. The bigger issue IMO is Christians who expect non Christians to act like Christians. These are people who are no believers and they are acting exactly as Scripture tells us to expect.

That isn't to say that we shouldn't speak into the culture, but that we should do so in ways that point to the salvation available in Jesus.

I don't expect non-Christians to act like Christians. It's just that for this stuff to be at half-time when families are watching, should be unconscionable even to heathen. I was shown a video of the show and it is pagan debauchery and people are praising it!!! The whole show was a worship of illicit sex. I'd expect this at a concert where people usually know what they are getting in to but at a national event?!?! Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

I'm not saying that you do, but that there is a general sense among Christians about behavior.

I agree that it was a poor choice, but heathens gonna heathen.
