While this is getting press here in the area, I've not seen near the outrage nationwide that this should be generating. It couldn't be because it doesn't fit the narrative for shootings. African , Muslim, immigrant shoots and kills a cop in an ambush isn't what the MSM wants to cover.

It seems likely that the details of this shooting will probably disappear from the media if the shooters are not white.

Your first link is broke. Your second link does not mention the shooter as being identified (much less, as being an African Muslim immigrant). When I google Akron shooting, I don't get any details about the shooter. NPR reports:
No arrests have been made and police do not have any suspects, Harding said.
The Fox News outlet in Akron didn't have any information on the shooter as recently as two hours ago (6pm).
Where are your "details" coming from?
Is it possible you are reporting "facts" which don't exist, yet?
I've just heard tonight about this cop shooting by an illegal from Venezuela. His name is telling. His last name suggests one who kills, and he's also named after assholes...or at least has the same name as assholes. But I'm sure he was here to satisfy his self-determination, so he's way cool.

FYI, MPR is short for Minnesota Public Radio, an affiliate of NPR which you venerate as one of the news sources that is always right.

I'd suggest that MPR (the local public radio outlet) which listed the name of the primary suspect, might be a better source than an NPR reporter in another city.

My "details" about the MPLS shooting are from MPR, I've offered no "details" about the OH shooting other than the fact that it happened and the anti 2A folks have remained silent about it.

One interesting bit of news on the MPLS shooting, per KARE 11 10:00 PM newscast last night, is that the reason Mitchell was on the scene of this amubush is because the MPD is so short on officers after the 2020 rioting and defund the police movement, that MPD officers are required to do mandatory overtime to make up the shortfall. Further, the MPD sent Mitchell out in an area he usually didn't patrol, without a partner.

Based on your information, Craig, it seems I mistook this story of an illegal killing cops to another recent story of an illegal from Venezuela killing cops. Hard to keep them all straight. All that matters is their self-determination. That's the main thing according to stupid people from Jeff St.
