This was the last presidential candidate from the party that consistently whines about democracy. This sounds much more like changing the rules to give your party an advantage.

Each time a Democrat politician speaks, I once again become obsessed with determining which one is the stupidest. I don't say this to be glib. It's a serious conundrum...not for me, but for the Democrat voters. Are they really this stupid that they would think a Kamala Harris, a Joe Biden, an AOC, Gavin Newsome, JB Pritzker, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Barack Obama....any from that party as it is now constituted...is a better choice than Donald Trump????
Right now, I see Rubio, Vance or DeSantis as the likely front runners for '28, and no Dem comes close to any of these dudes! I watch Congressional and Senatorial hearings on YouTube and I'm absolutely dumbfounded at just how stupid they are in trying to posture as intellectually superior to those they question.
As we see all sorts of redistricting activity and intentions now that the Supremes have ruled against the gerrymandering of the Democrats, we still cannot rest on our laurels and assume the benefit to America of increased GOP representation which should result is automatic. Rationally, it must only be seen as a mitigating factor in balancing out the negative effects of the rising costs due to the necessary bitch-slapping of the Iranian mullah regime...all of which will revert when the conflict is ended.
The second video is an example of one whose eyes have truly been opened. Dropping support for the Dems/socialists is good enough, though a complete conversion to goodness and righteousness...or at least to conservatism, which is about as close as many will get...is a good thing.
Maher continues to "seem" like he gets it, but in reality he just wants the Dems to do what they do in a less stupid way...which is still stupid and destructive.
Yeah, Maher and a few others do want the DFL to moderate and come back from the fringe. Potentially to the point where there can actually be negotiations and principled compromise in our legislative process.
