I wonder

I wonder if the anti-Trump crowd can support him in his position on the resistance in Iran?

I wonder if the anti-Trump crowd can admit that the increasing number of companies who are raising wages, giving bonuses, and promising billions of dollars of spending, is an objectively good thing for their employees and the economy?

I wonder if the anti/Trump crowd can acknowledge the objective facts regarding the continuously improving economy?

I wonder if the anti-Trump crowd can acknowledge that the actions of this administration have contributed to the economic growth?

The reason I wonder these things, is that for all the negative things that happened during the P-BO years, even his detractors were able to acknowledge the fact that positive things happened.

Though for the life of me, I can't seem to recall what any of them were. OH, WAIT!! Because of Obama we ended up with a GOP majority in both houses. Is that what you meant?

As to the point of the post, I've been planning a post highlighting all the positive things Trump has accomplished in his first year. This was a good start. Over at Dan's, he's listed a few negative things that exist mostly in his mind and the minds of libs in general, but drew no hard lines between anything he's done to any tangible harm. I continue to wait.

My point isn’t so much that POTUS should get exclusive credit or blame, but that the folks who touted various economic indicators to pump up P-BO should evaluate Trump by the same measure.

No doubt. It’s the same thing elwe endured with feo over the crime rate. The very graph he used to pretenf Obama made us safer should have indicted him as well as the direction reversed during his last two years.

The left won't give an inch nor acknowledge any positives from right-wing policies, and certainly nothing of Trump's.

I wonder if folks will acknowledge and support Trump in how he’s handling Iran, and acknowledge the possibility that P-BO might not have made good choices with Iran.

There must be some real, obvious and tangible results before any lefty or NeverTrumper will give him credit...and that's still no guarantee. Like Dan, they just hate him too much.

Yet there are real tangible results in the economy...

Sure, Craig. YOU know that, and I know that and many others do as well. But haters gotta hate, and they'll pretend it's the result of Obama policies, despite no evidence during his time in office that they were beneficial, nor despite being unable to draw a line between them and the current results.

It’s an unwillingness to differentiate between the person and the acts of the person.
