Stupid,lazy, idiotic

I’ve noticed a trend recently (most recently on the left) that believes that if you point out allegations or acts of a politician from party X, that you automatically and uncritically support the allegations against or actions engaged in by any and all possible opponents of that politician.

The problem with this absurd way of responding is that it’s stupid, lazy, idiotic, intellectually dishonest, and indicative of a double standard.

In our local situation we have a CD that has elected two consecutive representatives who have multiple credible allegations of criminal behavior against them, and half of them are stupid.    This is a district that’s not interested in electing anyone who doesn’t fit the proper profile.

The reality is that talking about “candidates” challenging the incumbent from other parties 11 months before the filing deadline and over a year from the primary is simply pointless and foolish.   It’s simply a smokescreen to try to divert attention from the underreported antics of the current officeholder.

You're right. It IS stupid, lazy and idiotic. That's why no one serious on the Left thinks this way.

On the other hand, your side full of white evangelicals have pledged your troth to the pervert liar conman in the white house and any who oppose him are cast out and tore down.

What IS wrong with modern "conservatism" and why have modern evangelicals given up all pretense of decency, honesty, integrity and reason?

That's the question you all need to answer.

Remove the log from your own eye before you try to remove the speck from the other.

Dammit, had I not deleted a bunch of comments I could prove you wrong.

Oh, wait....

You actually did exactly this, and your blog has multiple comments demonstrating this very phenomenon.

Damn, it sucks when reality whacks you like this.

FYI, despite your overreacting, I certainly didn’t claim that this is exclusively a phenomenon of the left.

The evidence is literally at your blog.

It's certainly a trend that Dan rides with glee. If one is happy about the good things Trump has done, and as a result supports his presidency, then in Dan's small and hate-filled mind, one supports every sinful thing Trump has done in his life. I don't really care what an immoral person like Dan thinks if he's going to be so hypocritical and deceitful with such willingness. Where Trump may have engaged in sin, Dan actually promotes sin. Supporting Trump's work as president is in no way promoting every sinful thing he may or may not have done, no matter how badly a morally bankrupt Dan Trabue desperately needs it to be.

It’s a simplistic, childish way to demonize your opponent without actually providing substance.

Apparently the title has prompted some confusion, I’m not asking for more stupid comments.

Re "No liberals ever do this"

I just deleted a comment that literally said "But Trump and Kushner" Dan either lives in a total vacuum regarding what his folx are doing or he just has ceased to care about facts.

Then where are getting the info? Are we just making it up? Imagining it? Dan would say we are...and does so, basically, accusing us of delusion as often as he does (because that's such an intelligent rebuttal). Yet, offer a link and he dismisses it...doesn't even read it most time before doing so. Truth, facts, reality...those things don't work for Dan.

I don’t think Dan has ever shown any indication that he’s actually read any link I’ve ever provided. He’s certainly never actually interacted with or rebutted any link I’ve ever provided.

This is just one more tactic to avoid interacting with reality. Nothing I’ve mentioned is obscure or hard to find, he’s too lazy to look for himself and too stubborn to read what I’ve provided in the past.

Given that reality, I say that it’s a waste of my time to spoon feed him information.
