Trust

It would seem that we placing trust in either the CDC or the mainstream media might not always be the wisest course.

Of course the CDC has excuses for why they withheld data.

Of course the mainstream media has excuses for not investigating further, and digging deeper.

Unfortunately, the deception of the CDC and the failure of the MSM has made the damage caused by the response to COVID worse.  If we can't expect to get all of the information that the CDC has available, then we can't expect leadership to make informed decisions.

And that's assuming leadership would use the info to improve our lot.

It seems like it's a given that the information was withheld for a reason. It seems reasonable that the reason was intended to further a particular narrative or agenda. It seems reasonable that there was concern that "too much" information would cause problems for some people accepting what they were told.

But the CDC and the MSM are "experts". we must believe and trust them.

Yet, somehow the sources guilty of such withholding are not enemies of the people. At this point it's clear we can add the CDC and NIH as enemies as well.
