What Happened to the $$$$$$$

Karmelo Anthony stabbed a white high school student at a track meet.  Karmelo claimed that the other student provoked him.  Karmelo got to go through his graduation ceremony, and raised over $500,000 for his legal defense fund.   Strangely, Karmelo's family went on a bit of a shopping spree as the $$$$$$ came rolling in.

Then video comes out which casts serious doubt on Karmelo's story, and he's charged with murder.   News came out the other day that Karmelo needs a public defender.   What happened to the $$$$$$?

Dude should probably just plead guilty and get this over with.

This reminds me of another instance where people raised large sums of money based on what happened to a black criminal, that money pretty much is unaccounted for as well.

Maybe we need some sort of oversight of these fund raising campaigns to make sure that the money is used for it's intended purpose.

Glastonbury, Where Stupidity, Entitlement, Blindness, and Irony Gather (Updated)

 https://x.com/kingbobiiv/status/1939055692440314162?s=51&t=cLq01Oy84YkmYPZ-URIMYw

"Glastonbury 2025. A festival so "free-spirited" it’s surrounded by a 13ft fence, armed security, ID checks, and its own holding pen for border breaches. All run by the very people who tell the rest of us "borders are racist." Pay £380-a-head tickets for the privileged few to play revolution, sipping oat lattes in £1,000 bell tents while chanting "From the river to the sea"—a call for Jewish genocide—and calling anyone who questions them a Nazi. The same crowd cheering Hamas, who invaded Israel on 7/10, murdering over a thousand civilians—many of them peace-loving communists in kibbutzim, and young people at a music festival, just like this one. These self-proclaimed pacifists cheer for religious fascists who literally dragged women through the streets and beheaded civilians. But sure, let’s hold hands and blame “colonialism.” They claim to be anti-capitalist, while spending £millions to throw a week-long rave on farmland. They produce over 2,000 tonnes of waste—the equivalent of 250 double-decker buses of garbage—then wave Extinction Rebellion flags and tell working-class Brits to give up meat and heating. They scream “Down with the patriarchy!” while defending the most misogynistic religion on Earth, where women can’t vote, drive, or leave the house without permission—and that's before we get to the stoning and FGM. They demand veganism, while celebrating halal slaughter. They wave Pride flags, then shout “Inshallah”, defending regimes where gay men are hanged, lesbians are raped, and trans people disappear. They’re the first to cry “Nazi” at anyone with a different opinion, but not one of them has marched for the slaughtered Christians of Nigeria, the persecuted women of Iran, the oppressed minorities of Syria, or the ethnic cleansing in Armenia. Their “tolerance” only extends to those who agree with them. Their “compassion” ends where their values begin. It’s a delusional playground for champagne socialists, fuelled by ignorance, narcissism, and biodegradable glitter. Just sing your silly little songs, zip up your designer tents, and fuck off home. You’re not warriors. You’re tourists."

The level of irony and entitlement exhibited at Glastonbury is astounding.

The waving of "Palestinian" flags at a music festival is in incredibly bad taste.

The "no borders" shtick is hilarious at an event surrounded by a border wall/fence designed to keep people out who didn't pay the exorbitant ticket prices.   The "I don't see any borders" sign ON A LITERAL BORDER is an example of the complete stupidity of so many on the left.

Mea Culpa, Sort Of (Updated)

I am still not convinced that ACB was as good of a selection as people thought at the time, and some of her rulings seem to support this conclusion.

However giving credit where credit is due, this one line in her dissent attacking Justice Jackson is brutal, short, and effective.   Maybe this is a small ray of hope for ACB as a more conservative voice on the court.

Terms Matter

"A pregnant woman lost her baby after ICE refused to give her prenatal care. She begged for help and was denied. She was fed food full of cockroaches. She was forced to sleep on the floor. This is absolutely disgusting and we should all be outraged."

Pramila Jaypal

Let's start off with the obvious, anyone in custody in the US should receive appropriate medical attention, nutritious food, and clean water. That's not what this post is about, it's under investigation, and pointless to speculate about.  No woman should ever have to go through a miscarriage, and I genuinely sympathize with her pain and distress.

What this is about is the hypocrisy and idiocy in Jaypal's statement.

1. "pregnant woman" Not "birthing person" or any of the other idiotic bullshit we hear from the ABC folx, "pregnant woman". She probably can't define woman, and if pressed, would deny that only women can get pregnant. But when it's necessary to push a narrative, the Truth comes out.

2. "her baby" I'm sorry, I'm confused. For years I've been beaten over the head by people insisting that the thing inside of a birthing person's uterus was anything but a "baby". It's a fetus, a foetus, a clump of cells, or a parasite, but never a "baby". Again, when it's necessary for a narrative the bullshit language games stop because they know that "A pregnant woman lost her baby" is going to get the most emotional reaction.

To be blunt, everyone knows that only women can get pregnant, and that this woman was pregnant with a baby. She miscarried for reasons that I am unaware of at this juncture. It's a sad story, being used and framed by Jaypal for political reasons. Which makes it even more sad.

Stupidity on Parade

 https://x.com/defiantls/status/1937522547429659054?s=51&t=cLq01Oy84YkmYPZ-URIMYw

Watch this exchange with Rep Tlaib and explain to me how someone this stupid got elected to congress.  Her "supply driven" v. "demand driven" terms are simply two ways to say the same thing.   That she is ignorant of the fact that Fed rates don't really affect mortgage rates.   The primary drivers of the lack of affordable housing are costs of materials and government regulations.   When you are building an affordable home and you spend $75-100,000 in fees before you even dig the hole, it's impossible to make that house affordable.

This is What the ASPL is Supporting

As the flags and protests have changed from supporting Ukraine, to Gaza, to Hamas and now to Iran, who would ever have thought that Western liberals would sink to this level of depravity.

https://x.com/councillorsuzie/status/1936709392407142907?s=51&t=cLq01Oy84YkmYPZ-URIMYw

It is absolutely amazing to see the ASPL go whole hog into supporting one of the most evil, harmful, anti progressive regimes on earth.   Especially given their loathing of nuclear weapons.   This wholesale betrayal of everything they claim to hold dear is both disgusting and hilarious at the same time.   The feminists who support women being forced into Chador and being treated like chattel  especially disgust me.

"Today, we Iranians are faced with something truly unbelievable: Western, liberal, “woke” feminists, clueless about the brutal reality in our country, consistently stand with our oppressors under the delusion of saviorism. They have no understanding of the decades of humiliation, violence, and systemic oppression we’ve endured under the Islamic Republic. Driven by their own need to feel morally superior, they claim to fight for justice while turning a blind eye to the suffering of millions. And let’s be honest, they are some of the most racist voices out there. They look at Iranians and other “brown people” as too backward, too uncivilized, too dumb to deserve real freedom or democracy. In their eyes, we’re wild animals, only manageable under tyranny. But here’s the truth: we are the ones fighting for real freedom, the same freedom they weaponize to silence us. And we want absolutely nothing to do with their hypocrisy."

This is an interesting idea.  If a country is so bad that US citizens are warned not to travel there, do we really want citizens of that country to come here?

https://x.com/jonatanpallesen/status/1936685778077168091?s=51&t=cLq01Oy84YkmYPZ-URIMYw

This is pretty important.  Much like Europe put the brakes on the wholesale "transing" of children long before the US even considered it, we are now seeing European countries get real about the effects of immigration and be honest about the outcomes.

 https://x.com/realmaalouf/status/1936747610817101967?s=51&t=cLq01Oy84YkmYPZ-URIMYw

I've heard variations of this for a while now, but it totally makes sense.   Iran fell when Carter was president, P-BO and Biden filled Iran's coffers with pallets of cash, and we're watching the ASPL fall all over themselves to defend a regime that is the complete opposite of everything they claim to value.

 https://x.com/romanhelmetguy/status/1936093076692324427?s=51&t=cLq01Oy84YkmYPZ-URIMYw

For some reason PBS (that paragon of unbiased, evenhanded, real journalism) aired a program about Thomas Jefferson and Muslims.   Inexplicably they left out the one actual piece of evidence of what Jefferson's experience with Muslims was.   Wouldn't want to upset the narrative about Islam.

Seems like he might be pretty smart

War Powers

There's been a lot of uproar over Trump's decision to bomb Iran's nuclear weapons manufacturing facilities.   One of the major "arguments" against Trump's action is that he lacks constitutional authority to do so.  Another is that Iran hasn't killed enough US citizens.   The final one I've heard is that Iran has illegally smuggled "sleeper teams" across the border over the last 4 years and that this might cause Iran to set them loose.

I'll deal with the last one first.   If Iran has inserted "sleeper teams" into the US with the intent of engaging in attacks on US targets, that in itself is justification for an preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.  A nuclear Iran could set loose these "sleeper teams" with impunity if they had nuclear weapons and the ability to deliver them.  That this argument is an implicit acknowledgement of the failure of Biden's border policy also seems like a bad choice to hang your hat on.

The US hasn't had a congressional declaration of war since WW2,  and yet we've been involved in multiple wars since then.   This is simply a manifestation of TDS and a failure to acknowledge that an Iran with nuclear weapons is a threat to the planet.  That so many on the left fail to be consistent on this issue is not surprising.

"MY PARTY IS WRONG. My Democratic party comes after my Americanism, my Judaism and my principles. And my party is dead wrong on Iran. Diplomacy failed for 46 years — Iran murdered Americans around the world and targeted Israel for another Holocaust. The strikes are justified."

"I served on the National Security Council under President Clinton. I was Joe Biden’s Deputy Staff Director of the Senate foreign Relations Committee. I voted for Kamala Harris and have been a vocal critic of many dangerous and undemocratic actions taken by President Trump. But I’m not a blind tribalist and am perfectly comfortable praising President Trump for bold and courageous actions in support of America’s core national interests, as he took last night. Iran has been at war with the United States for 46 years. Its regime has murdered thousands of American citizens. Its slogan “death to America“ was not window dressing but core ideology. It was racing toward a nuclear weapon with every intention of using it to threaten America, our allies, and the Middle East region as a whole. No actions like this come without risks, and I imagine the story will get more complicated over time, but that’s why these types of decisions are complicated. Although I believe electing Kamala Harris would have been better for our democracy, society, and economy, as well as for helping the most vulnerable people in the United States and around the world, I also believe VP Harris would not have had the courage or fortitude to take such an essential step as the president took last night."

 https://x.com/danturrentine/status/1936724740644749574?s=51&t=cLq01Oy84YkmYPZ-URIMYw

"It was too depressing to write this last night, after we got off air, so I went to bed. But, it needs to be said by more Democrats: this was not an impeachable offense, and Trump did not need congressional approval for one precision attack under the circumstances, just as Obama did not when striking Bin Laden. Why can’t our Party just say it’s great we achieved the objective and destroyed Iran’s nuclear sites, god bless the soldiers who carried this out and made it home safely, god bless our country, military, allies, and we look forward to a full intel briefing. 🇺🇸. If one must then assert Congressional authority at the moment, add that any escalation will require congressional approval. And if you must, express concern for where this may go and what might come next. But, for so many in my Party to knee jerk with unhinged calls for impeachment - and sadly omit in their statement support for Iran not having nuclear weapons, which has been a principle of our Party for 40 years -is truly TDS."

"I despise war and have become more skeptical on U.S. intervention after witnessing the quagmire in Iraq and Afghanistan. I’m obviously disgusted by the weird war fetish of people like Lindsey Graham. But also, it’s childish to act like non-intervention is some kind of iron law that must be applied without exception, or that all countries and situations are the same. It’s also wrong to act like Israel is some uniquely evil entity, that Iran isn’t a threat to us, or that Israel’s interests don’t align with ours whatsoever. Foreign policy is the one area we all have equal chance of getting wrong, no matter our ideology. I trust Trump because he hates war, but he’s also a realist. It actually does matter who is doing the “intervening.” He’s done a better job with this stuff than any other president in my lifetime, and I think we have a good shot at some real stability with him at the helm."

More than 50% of high-profile scientific findings cannot be independently reproduced by other scientists. Lab research is the worst, with irreproducibility for top publications reaching nearly 90%. This is a waste of more than $28,000,000,000 from taxpayers in America alone.

For years we've heard that Science has all the answers, that peer reviewed studies were the be all and end all, and that we must listen to the experts.  Well, it seems like we've ignored the simple fact that repeatability is one of the  major parts of the Scientific Method.    Maybe we shouldn't make such a big deal over Scientific findings until they can reliably be repeated.

This NYT article has gotten a lot of press this week, and rightfully so.  D'Souza hits the nail on the head with his "A woman needs a man..." quote.   There's plenty of good comedy based on men not being quick to pick up on signals from women, but after a  few decades of being told that men aren't needed, that women would prefer a bear, and that masculinity is "toxic", maybe men have gotten the message loud and clear.

Unconfirmed

It is being reported that the MN shooter has sent a letter to the FBI, in which he blames Walz among other things.   As it hasn't been covered by any credible news sources, I hesitate to provide links.

What I will say is that, if this is True, that it moves him firmly out of every camp except one.   That camp is the crazy camp.

Strangely enough, this makes the update to my earlier post look somewhat prescient.

Let's get this straight.  There are ASPL and DFL elected officials who are ready and willing to protest against the arrest of child molesters (and facilitate the escape of said suspect), drug cartels who dabble in human trafficking, and physically attack LE in the process.

Jail them all, quickly.

Oh NOW y'all are concerned about veterans who are homeless, hungry, or suffering.   Tens of millions of illegal aliens come before our veterans and have for years, but a parade that was planned during the Biden administration to honor that millions of US Army veterans and active duty soldiers who have and will fight your your right to post stupid shit like this, is crossing some imaginary line.

Hey if we could get back the $550,000,000 that those ASPLs scammed from USAID we could offset the parade cost and be ahead by $505,000,000.   Yet y'all wanted to keep shoveling USAID money out the door to be stolen.

---------

The multiple levels of dumb in this post are almost enough to convince me that it is satire, but there are so many stupid people out there who might think this is a good idea that I'm just not sure.

Leaving aside the inherent discrimination, oppression, and insanity (men who pretend to be women are in, boys born there are expelled), let's be practical for a minute.   How many of these women will want to do the jobs that are overwhelmingly held by men in the real world?   Does their commitment run as far as not engaging in commerce with the normal word because things might be built, farmed, or sold by men?

Just watch clips from The View for a preview of coming attractions of this Lord of the Flies esque nightmare.

Help, I'm Being Repressed

 https://x.com/realmaalouf/status/1936077264795341242?s=51&t=cLq01Oy84YkmYPZ-URIMYw

It's strange how many people will fight for the right of Muslim men to force women to wear this crap pretending like it's some  cultural thing.   No, it's literally the opposite.  It's forcing people to abandon their cultural heritage to conform to Islamic repressive bullshit.

USAID

Remember when everyone got all worked up because they shut off the money spigot at USAID, well maybe they were wrong.   It's looking like there actually was fraud there.   I don't know but I think it was probably a good idea to pull the plug and evaluate before any more cash got wasted.

Social Security

With the recent release of a report claiming that Social Security will be insolvent if a few years, I can't help but wonder why the income cap is so low.  It seems like $176,000 as the cut off to pay into Social Security is incredibly low.   I can't help but think that raising the cap to $1,000,000 in income wouldn't make sense.

Beyond simply saying that we don't want more taxes, what it the rationale for keeping the limit so low.

I'd prefer not to pay more taxes either, but I'm thinking that an insolvent Social Security system is probably going to cost taxpayers quite a bit as well.

For The Win

This image, all alone, gets to the heart of the hypocrisy of the ASPL.   They cosplay fictional characters, while supporting the societies and cultures that actually do oppress women, and completely lack the self awareness to understand how stupid this looks.    The Handmaid's Tale is a fictional book, intended to make a specific point.  The plot and characters were intentionally crafted essentially as propaganda, not reality.  (I guess the book could have been pointed at the situation in the lower half of the meme, but I doubt it)   The ASPL is so incredibly worked up about making sure that 1st world mothers can kill their children at any time for their own inconvenience, that they ignore the oppression that walks the streets of almost every city in the US.   They'll fight like hell for abortion (even when it's for things like sex selection or eugenics), but not bother to say a word about cultures that make women second class citizens.

The ASPL would have so much more credibility on things like this if they'd fight to protect the real women on the lower half of the meme, rather than the made up women on the upper half.

We know why they won't fight the real battle, it's because they're scared.

UNBIASED and OBJECTIVE

 https://x.com/derrickevans4wv/status/1935122285389824357?s=51&t=cLq01Oy84YkmYPZ-URIMYw

Back in the previous century, in the very first class I took on my way to a degree in Broadcasting/Journalism/Mass Media, made one thing perfectly clear.    It was beaten into us that reporters were to be UNBIASED in their reporting.  That OBJECTIVITY in reporting was the cornerstone and bedrock of journalism and our foremost goal.

A few years later, as my cousin was getting her similar degree, I asked her why she wanted to go into journalism.   Her answer, "I want to change things and affect outcomes.".    Which seems (at least somewhat) to contradict the mandate of UNBIASED OBJECTIVITY.    Obviously OBJECTIVE UNBIASED journalism can bring change, but that sort of change is not agenda driven.   The change was not the purpose of the journalism, but a byproduct.

When an allegedly UNBIASED and OBJECTIVE reporter for one of the "revered" MSM outlets that does "real journalism", says this publicly, I'm thinking that the days of OBJECTIVE and UNBIASED journalism are dwindling if not gone.

I've mentioned that my cousin is involved in a project intended to increase trust in journalists before.  I'd argue that the best way to accomplish this would be to return to OBJECTIVE and UNBIASED  reporting as the standard journalistic practice.

Bait or Switch?

 https://www.nytimes.com/2025/06/15/us/amy-coney-barrett-supreme-court.html

I know I supported her nomination, and I know she voted correctly to overturn Roe, but I definitely believe that  there has been some bait and switch going on with Barrett.

Somehow

I've somehow been blessed by the algorithm by having my Twitter feed filled with stuff about marriage.    I saw something this morning about "marital rape".   Now, as a Christian, I look at scripture to see if it has any suggestions about how to have healthy and God honoring marriage.   What I see there is that husbands are called to sacrificial love for their wives, and spouses are called to mutual submission.   I see Christ using marriage as a picture of The Church.   Given those things, I fail to see how anyone could believe that "marital rape" (or coercion, etc) has a place in a Christian marriage.  It literally seems like this behavior should be anathema a Christian marriage.   Likewise, when I see women arguing that it is acceptable to withhold sex in order to force their husbands to do things, I conclude that this behavior is not what a marriage looks like in scripture.     Yet, we're all sinners and we screw up, then we apologize ask for/give forgiveness and we move forward.

But, that's not really what struck me.  What struck me is the notion the relationship between YHWH and marriage.   It's said that YHWH "blesses marriage".    Certainly if we look at scripture we see that marriage is a good thing, instituted by YHWH for the benefit of both spouses.  Often at weddings the pastor will talk about marriage as a covenant between the spouses and YHWH, that we don't just make vows to our spouse but also to YHWH.   As I noted, marriage is  used as an illustration of the relationship between Christ and The Church, which leads me to conclude that YHWH does have strong feelings about marriage.

So, is all marriage created equal in the eyes of YHWH?    Is the marriage solemnized by a bush in CO viewed in exactly the same way as one in a church?   Is the second, third, fifth, or tenth marriage of one man to multiple wives "blessed" in the same way as that between one man and one women before YHWH?    Is the marriage between a 30 year old man and a 9 year old girl really "blessed" by YHWH?   Is a marriage where everyone involved rejects the existence of YHWH "blessed" by the very God they deny?   Can it really be argued that YHWH "blesses" the marriage of an abusive spouse?  Are there degrees of marriages being "blessed" by YHWH?    Is a marriage between two atheists somehow  more "blessed" than the two atheists cohabitating?   Does YHWH really "bless" a marriage where the wife is forced to cover herself from head to toe and lives a second class existence?   Conversely, does YHWH really "bless" a marriage where the wife makes money on OF by engaging is sexual behavior for money or on IG wearing little or no clothing?   As YHWH mentions, one aspect of marriage is to "be fruitful and multiply".   Does He then "bless" marriages when spouses choose not to have children?  Does YHWH bless a marriage between a human and a plant, a dog, or AI?

I'm struck by this dichotomy.  YHWH clearly speaks through scripture about marriage.  He clearly has thoughts, boundaries, involvement, in marriages and chose to use marriage as the very picture of His relationship with His Church.    Yet, there is an expectation that YHWH will automatically "bless" any relationship that humans label as marriage, regardless of whether or not that marriage aligns with YHWH's intention or design for marriage.

I personally do not see how YHWH could "bless" a marriage when a husband chooses not to love his wife in a sacrificial and self sacrificial manner, or in numerous other circumstances.    Yet, YHWH absolutely can redeem those who do not engage in self sacrificial love and mutual submission, and can then "bless" that marriage.    In short, I do not see how a claim that YHWH "blesses" every single relationship that humans refer to as marriage.    I guess it's possible that He does "bless" all marriage, but I can't seem how it could be argued that He blesses and abusive marriage in the same way as a marriage based on self sacrifice and mutual submission.

Finally, it should be obvious that I'm not talking about marriages where spouses sometimes screw up.   I'm not talking about marriages where spouses choose to do things that dishonor the marriage and their spouse, but acknowledge those things and sincerely ask for forgiveness.   No one and no marriage is perfect, yet it does seem safe to conclude that some are closer to perfect and closer to YHWH's intention than others.    If that is the case, it also seems foolish to conclude that YHWH doesn't "bless" those more perfect marriages more or differently than others.

"If you think the assassination of a foreign leader is the way to resolve differences, it’s not hard to understand how his followers might believe it is ok domestically.

Connect.the.dots"

This is the FB status of a local pastor friend of mine.

1.   Most problematically, it ignores the vast amount of death and destruction that can be laid at the feet of the Iranian leadership.

2.  It ignores the fact that Iran has had multiple opportunities to stop both it's pursuit of nuclear weapons as well as it's support for terrorists.

3.  It draws a false equivalence between one of the most evil humans on the planet, and someone who was (by all accounts) a decent human being.

4.  It ignores the fact that Walz has been spouting rhetoric which at least can be interpreted as a call to violence, as well as the recent string of ASPL violent incidents.

5.   It implies that Trump somehow instigated the shootings in MN.

6.  It assumes that the shooter was a Trump "follower".

7.  It's not like Biden and P-BO haven't engaged in military action that's killed enemy leaders.

8.   Is this really the kind of rhetoric you want from your pastor?

 https://www.kptv.com/2025/06/12/multnomah-co-man-gets-10-years-physical-abuse-death-his-baby-girl/

Call me crazy, but 10 years seems incredibly light for killing your own baby, unless the baby isn't born yet.   Then it's incredibly harsh.

True, or Not, it's an Interesting Thought

I have no idea whether or  not this is True.   It's one of those things that sounds True, and as someone who believes that YHWH designed our physical bodies it makes intuitive sense.   Scripture talks so much about "the heart" and it's importance to our entire being, that it's not far fetched to think that it's more than just a "meat pump".   Just like diminishing the brain to a "computer made of meat",  this might point toward something beyond our bodies being the result of random chance.

"WOW - FACEBOOK POST!!! They taught you the heart was just a glorified meat pump. That it squeezes and pushes blood like some crude mechanical device. A hydraulic engine made of flesh. That is what they want you to believe. Because if you buy into that primitive lie, you never ask deeper questions. But it is false. It has always been false. And the real science proves it. Dr Francisco Torrent-Guasp, a Spanish cardiac researcher, discovered what the textbooks refuse to acknowledge, that the heart is not a pump. He dissected thousands of hearts and found that the heart is a single continuous muscle band, folded into a spiral. He proved the heart works like a vortex generator, creating suction and torque, not pressure. He called it the Helical Ventricular Myocardial Band and it changes everything. The real movement of blood comes from pressure differentials, electromagnetic flow, and coherent resonance. The blood spirals naturally. It does not need to be forced through miles of arteries and capillaries. That idea is beyond stupid. The so-called pump is not strong enough to push thick fluid through 60,000 miles of tubing. That is basic physics. That lie was dead on arrival. Here is the truth. Blood moves before the heart forms in the embryo. It flows via frequency, resonance, and electric charge. The body is a field, not a factory. Your heart creates a toroidal electromagnetic field that radiates six metres from the body. This field syncs with the Earth, the Sun, and every living being around you. It is a resonator. A tuner. A conductor. It aligns the rhythm of your cells. It feels. It remembers. It emits. And it responds to emotion, thought, light, sound, and breath. When you feel love, grief, fear, or peace, your heart transmits it. It is the central frequency modulator of your biology. Not a fucking pump. And the institutions know this. The HeartMath Institute has measured these fields for decades. They know the heart has more neuronal cells than parts of the brain. They know it is a second brain. They know coherence in the heart transforms the entire nervous system. So why are they still teaching children a 400-year-old guess from William Harvey that has never been updated? Because if you knew the truth, you would never accept statins or beta blockers again. You would understand that trauma, emotion, and disconnection break the heart field, not cholesterol. You would stop obeying the medical cartel and start tuning your body like the intelligent frequency field it is. They do not want coherent humans. They want disrupted, inflamed, fragmented people who rely on drugs to survive. That is the business model. And the fake heart pump lie is central to it. Your heart is not a pressure valve. It is a vortex. A field tuner. A resonating gateway between physical and energetic worlds. It is the instrument of your soul. And it has been hijacked by science that refuses to evolve." Clearly Walz is a complete idiot who's coronation as VP because they thought he'd appeal to men has been a disaster.   That the ASPL isn't going to say a word about his incendiary language, especially in the context of one of his appointees seeming to follow his suggestion, says so much about the current state of leftism.

"Hate to admit it, but he has a point. If you simply just ignore the assassination attempt on Trump, the other assassination attempt on Trump, the shooting at the GOP baseball game, the crazed leftwinger who tried to kill Governor Shapiro, the guy who tried to kill Kavanaugh, the widespread glorification of Luigi Mangione, all the nutcases setting Tesla stores on fire, the guy who firebombed Jews, and all the violent rioters... ...then this really isn't a "both sides" issue and you can just blame all political violence on the right and Trump. Simple."

 1.   Given that fact that voting is reserved for citizens only by the constitution, on what possible grounds could this judge make this ruling?

2.  Thank goodness, as it will hopefully allow SCOTUS to reinforce the constitutionally protected prohibition on non citizens voting.

3.  Beyond the constitutional prohibition, voting requirements are a state prerogative, not federal.

4.  This notion that low level federal judges miraculously have this massive amount of power over an entire branch of government is insane.

Why is this nut getting paid almost $600,000 to run a teachers union allegedly dedicated to educating our children as their first priority?   It's shocking to see one more union leader who's making huge money on the backs of those who actually do the work.

Tragedy (Updated)(updated)x4

We had two lawmakers and their wives shot today, and others threatened.   From what I've seen locally this morning the response has been directed at protecting lawmakers on both sides of the aisle, and on finding the assailant.   So far, no motive and no information has been found and released.

I'm sure that some will jump to conclusions, but I'm imploring people not to do so.

This is a horrible tragedy, and I look for the perpetrator to be found and arrested as soon as possible.

I hope that the timing of this doesn't diminish the police available to investigate this horrible crime because of the significant amount of resources required for the big protest.   Hopefully this won't rile the protesters up any more that the already are.

Three relevant pieces of information are being reported.

It’s being reported that the alleged shooter had “No Kings” literature in his car, along with a manifesto.  It's also being reported that the alleged shooter worked for a security company which gave him access to a police type uniform as well as a police like car.  Finally it's being reported that the alleged shooter has pro Gaza/Hamas ties.

It’s being reported that the two reps shot had voted against funding health care for illegal aliens.  Further reporting is drawing a link between this and the shootings.

The shooter was an appointee of Gov Walz, as well as of governor Dayton (both DFL) and the shooter's wife was an intern for Walz.

Despite being asked not to show up at the protest, people have chosen to do so anyway   I sincerely hope this doesn’t impede the search

They caught the guy last night, but so far have refused to release the "manifesto".   Given the high profile of this case, one wonders why not.

There is speculation that he was unhappy because his ONG lost USAID funding, or because the MN budget didn't have funding for illegal alien healthcare.

Regardless of what the MSM tells you, MN does not have a provision for party preference when registering to vote.

"You aren't going to like this post, but it needs to be said about Vance Bolter. At first, I assumed Vance Boelter was just another grifter in the NGO/activist space. He built a fake resume, floated around volunteer gigs, and set up shell organizations for clout. His "Red Lion Group" has no real paper trail. His side business in "security services" looks like a cash grab. But the more I dug, the more different it looks. Boelter was a 7/11 manager, but constantly promoted himself as a corporate executive. He claims the title "Dr." based on a Ed.D. in Leadership. He chased every opportunity to get in front of an audience: volunteering for Governor Walz's "Workforce Development" initiatives, speaking at conferences, anything to be seen as a leader. And in videos of him in African churches, you see him light up. He's performing. He's preaching vague, positive platitudes to foreign audiences. He wanted to be somebody. He wanted to be followed. There's good reason to believe that

is right... he was remodeling that building below into a church. Not to serve Jesus, but as a stage for an audience that would never come. I think he is a man addicted to attention and status, who tried to get it through a lot of means. And when that attention dried up (possibly whoever cut him off his funding in Congo), he snapped. I believe Vance Boelter committed violence as a last, desperate attempt to be glorified: under the delusion that killing abortion rights activists would make him a martyr or hero. This is not Christianity. I watched his sermons. They were designed to provoke emotional applause, not spiritual conviction. His actions contradict the standard Jesus gave us to recognize false prophets: "By their fruits you will know them." – Matthew 7:15–20 Boelter bore no good fruit. Just narcissism, manipulation, and ultimately violence. He wasn't an evangelical or MAGA. He was a man who couldn't stand being ordinary."

I saw this elsewhere, and it seemed like a reasonable summary with what we know so far.

He's been charged with 2 counts of 2nd degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.   It's likely that this is just enough to get the process started and that additional charges will be added later.  Apparently they need a grand jury indictment for 1st degree murder, which I expect will be coming soon as well.    My guess is that they'll have no trouble proving premeditation.

Sounds like he's been charged by the feds as well.

This clip from the press conference by the federal prosecutor which makes it sound like LE was there and didn't act while he murdered two people isn't a good look.
