As the fallout from this drug raid has persisted, it is fascinating how many professed Christians have committed themselves to perpetuating a false narrative about the events in question. That people who consider themselves to be "godly" would so willingly continue to spout lies is concerning.
Except that it's not anything that we aren't used to. Lies are bad when their enemies tell them, lies are fine when they tell them.
We had an interesting situation in CO last week. An illegal alien, who intentionally violated his immigration status, engaged in a blatantly antisemitic attack on a Jewish family, using Molotov Cocktails and had a "flamethrower" in his possession as well. This follows the cold blooded murder of two Israeli embassy staffers in DC a couple of weeks ago. (I'm not linking to news stories because anyone who's ignorant of these attacks and the motivation is simply too uninformed to be taken seriously)
What I find interesting about the response to these attacks is the lack of outrage from the ASPL. These two perpetrators can only be described as left of center, pro Palestine (an ASPL cause), violent, and antisemitic. Yet I have yet to see any of the left wing bloggers, or the left wing opinion media respond with the level of outrage as they would have and have when they can identify a perpetrator as "right wing". Even in cases where the "right wing" connection is found to be wrong (Nashville school shooter, I truck attacker, etc) the "retractions" are rarely particularly prominent.
On a related note. The MSPL in MPLS decided to "protest" what is being reported as a significant drug arrest in South MPLS yesterday. During this "protest" they physically intervened and engaged in what appears to be both assault and battery against federal law enforcement officers. Y'all on the left must be really proud of your commitment to "protest" drug arrests. Given the stranglehold the DFL has on the "justice system" in MPLS it is highly unlikely that this obstruction of justice will result in any repercussions from the city or state. Leaving the only hope for justice in the hands of the federal government. Yes, when the "protesters" engaged in violent/forceful physical contact with LEO engaged in their duties, the LEO "pushed" them away to prevent further interference. Judging by the video, it seems that the LEO response was reasonable, measured, and appropriate. Of course arrest would have been more appropriate.
I guess we could see the pro drug "protesters" admit that they were wrong/stupid/blinded by partisanship and apologize. Of course we could also see them doubling down on their actions.

This story just gets better and better. The Sheriff stated publicly that the raid in question was NOT in immigration enforcement raid, but part of a large investigation of a "trans national" criminal enterprise (drug cartel). She also blamed the "protests" and violence on multiple elected officials who went public with false information, and on the lemmings (my word, not hers) that blindly believed the bullshit.
My social media was full of posts from friends criticizing the raid, based on the bullshit. So far I haven't seen any of them retract, delete, or correct their content. I wonder why.
In case you're interested, the elected officials who sparked this violent "protest", DFL.
FYI, in case you don't watch the video, the sheriff is a black woman in Hennepin country, the hances of her being liberal are incredibly high.

The interesting thing about this incident is that a Colorado political gave this as an example of why we need more gun control.
Given that CO is officially a shit hole state that has embraced insanity, it's not surprising. What is surprising is that they didn't call for banning gas, bottles, or rags.
