I comply with the fascists, with the abusers, with the oppressors, with the Nazis. I make it easy for them. I don’t make waves. I am bland and no threat to their oppression and abuse and do not stop them from abusing the oppressed and killing others.
Sometimes, you need to be more like Jesus, get the whips out, mess up their tidy oppression and overturn tables.
Local rapist gets his sentence cut roughly in half, and this is what has Dan’s parties in a wad. A liberal protester who doesn’t protest the exact way Dan thinks he should protest.
I suspect that the guy in the video has probably been at more protests than Dan and probably taken more risks than Dan. But he should absolutely take Dan’s demands seriously.
Much like your ridiculous pedophile comment from the other night.
Well, that IS the problem, isn't it.
Here you have the most overtly perverse, sexually predatory president EVER in US history...
a man with multiple confessions of his sexually predatory, rapey nature,
a man with multiple ties to actual pedophiles and sexual abusers of girls and a history of making sexually perverse comments about children in his past and as a matter of public record,
a man who ran on the conspiracy theory of a great deviant group of pedophiles in Democrats and in the gov't at large who, when confronted with ACTUAL pedophiles (friends of his, mind you) ran against them... UNTIL he was elected and THEN, he starts calling the Epstein files a conspiracy theory and trying to block release of documents about these pedophiles THEREBY DEFENDING actual pedophiles, sexual predators of children and abusers of women...
You have THAT deviant who has been publicly clear about his deviancy regarding sexual abuse of women and children...
And YOU (and those like you) fail to see the relevance!
What does it take to open your eyes? Must he sexually abuse YOU personally before his deviancy is finally seen by you?!
Likewise, the Gospels and the teachings of Jesus are abundantly clear that Jesus was ultimately crucified thanks to a conspiracy of powerful religious "leaders" who were outraged by his acts like the attack on the temple (the chasing out of those moneychangers ripping off the poor and marginalized) and his words and actions in defense of the poor and marginalized as opposed to his attacks on the religious abusers of the poor and marginalized...
And YOU fail to see the relevance.
Forget this is me pointing out this to you. Just open your eyes and look at the stories and situations in question.
May God remove the blinders so that you no longer "fail to see."
I know that I've promised you that I will allow you a great degree of freedom in your comments here, and that I will abort your comments only if you refuse to follow clear and repeated requests, but this comment really has me questioning the grace I show you.
The number of unproven, defamatory, false or slanderous statements in this comment give me pause the more I reflect on it.
Yet you have the temerity to bitch that I don't see the relevance regarding your vague and ridiculous question about reading the Gospels.
That you eisegete the Gospels to pretend that Jesus was crucified because He broke a few religious rules while ignoring what the Gospels and Jesus Himself say about His death. That you focus on His death (as a political revolutionary) while ignoring His resurrection, speaks volumes about your eisegesis of the Gospels. The fact that the Gospel accounts are clear why Jesus cleansed the Temple, while you dismiss what is recorded in favor of your fiction isn't a good indication that you should be taken seriously.
The problem you seem to have is not that I don't "see", it's that I "see" things you'd rather not spend time on. I see Trump as a deeply flawed person, who ran against another deeply flawed person, who is implementing political policies that I find more in line with my own. I've not, nor will I even, cast Trump as some moral exemplar. Yet, much like YHWH used deeply flawed individuals to fulfill His plans and purposes in scripture, we are left with the reality that any politician is deeply flawed to some degree or another.
This isn't some big moral stance on your part, given your support of both Hillary, Biden, and Harris it's not like morals play a huge role in who your support.
What I find interesting in all of this sound and fury is that you (and the ASPL) said the same kinds of things about Bush, Romney, Carson, and others who are far more decent and moral than Trump. This is political partisanship cosplaying as moral superiority. You act as if Trump's actions from decades ago are heinous and evil, yet you don't seem to work up the same level of anger at your VP candidate and the harm he's allowed/facilitated/inflicted on the very "poor and marginalized" you claim to care about.
The video embedded in this Tweet is a story from the local NBC affiliate in MSP. Clearly, by your arbitrary definition, an NBC affiliate would be considered an acceptable source. What we have is a tragic story of the Walz administration's failure to police massive (tens of billions of dollars) fraud in multiple areas of social services which went on for long periods of time. We're seeing the evidence that the Walz administration knew about the fraud and likely covered it up.
You bitch and moan because Trump said unsavory things to women over the legal age of consent several decades ago (and had a civil judgement against him after the law was changed specifically to allow this one civil suit in which the plaintiff could not remember even the most basic details of the alleged encounter), while the "poor and marginalized" are thrown out of their housing due to the fraud perpetrated by immigrants.
It's inconsistencies like this that raise questions about your vaunted moral reasoning abilities. Your obsession with bad things in the long past, while you stay silent on things happening in the present, is concerning.
That you cling to conspiracy theories and lie about things doesn't help you.
By all means though, how about you stay on topic and criticize the guy who (apparently) actually takes risks you don't.
Yeah...it's a trip when a true pervert like Dan focuses on trying to convince us of the alleged perversion of Trump...perversions for which he has absolutely no evidence.
I've seen some TDS sufferers now say that the Trump team wiped clean from the Epstein files all references to Trump which might indict him as being a pervert like Dan so desperately needs him to be.
My problem with Dan's fantasies and exaggerations is that the reality of Trump is objectionable as it is, it doesn't need the exaggeration and BS.
Trump has plenty of moral baggage and has done plenty of things that many/most people find objectionable in the course of his life. He's not perfect. Of course neither were Clinton, Biden, or Harris. We were forced to choose between multiple individuals who are all deeply flawed in some way for a job which isn't a morality contest.
Having said that, Trump's behavior of late has been an improvement over Trump earlier in life. He's done a good job as president so far, obviously we hope he continues to do so.
But for Dan to make these things up, simply beggars comprehension. The Epstein files have, so far, exonerated Trump yet Dan thinks that the mere mention of the name Donald automatically makes Trump guilty.
Finally, let's not forget that Biden could have released these files during his presidency if there was damaging information about Trump. But he didn't. One wonders why...
I agree and have said so myself, but no longer. Trump's past is irrelevant unless evidence is brought forth making it relevant again. His work as president is unmatched by any Dem president in our lifetime for its benefits to all Americans.
What if all of us had sins from our past continually brought up against us, regardless of how we have changed in our lives? Dannyboy does exactly that. What about a famous Demokrat President--Kennedy: he had multiple sexual affairs while in office!!!!! FDR was also known to "play around" sexually. Demokrats are KNOWN WELL for sexual dalliances and yet Danny only bitches about Trump, proving his rank hypocrisy.
Everyone's past is relevant, yet also filtered through their present. We can't totally ignore Trump's past, but we can acknowledge that he has changed. Is he perfect, no. Does he act as I would like, also no. Is his conduct in office in keeping with the standards set by previous presidents, yes.
Dan's insistence on treating Trump's past differently from how he treats others pasts is one more example if his commitment to living a double standard.
As noted elsewhere, FDR, Eisenhower, Kennedy (JFK and Ted), and Clinton all were less than moral when it came to their sex lives. Bill Clinton's rape accusations were much more credible than Trump's, while Clinton literally committed sexual harassment in the Oval Office. The list of Clinton scandals is long, and mostly uninvestigated. Likewise Biden has a long and documented history of all sorts of untoward behavior. P-BO only consorted with domestic terrorists and took their money, but that's nothing to worry about, right?
In short, Dan's treatment of Trump's past as if it's Trump's present, and his incessant lies make his faux outrage look stupider and stupider.

Yep, he hits the nail squarely on the head--bang!
I thought so. It’s unlikely that I agree with him on the issues, but I respect his commitment and ethic around protesting.
"I do not resist."

And get crucified.
Do you all even READ the Gospels?
Yes, I have. I fail to see the relevance.
Much like your ridiculous pedophile comment from the other night.
The level of stupidity that thus comment represents is truly impressive.
This notion that you get to pretend that this situation is equal to Jesus cleansing the Temple is nuts.
But I do understand that y’all want the freedom to break laws without unpleasant consequences. Because fighting with LE is always going to end well.
Says Dan from the safe and comfortable haven behind his keyboard.
Local rapist gets his sentence cut roughly in half, and this is what has Dan’s parties in a wad. A liberal protester who doesn’t protest the exact way Dan thinks he should protest.

Yes, I fail to see the relevance of your hysterical hand wringing over this post.
The “pedophile” reference was to your unproven claims from the other day.
You do realize that the Epstein documents haven’t provided the proof y’all desperately wanted and you just sound desperate.
But csn keep spewing your conspiracy theories and fantasies if it helps you.
You aren’t Jesus, and Jesus wasn’t the political revolutionary you desperately want Him to be. Your eisegesus is creative, but not much else.

I guess it's theoretically possible, but that's just adding a conspiracy theory on top of a conspiracy in order to maintain a false narrative.
I agree and have said so myself, but no longer. Trump's past is irrelevant unless evidence is brought forth making it relevant again. His work as president is unmatched by any Dem president in our lifetime for its benefits to all Americans.

Dan loves and supports homosexuality and abortion, too. Yet he dares disparage a guy for digging hot babes.
Good point. Except Dan likely believes that his history of sin is just a few minor sins. It’s tough being better than everyone else.
Everyone's past is relevant, yet also filtered through their present. We can't totally ignore Trump's past, but we can acknowledge that he has changed. Is he perfect, no. Does he act as I would like, also no. Is his conduct in office in keeping with the standards set by previous presidents, yes.
