My personal opinion is that I could care less who a business serves. If the business owner is willing to face the consequences in the market, why should I stop them.
I’m posting this more to point out the double standard on the left in America.
CFA, just makes food that a lot of people like, serves anyone who walks in the door, and the left acts like they are evil. But, complete silence when one of they’re own engages in pointless discrimination. The bakers sold all kinds of baked goods to gay people on a regular basis, but none of that matters. It’s all about having an excuse to attack people, while feeling self righteous.
It's the one-way fascism of the left. Do it their way or else, whether it's their business or yours. It's nice that they publicize their foolishness, so that we can avoid patronizing their businesses. Like the idiots they are, they are actually helping the cause of the free market...to their own detriment.
I feel compelled to point out, that my problem isn’t the fact that Sanders was discriminated against. It’s the hypocrisy of the left who rush to find excuses for discrimination against those they hate.
Indeed. While I might disagree with the criteria upon which a merchant refuses his products or services, true liberty means that decision is his alone.
I feel compelled to point out that Sanders is not suing anyone, managed to express herself without vitriol or expletives, isn’t organizing protests or suing anyone.
Meanwhile the left continues to make excuses for discrimination and bullying.
It's how they roll. They're now trying to bully ICE into dissolving. They aren't concerned with the opinions of their opponents, but only that their opponents capitulate. Worse, they aren't concerned with trying to defend their positions, explaining why they might be the moral positions, the superior positions, the logical positions. Just agree or there will be hell to pay.
As we've just seen from any number of incidents recently, the left is adopting all sorts of public violence, harassment, bullying, shaming, intolerance and irrational behaviors to go after those they disagree with. We see the microcosm right here on this blog.
I might find it interesting what perverse and twisted perspectives he would put forth as truth, reason, logic...whatever...once he's addressed the burning question from which he's run like a coward from answering. Until then, he can post whatever he wants at his blog. I'm not the least bit interested. No doubt I've heard it all before. The truly demented part is how easy it should be for a bright boy like him to understand and comply with the simple terms his own boorish behavior brought down upon him. I don't expect him to be able to handle anything difficult or tricky.
I just think it’s interesting that he finally has a blog, that he’s come out of hiding,( except for the fake name), and that he’s simply going after us.
I don't much care about his nom de plume. I know of a better man who uses one for rational reasons. The funny part is that he thinks dismissing him is "whining". I don't know what part of "I don't care what you have to say if it isn't complying with the long-standing request" this self-style genius doesn't get. This comment is too much response as it is. He's not deserving of attention until he complies. That's my position. I'll say not another word that acknowledges he even exists until he complies. I'll be monitoring the blog post where he's required to lodge whatever for him passes as a plan.

I suspected the cake issue might come up, and will simply say that SCOTUS found that the issue was NOT refusal to serve people.

It’s interesting how some people think hiding behind a false name and two blog posts means they have courage or some such foolishness.
