That's an excellent quote! And most definitely, it is truth denied by those who prefer to believe what they do is not or no longer sinful simply because they want to do it. "Murdering people can't be wrong if being a murderer is how God made me. It's my truth." It works for any behavior God has prohibited. Said another way, there is no behavior God has prohibited that can be rationalized away in the manner the quote describes.

It seems to come back to whether or not we accept our feelings or God’s commands.
