It seems that the mayor of Chicago appointed a “census cowboy” who felt it appropriate to mistreat a horse so badly that it needed to be put down.
1. It’ll be interesting to see if the mainstream/progressive folks can shut the animal rights folks up.
2. This’ll likely generate more outrage (among some) than the black humans shot or aborted this week.
3. Lightfoot is clearly an idiot who needs to go.

Seems the "cowboy" believed the stress placed on his horse was worth it, and there's something wrong with any who finds fault with him for it given his noble intentions. By "noble" I intend no snark, as a quick and superficial look at his "cause" suggests a desire to help kids in need. I just don't see why harming his animal was at all necessary.
As to Mayor Lightweight praising tge dude...well... it's Mayor Lightweight, so...
And the political left is either silent or supportive.
