I've often stated that I find the entirety of Gaza (and the West Bank) to be every bit as vile as Hamas and the sundry other varieties of violent, militant murderers willing to do anything to eradicate Jews. While I believe the law of probability guarantees there exists those among them who do not wish to annihilate all Jews and Christians, one would be hard pressed to find them in that sliver of the region. Perhaps it's too risky for them, in which case, it's as if they don't exist at all.
But worse than them and just as bad as the actual murderers launching attacks on Israel are the abject morons who protest, rally and publicly support "palestine". They're obviously all modern progressives who aren't self-identified "palestinians" (a fake ID), who thrill to see the suffering and death inflicted upon Jews.
There was a poll released recently that showed 90% support for Hamas and it's recent actions. I have to hand it to the Muslim powers. They've masterfully created this underclass and radicalized them as a tool to move Islam forward, yet still retain deniability.
Had the Arab states that invaded Israel and caused these people to leave (caused/bribed) simply absorbed the refugees that they created back in 1948, we wouldn't have groups like Hamas to deal with. In theory anyway.
It's likely that the Arab world would have invented various terrorist groups at some point, because they need them to maintain credibility with the faithful in the struggle of Islam over everyone else, yet they also need to maintain commercial relationships with the rest of the world (all the various Satans) to fund their lavish lifestyles. Therefore they need proxies and these groups fill that need, and are willing to kill themselves for the cause.
I can't help but agree given the tenets of the "faith" they follow. Jew hatred is part and parcel of it and they can't totally reject the hatred without inviting harm upon themselves. I would expect that at best, they have no regard one way or the other for Jews (and non-muslims), but as you more than imply, they do want their stuff and they must appear to be ambivalent at best about whether Jews have a right to exist and exist on land which has been Israel's for thousands of years.
The Quran tells Muslims to respect Christians and Jews as "People of the Book", yet the history of Islam is conquest and oppression of people of all faiths. Historically, they wouldn't kill the Jews. They would tax them to the point that they would have to leave. But that's how tolerance works in the religion of peace.
I've read many times that what appears in the beginning of their "holy book" is trumped by what comes later.
Historically, they killed Jews almost from the jump. Two different groups of Jews were slaughtered by Muhammed's boys, heads chopped off and all that. It's always been their thing. Three choices were always given: convert, pay the jizma (sp) or die.
I'm pretty sure that the Quran is not organized chronologically, but the part of it that were written later do abrogate the parts written earlier.
Muslims have never had a problem killing those who won't convert, although in some places they simply taxed Jews out of their territory. Might as well milk the infidels for as much cash as you can before they leave, right?
