EVMLTT.   The UK is literally being destroyed by misguided politicians and insane immigration policy compounded by a separate/unequal justice system for immigrants.   The US has always held E Pluribus Unum as our ideal.   The problem with the UK, Europe, and many in the US is the desire to forgo the second half of that ideal.    As we see Islamic cities, where Sharia law is enforced, non Muslims discriminated against, and Mosque and State in full force and parts of European cities where Islam is the de facto ruler and police are prevented from entering, I think we can conclude that  the notion of Muslim immigrants assimilating is a fantasy.

Well, after months of being told that the Pacific Palisades fire was the direct result of "climate change", we magically see someone arrested for arson in starting the fire.  Meanwhile,  the residents who's homes were destroyed are still mired in bullshit despite assurances from city and state leaders that the rebuilding process would be fast tracked.  How in the hell does CA expect to keep the people who they tax the shit out of to stay when they are complicit in the destruction and failing to expedite the reconstruction?   How much property tax revenue is simply disappearing because the properties have minimal value as of right now.  The only value those properties have is as residential home lots, and if the city won't allow reconstruction, they have little or no current value.

 This goes along with my earlier post about the quality of education, the power of teacher's unions, and the education establishment.    It also, likely, goes along with the book Glenn recommended.   How about recognizing that what is critical is providing students with an education that allows them to actually function in society, be employable, and peacefully coexist?
