One of my friends recently posted this to Facebook.
"Congratulations to Maria Corina Machado on winning the Nobel Peace Prize. Well done, committee, on recognizing the moment and showing the world what we need: "Keeps the flame of democracy burning amidst a growing darkness."
What is interesting is that fact that Maria has been quite candid about the role that trump played in her receiving this award. Yet the poster would argue that the "growing darkness" is Trump. The irony here is pretty incredible, for someone with such a severe case of TDS. I'm a little surprised that this post is still up to be honest.

For these people, they could be directly aided by Trump in ways that are literally life saving for them and would still blame him for what he resolved. I remember an episode of "The Jeffersons" when George gave CPR to a racist who upon recovering insisted he would rather have died than to have been saved by a black man. This is the attitude of some TDS-sufferers, who ironically, while taking as gospel Trump's claim he would lose support if he shot a guy in the street, wouldn't give him any if they saved them after being shot in the street. Sad and pathetic.
It's like they lack the ability to see the fact that Trump has done anything good and believe that acknowledging the good things Trump does somehow harms them. Virtually every president of either party has done things that I can agree are good. I can acknowledge the good, without magically supporting everything else they do.
The fact that this idiot doesn't realize that he's literally supporting the work of someone who he clearly hates, is freaking hilarious.
It's this kind of thing that makes me want burner social media accounts.
Ooh! Burner accounts! I like that! (I'd probably abuse them!)
I would to. But the ability to say what I want would be fun for a while.
