Mamdani Stuff

This is simply insane, and shows absolutely zero knowledge of Jesus' actual teachings.

He is what is known as "the modern 'progressive'", about whom Dan so lovingly speaks.

What is hilarious is that, given his ties to extremist Muslim groups like the Muslim Brotherhood, he is the complete opposite of a progressive. His progressivism is likely Taqiyya rather than any actual conviction.

While I believe (in general) that any governmental entity can withstand one term of a horrible executive, I suspect that Mamdani has the potential to do incalculable damage to NYC if elected.

I'm not a huge fan of NYC, but I'm not sure that seeing it further damaged is a benefit to the US.

Ya know...I had for most of my life a strong desire to visit NYC, spend a week or so there and experience what may have been only romantic myth about the place. Now, not so much.

I've never had much desire to visit NYC at all. The revolution era history sites might be interesting, but I'm not sure haw many are still around.

I've had a couple of friends who've done some Broadway shows, and the only reason I'd willingly go to NYC was to see one of them. I'm not a huge fan of big cities, so NYC doesn't have much appeal. I've enjoyed Chicago, and DC has enough history to make it worth going. I'd like to visit Boston and Philly for the historic stuff but haven't so far.
