Yes, it seems to be True that Hamas is going through Gaza and randomly killing people for who knows what, and they seem to be trying to re brand themselves as the Gaza Security Force. The ASPL will absolutely believe that the GSF and Hamas are two completely different things.

This probably deserves it's own post, but I'll leave it here. The amount of care that the IDF took to minimize civilian casualties in Gaza is freaking historic. Definitely not a genocide.

Suffice it to say that anyone who regards Israel as the aggressor, oppressor, "colonizer", unlawful occupier or any of that crap in reference to the situation in Gaza are abject liars and/or incredibly stupid people who's opinions aren't worth squat. They should be roundly mocked for the useful idiots they are.
It's one thing to be ignorant of ancient history. It's another to be ignorant of recent history. That anyone could possibly take seriously the narrative of Israel as "colonizer" or oppressor, while ignoring the fact that virtually every single Muslim majority nation in existence was actually colonized, is simply choosing stupidity. You could maybe argue that Saudi was not invaded, subjugated, and colonized by Islam but that's pretty much it. Let alone the fact that Islam thinks that the fact that the colonized Spain for a while somehow means that returning it to it's rightful owners means that the Spanish colonized Spain. It's not like Islam hasn't been trying to colonize Europe for hundreds of years.
I think calling them "useful" is a stretch.
The real problem is that no one studies history, especially in public schools. When the LEFT does address history they revise it to promote their ideology.
Ignoring/revising, whatever they need to do in order to uphold their worldview regardless of how accurate they are. Hamas has been quite public about how they consider the global left to be useful idiots in their quest to destroy Israel, and the global left just keeps right on doing exactly what Hamas wants them to do.
