Let's think about this for a second. We know that Hamas and the US refuse or limit Israel in directly providing aid in Gaza. We also know that Hamas has murdered Gazans who've taken aid that's come from Israel. We also know that within the first month or two of the war in Gaza, that Israel didn't have anyone physically in Gaza.
Yet, somehow there was already a seemingly robust exchange of "sexual favors" for food and medicine. There is seemingly no way to argue that the perpetrators of this rape for food scandal were Jews, yet I suspect that'll be a narrative.
The simple reality is that y'all who support Hamas, support this and bear some indirect responsibility for it. Had the Global Left not immediately come out in support of Hamas and chosen NOT to demand the immediate release of hostages, it's likely that this war would have been finished months ago. Likewise, had Hamas, simply done the correct, right, just, and moral thing (released and not tortured/killed the hostages) we wouldn't be hearing about this story. However, given the regard for women in Muslim countries, it seems safe to conclude that these women would have been subjected to some sort of abuse in exchange for things they needed. It just wouldn't have made the news, because none of the Global Left seems to give a shit when Muslim men abuse women.

I'm not sure that "heroes" is the correct term.
It seems like the Global Left is always looking for a new "oppressed" group to champion, and Muslims are the current favorite. The obvious problem is that, historically and on a global scale, Muslims are oppressors/conquerors as opposed to being oppressed. The Global Left therefore has to ignore both history and reality to push the oppressed Muslim narrative, ignoring the reality that Muslims strongly oppose almost everything that the Global Left holds dear.
