What if?

In addition to the Wuhan virus news, I've seen more and more stories that indicate that there is increasing evidence that homosexuality and gender identity are not the fixed, unchangeable things we've been told for years.

I'll start posting links to the various studies at some point, but for now.

What if the narrative about homosexuality and being "born this way" and being unable to change is wrong?

Virtually all of the political and social changes around this issue have been built on the assumption that homosexuality just is, and that trying to change is wrong and harmful.

What if we've made decades of policy on information that's wrong?

I doubt that any pro-homosexual policies considered seriously the possibility that it is not immutable. I don't think they cared one way or the other. It's always been about redefining morality, and biology has nothing to do with that. Immutability was always asserted and assumed, never proven.

I don't know. The slogan has always been some version of "born this way", and they get apoplectic if anyone suggests the possibility that it's possible to "convert", (Despite the evidence of people who have.)

The entire agenda falls apart if it's proven to not be immutable. If this is true then they'd lose their protected class status, they lose the ability to argue that it's like race, and it undercuts the "rights" bs.

Now I agree, that the ultimate outworking, as we're seeing with pedophilia and polygamy, is to normalize virtually any sexual act or combination.

Of course it's never been proven, it's simply asserted often and loudly enough that it's assumed to be true. But, as I said. What if data, and evidence prove them wrong?

Then those like myself will be doing the happy dance as science finally caught up to the obvious.

However, I have the feeling that such knowledge won't lead to any reversal of policy or civil law. There's be years of trying to debunk the proof as fraudulent in order to protect the "right" to indulge whatever one's desires and urges compel. But perhaps, it will then result in many choosing not to fight against it, and instead look for true psychological help in dealing with their urges, as there will be fewer who buy in to the agenda. Therapies will reappear without the lies from those that are currently opposing them. Many will learn to deal with, if not overcome, all manner of immoral and disordered feelings and desires and the world will be better for it.
