A quick one

This'll be quick.    As most of us have probably seen the IDF discovered what con only be described as a terrorist subway in Gaza.  This tunnel was one of, if not the, most extensive and expensive tunnel found to date, and took terrorists very near to a border crossing into Israel.

The question that should be going through everyone's mind is why isn't Hamas spending the money it invests in terrorism infrastructure on the "innocent" people of Gaza?   You know, the ones they rule.

In other news, American liberals don't seem to be very upset by the fact that Egypt has a border wall to separate Egypt from Gaza.  As has been noted, Egypt is the only Muslim/Arab nation that actually borders Gaza, yet Egypt seems determined to keep it's coreligionists in an open air prison.   Again one wonders why this fact gets so little attention.   Strangely enough, it seems that Israel (the evil oppressors) have seven border crossings with Gaza, while Egypt only has two.   But tell me again how Egypt doesn't bear any responsibility for conditions in Gaza and Israel bears 100% of the responsibility?   Or at least why Egypt never gets mentioned when it comes to keeping the residents of Gaza "imprisoned"?

Simple: because THE JOOOOOOOZZZ!!!

It's obvious anti-semitism and nothing more complex than that. It's how those areas referred to as "Gaza" and "the West Bank" are in the hands of muslim extremists intending to destroy Israe utterly.

Obviously, there is a narrative throughout the MSM and APL that is designed to paint Israel negatively no matter what, while simultaneously ignoring what is going on in Muslim majority nations that is significantly worse.

It doesn't help that we have the idiots who think that the folks in Gaza are going to congratulate the "trans" community for supporting them.

Art,

It's amazing to me that the left has so little negative to say about the government of Gaza and the West Bank, and how they treat those they govern. The fact that their concern for those in Gaza only extends to what they perceive Israel is doing, while ignoring the acts of Hamas prior to 10/7. Obviously this ignoring extends to much of what happens in the Islamic world. Millions of Muslims displaced by other Muslims, yawn. LGBTQXYZPDQ folks being publicly whipped, yawn. Video of a 13 year old girl forced to marry a 29 year old, yawn.

But talk about YHWH commanding Israel to wipe out the Amalekites thousands of years ago, and they'll get all worked up. Mention US slavery from 150 years ago, and they'll get worked up.

I can't imagine a situation where I'd get more upset about something that happened centuries ago, than about what's happening right now.

I know, I know, they do get upset about what's happening now, they just don't say much about it.

And it's not just the islamic world. They have less to say about harm in our own country as a result of the policies of those they support! They deflect from all that in the same manner...by attempting to redirect attention to that which has no relevance.

Again, it's all about holding others to a standard that they don't hold themselves to. Dan does it here all the time. It's regularly about ignoring the harm caused by those the APL has common cause with, while bitching about anyone they suspect of being "right wing" regardless of where people actually stand.
