Interesting, in progressive christianity it is considered a badge of honor to deconstruct one's faith, even if that means abandoning one's faith all together.
In Islam, they take a different position on those who have the temerity to leave the religion of peace.

I'm sure he can. I'm also sure he's already given some sort of vague, bland, milquetoast "condemnation" of this sort of things so he doesn't have to address this specific situation. I'm also sure, he'd tell us that "real Muslims" don't think this way. Despite the reality that any country with Sharia law criminalizes converting from Islam to any other religion. But Islam doesn't teach that sort of intolerance, I'm sure Dan knows all about it.
