FYI, there are multiple US states with an age of consent of 16, and I've seen stories about lowering that to 15 in some places. So it's not even those darn foreigners, it's us too.

What in the hell would prompt 10 men to gang rape a 13-14 year old over an extended period of time? In what culture, clan, family, or tribe, is this even a thing to be considered? Did none of them think for a second that maybe raping a 13-14 year old girl if frowned upon in the UK? Did no one advise caution or restraint?
If one looks at the massive increase in violence in Europe, specifically sexual violence, there is a clear and undeniable common thread that runs through the vast majority of the perpetrators. But just like researchers in the US are prevented from doing studies about IQ in different "races", the common thread of sexual violence in Europe can't be spoken of.

Well, Mo did marry a 9 year old so there is that. Although the numbers aren't huge, I'd bet that fundamentalist Mormons probably skew towards young wives as well.
The question with the Muslims is how much of this is driven by Islam, and how much of it is driven by tribal/national culture. Clearly they are getting encouragement from Islamic clerics, yet we don't see this kind of behavior from Saudis, Turks, Emeratis, Singaporeans, etc. I think that some groups have used Islamic texts as an excuse to justify things that are more cultural/tribal than "religious". I'm not dismissing the Quranic texts, but it does seem to be focused more in certain nationalities.
