I've seen this misleading graphic in several places and have three issues about how it is presented.
1. There have been more deportations from TX than any other state, yet the map doesn't seem to indicate that.
2. The darker areas are literally the "sanctuary" jurisdictions which are refusing to cooperate with ICE as has been done for decades. Is it shocking that those areas would have more ICE activity based on the fact that ICE gets no cooperation? It sounds like it takes two ICE agents to take custody of someone in a jail, as opposed to 16 when they need to find them in the wild. Shocking.
3. It clearly shows the decrease in activity at the border.
