So, Ilhan accuses Trump of protecting pedophiles, when we now know that Trump actually turned Epstein in, yet the "age of consent" in Somalia is 15, and 45% of Somali girls are married before age 18.

I cannot find any actual information about specific punishments for pedophiles in Somalia, but given how other Muslim countries treat pedophiles, I suspect that they are not harshly punished.  

Strangely enough, The UK actually does protect large numbers of pedophiles, and Omar doesn't seem bothered by that at all.  

Thanks to the ASPL, "pedophile" is quickly becoming one of the terms that means everything and nothing at the same time.  Much like "racist", any of the "phobe" terms, and "fascist" the term is so overused as to rob it of any significant meaning.   Also, the push from academia to rebrand pedophilia to MAP and to normalize it as simply one more "Sexual orientation" also removes much of the effectiveness from this attack.  

Finally, much like body cams, the Epstein files haven't proven to be the gold mine of anti Trump material that the ASPL hoped.
