I’m assuming you remember the “choose the bear” idiocy, correct?
This is referencing the NYC official that is trying to eradicate dogs (as house pets) in NYC because Muslims consider dogs Haram.
“Finally, NYC is coming to Islam. Dogs definitely have a place in society, just not as indoor pets. Like we've said all along, they are unclean.”
So, if I were forced to choose, I’d choose dogs.
I did hear that nonsense, but it didn't come to mind. Thus, how the reference related to the feminist crap was totally lost on me. Makes more sense now, thanks. And yes, I would choose dogs over muslims, too.
There is an element in my comparison which highlights the potential stupidity in such broad and definitive statements. In both cases it's applying a general sentiment to a class of people, rather than judging people by "the content of their character".
There's also a degree of snark as well.
