So, Dan's got his panties in a wad about this "Board of Peace" and is convinced that it will be more corrupt then the ONGs in MN and the MN state government. Which would be quite a feat.
Strangely enough, I don't recall him getting nearly this panty wadded when the Clintons ad their cronies fleeced billions, and left Haiti worse than when they came.
FWIW, I don't see much difference in principle between this and how the US dealt with Germany, Italy, and Japan after WW2. We spend vast sums of money to rebuild the countries of the aggressors as well as their economies as well as offered them US military protection.
But somehow this plan to rebuild Gaza for the aggressor is the most corrupt, evil, plan ever.
Honestly, I'm ambivalent at best about the whole thing. The likely outcome is millions of dollars given to a terrorist organization who will spend most of it on preparations to destroy Israel.
We've god 10's of millions in fraud in MN alone, GA acknowledging voter fraud, MN state officials engaged in bribery and insurrection, NYC is imploding, and we're waiting for fraud numbers from the rest of the blue states, and this is what has Dan's panties in a twist. Because Dan has been pretty consistent in ignoring problems that aren't directly in the US.
Priorities.

Well, useful idiots and willing marks rarely wake up to notice the sizeable difference between the actual cons and oppressions that they support and other, dissimilar circumstances that went before, do they?
How about this: Did Harry Truman create, on a whim and completely outside of Congressional approval a Big Official Peace Plan?
Did he, apart from Congress, pledge to spend $10 billion on it?
Did he, on his own, appoint HIMSELF as the sole decider on how the money would be spent?
Did he have a LONG record of business and professional corruption, ripping off students, charities and stealing money to pay off porn stars to cover up an affair?
Did he recruit all the bad guys to also donate additional billions to this fund that, again, would be managed by HIM?
Did he name it, as your deviant regularly does on everything, after himself, as he believes that branding is a way to enrich himself?
Did he appoint family members and loyalists to be on the board where, again, HE would be the sole decider?
Come on. You can't possibly be this daft, this ignorant of what's happening right in front of you?
How about this: Since the Felon hasn't said where the BILLIONS of dollars is coming from and since Congress hasn't approved it, why don't you push to have ONLY useful magates give of their own money for this obvious con.
You can't possibly be this gullible.
Coming from a useful idiot who probably still believes the Hamas propaganda that’s insulting. That you didn’t read what I wrote is simply not surprising.
But I appreciate your effort to ignore actual fraud directly linked to the DFL, to get your panties wadded over potential, hypothetical fraud that might happen.
What’s strange is that I literally didn’t defend the program beyond pointing out the obvious, that the US has a history of rebuilding other countries after a war.
My opinion is that this will end up rearming Hamas and not benefit the people of Gaza in any meaningful way, Anything that gets built is likely to be used as infrastructure for terrorism and will be destroyed the next time Hamas engages in an unprovoked attack against Israel.
The fact the the wealthy Arab nations don’t want any part of this disaster should be a sign. Until Hamas disarms, and holds free/fair elections, Gaza should get bopkkess from anyone.
I’m just pointing out your selective hypocrisy in getting all het up about theoretical fraud, while barely acknowledging the real fraud happening right here and now, not halfway around the world where you have no interest.
I love when Dan embraces grace. Given how much money Congress has sent to other countries to fund true deviancy (LGBTQ initiatives and abortion) and other initiatives outside their Constitutional authority, I'm not so worried about a lack of approval from that body, and truly, neither is Dan. It's just another grace embracing opportunity to demonize Trump in a most unChristian, hateful manner...which isn't surprising from Dan who only postures as a Christian.
I certainly agree with Craig that giving a single penny of American money to the likes of the Gazans is to piss it away on a most ungrateful and untrustworthy people. I continue to insist that these people should vacate Israeli territory it has unjustly appropriated (including the "West Bank") and return to their true ancestral homelands, whether those homelands want them back or not.
It’s bizarre. Trump is trying to throw millions of dollars into rebuilding Gaza because Hamas apparently can’t have nice things, knowing that there’s a good chance that Hamas will screw up again, which would be wasted money. And somehow Dan is opposed to rebuilding Gaza and giving money to Hamas. But only because Trump…
He didn’t complain when P-BO blew up an American family with a drone without consulting congress. But helping the poor and oppressed, continue under the oppression of Hamas needs congress.
Again, he doesn’t bitch about stupid foreign aid, but this horrifies him. (I wonder if the possibility of success is what scares him)
The inconsistency is stunning.
FYI, just found out about the next wave of MN fraud. Ghost students enrolling at the U, and stealing their student loan proceeds.
But that won’t get any more outrage than any of the rest of the fraud.
If you combine the price tag from the Summer of Love, the other riots, and the fraud, we’re probably pushing $50 billion, wasted or stolen. The taxpayers take it in the shorts, and those who would have benefited get screwed. But Trump is the problem.
Contrary to reality, Craig ranted...
who probably still believes the Hamas propaganda that’s insulting. That you didn’t read what I wrote is simply not surprising.
I recognize the Hamas rhetoric just as I recognize the maga rhetoric. They're both often over-the-top and sometimes only loosely based in reality. That's why, in the case of Hamas, one needs to fact check their claims with multiple sources. Same for maga world, but frankly, they're both not reliable sources. Period. Full stop.
I appreciate your effort to ignore actual fraud directly linked to the DFL
Stupidly false, all around. That there are some outliers in Minneapolis WHO ARE BEING INVESTIGATED thanks to the Democrats and WILL be held accountable is not the flex you think it is. It's not a Democrat con.
The same can't be said about this felon you keep defending, no matter HOW overtly corrupt and outside the law he demonstrates himself to be.
The point remains, even while you cowardly run from answering questions:
No. No responsible leader appoints himself and his cronies as overseers of tens of billions of dollars.
You can run from reality but you can't hide.
Dan
You read, but fail to understand...
Trump is trying to throw millions of dollars into rebuilding Gaza because Hamas apparently can’t have nice things,
IF it were the case that this felon and his rogue gang of villains were ACTUALLY trustworthy and actually trying to help Gaza, that would be great.
But only a fool hands money and power over to a bunch of wealthy fascists and thinks something good will come of it.
The question remains: how gullible ARE you?
Dan
Come on. Just LOOK at the details (from Wikipedia, but it's just reporting what has been said...)
The charter of the BoP outlines a multi-level structure for the organization, which includes:
Donald Trump, designated as chairman for life. The board proper, mainly comprising national leaders. About sixty were invited by Trump. The Board of Peace Executive Board, with a focus on diplomacy and investment.
Seven members were appointed by Trump.
The Gaza Executive Board, to direct the NCAG. Its head, Nikolay Mladenov, who was appointed to the board alongside ten others, is titled the High Representative for Gaza.
Chairman
Trump is explicitly named in the BoP's charter as its chairman. He is not subject to term limits and holds the sole authority to nominate his designated successor.
According to the charter, as the chairman, he is exclusively authorized to invite countries to join the BoP. In that capacity, he also has the exclusive authority to create, modify, or dissolve subsidiary entities of the board. All revisions to the charter, as well as administrative directives issued by the BoP, are
subject to his approval.
Trump's chairmanship is independent of his presidency of the United States, and
he has indicated that he wants to remain chairman for life.
Again, you can't possibly be so incredibly stupid as to see how rife with corruption this is.
Come on. Tell me that if a Democrat president just declared himself Czar of Relgion - outside his role as president and with sole authority on deciding things - and he "gave" himself responsibility for managing ten billion dollars that he "gave" this board from the taxpayer without congressionalapproval! ... tell me you recognize how fascist and corrupt that is!
Open your eyes. You're being used by a corrupt, inept idiot.
Dan
As I looked into this "Board of Peace" thing, I'm left wondering about quite a bit myself. One of the few things which gives me paused is Trump's intentions. His 5+ years as POTUS have convinced me his intentions are positive and meant to do good in the world. His methods might make one go "Hmmm", but he gets results he seeks. As far as being president or top dog on the BoP, I've no reason to believe good results will continue far more often than not. That's what one who actually and objectively looks at performance and track record concludes. Dan doesn't do that. Dan needs to believe Trump is as evil as Dan himself is, and/or as those Dan supports and defends are. Thieves fear others stealing from them. Liars fear others being dishonest with them.
One of the negatives reported is how the initial purpose of the BoP has morphed into something a bit different, with "Gaza", "Hamas" and "Israel" not mentioned must anymore...even though there is a "committee" (for lack of a better, more accurate word) to oversee aid to Gaza for the needs of the people who, in my opinion and due to their history, are undeserving. Talk about grace!
Not to equate him with God, but Trump also works in mysterious ways and this could be one of them. But despite what lying haters like Dan think or pretend, I see Trump as deserving of the benefit of doubt. Let's see how it plays out.
Dan,
Perhaps you missed the part where I quite clearly said that I wasn’t a fan of the BOP. Maybe you just didn’t bother to read, maybe you were confused, or maybe you simply decided that you knew better that I.
Between you idiotically wasting time based on your misconceptions about my view of the BOP, you clearly are unaware of how Wikipedia works.
You also seem confused about the difference between potential, theoretical, corruption and actual corruption. That you continue to ignore actual corruption and fraud to focus on theoretical corruption demonstrates that it’s not corruption that bothers you as much as who committs the corruption.
Look, if you’re going to ignore what’s actually happening in favor of your partisan narrative, I can’t help you.
When the governor and AG are part of the corruption, yet you think that they’ll magically fix is is partisan blindness. So far the legislature is actively working against fixing the governmental structures that allowed this massive fraud, and most of the prosecutions have been federal. The AG is on tape agreeing to help those responsible for the fraud, who coincidentally donated money to his campaign.
This “outliers” BS is just one more of your little magical terms that you believe excuse everything.
The point remains that you turn a blind eye to DFL corruption and fraud, while obsessing about theoretical, potential fraud.
So, are you now agreeing that the Hanas casualty numbers were false in terms of the number of noncombatant casualties and that Hamas was using hospitals as military facilities?
Or do you still believe the propaganda you repeated fir months?
Not nearly as gullible as you apparently.
Maybe if you spent more time reading, paying attention to what you read, and not jumping to wild assumptions, you’d avoid looking like a fool.
Unlike Dan, I’m somewhat open minded about things that Trump does, even those that I think sound stupid or pointless.
My initial read on this stands, until I see actual evidence to the contrary.
I see no reason to assume that this’ll be an abject failure or a stunning success.
So, I’ll wait for results.
I will say that any process that leaves Hamas in charge of Gaza and allowed to rearm is a failure. To reward Hamas for 10/7, and two years of war crimes is simply not something I can support. It’s bad enough that there doesn’t seem to be any push for the international community to punish Hamas for their documented war crimes. It’s worse that Dan bitched about Israel yet is ignoring Hamas.
Speaking of reading to understand, it’s not a good look when you respond to a post without actually interacting with the point of the post.
Maybe that’s where the disconnect happens. I post on Dan’s inconsistent response to things based on who engages in whatever behavior has his psnties in a wad, and Dan goes off into a rant about something that barely exists and hasn’t actually done anything yet based on his prejudices, biases, and partisanship. But is happy to make excuses for ignoring real, massive, fraud linked directly to the political petty he supports and political policies he supports.
It’s almost like he doesn’t care about the poor and oppressed MN residents who were denied aid that they qualified for, are losing services that they qualified for, and who are being made homeless due to the fraud enabled by the MN DFL and an immigrant community. Screw the taxpayers, screw the poor and oppressed, because Dan has his panties in a wad about something that may not even happen.
So... the answer is YES, you all ARE criminally gullible and naive as hell WHEN it comes to your felon. But even IF you're that gullible and stupid, think about the precedent. Do you REALLY want the next Democrat president to on his own,
just create a new panel over some important topic,
appoint THEMSELVES in charge of it
- FOR LIFE! -
appoint family members and loyal supporters as their main advisors
for THEM to be the final vote on matters in this made-up panel
AND to take $10 billion in taxpayer money to pay for their vanity project?
AND ALL of that, if that Democrat president had a known history and convictions associated with corruption??
Precisely because I'm NOT gullible as a lump of shit, I would oppose that, regardless of party.
Y'all can't possibly be this dumb.
As to your nonsense comparisons of possible Minnesota misdeeds or the Clintons, THERE'S NOTHING TO SAY. Democrats and rational adults oppose ANY abuse of money. So, go ahead, ASK me if I'm concerned about potential misuse of funds IF it was done by Democrats in Minnesota? YES, of course, I am. AND, the people of Minnesota and the Democrats of Minnesota are, as well. THAT is why it's being investigated and any who are guilty will be held accountable.
Duh.
Of course. When you ask stupid questions with obvious answers, the answer will always be the obvious answer. Don't be obtuse. Don't be an ignorant partisan hack.
The difference between that and this is: OF COURSE, we want abusers of funds or women or children held accountable. AND IF a Democrat were to just take $10 billion from the taxpayers and establish themselves as the czar to manage those funds independently and with vague to no oversight, WE OPPOSE it.
You clearly don’t understand the meaning of the word criminal/criminally, but that doesn’t stop you.
In a world where a community of immigrants stole over 10 billion taxpayer dollars and literally harmed the poor and oppressed, your anger about this seems misplaced. But that’s the point of the post. You’re obsessed with something that literally hasn’t happened, and could possibly be good or neutral, while not working up a fraction of this anger at actual fraud committed by actual DFL officials, voters, and supporters.
I live in a world where I try not to project my monomaniacal obsession with my political enemies into hypothetical future/potential actions.
That you are ignorant of presidents appointing supporters and family members to positions in their administration, is concerning.
The Biden administration spent billions on EV charging stations and built a small number of them. P-BO wasted billions of taxpayer dollars on various green energy companies that failed.
That you object to a program that is ostensibly intended to rebuild Gaza after Hamas ensured its destruction, based on your hatred of Trump seems to indicate that you’re willing to accept additional suffering in Gaza because you hate Trump.
Yet somehow you expect me to magically infer from your silence on various real frauds that you oppose them.
Thank you for so brilliantly making my point for me. You illustrated your selective outrage perfectly.
Given your demonstrated ignorance of the MN fraud, I simply can’t take you seriously. The acceptance of bribes by Ellison, and the lack of institutional oversight by Walz are the problem and the reason why the MN DFL is not investigating the fraud.
The MN DFzl just voted down a bill that would have strengthened the prevention of more fraud.
Personally, I’d suggest that you just stop commenting on this thread. I don’t need any more evidence that my premise was correct, and you’re just digging yourself a deeper hole.
But doing the smart thing has never been your strong suit, has it?
re: Your Keith Ellison gossip ("the acceptance of bribes"), as far as I can tell, that is an UNSUPPORTED AND UNPROVEN ALLEGATION, not a fact. That you are willing to trade in gossip and slander as if it WERE a fact does not speak well of the gossips and slanderers, "who are not part of the realm of God" according to some holy texts.
Yes, I DO expect you to know my position on things like this and it truly doesn't take magic. It simply takes a brain.
I have repeatedly and consistently said that I am opposed to corruption, the abuse of children, the harming of innocents, oppression, etc, etc - REGARDLESS of party - and given the known data (Dan is consistently opposed to corruption, etc), then the ONLY possible conclusion to the question of "Is Dan opposed to any corruption in Minneapolis, whether from Democrats or Republicans?" is, Yes, of course.
That is the advantage to being morally consistent. As oft noted: I voted against Clinton just because of the possibility of abusive actions towards women. You, on the other hand, have embraced and voted for the Felon in spite of MUCH more evidence of abuse of women AND children, including his own testimony. I've been quite clear that I won't vote for any overtly, openly corrupt individual. You have done just that with this actual, literal felon and man found guilty of cheating students and in his charities to enrich himself... a man who has been abundantly clear that he is the definition of a narcissistic hedonist - the man with gold toilets, elevators... gold everything... the man who puts his name on everything, even when it's not his to name.
And finally, in this conversation, I've been clear that I would oppose a Democrat who used his/her office to establish a slush fund that he was in charge of "for life..." with a gang of autocrats/authoritarians on the board, with his own cronies as his closest advisors, and do so using billions of US taxpayer dollars with no apparent oversight... etc, etc. And EVEN THAT, you can't draw a hard red line.
It doesn't take magic to recognize where a morally and rationally consistent person draws the line. And that I DO draw such lines only points to your partisan hypocrisy all that much more.
https://mn.gov/dhs/program-integrity/factcheck/
There is literally videotape of Ellison Promising to help the very people responsible for the feeding, our future fraud, and election contribution records of those same people donating large sums of money to his campaign. But sure, whatever, it’s all just one big coincidence.
If you do expect me to know your position on things, does this mean you will stop bitching about Me not knowing it?
The simple fact is is that the only way I have to accurately draw conclusions about your opinions on things is what you write about them publicly. When you write absolutely nothing about actual fraud likely to be over $30 billion yet go ballistic over this board of peace thing that hasn’t even really happened yet. It allows me to draw conclusions about your priorities. As they say, actions speak, louder than words. In this case and many others, your actions speak much louder than your belated words.
Again, I do want to thank you most profusely for validating the actual point of the post.
Because an FAQ page by the very government and administration that has been in power and failed to catch any of this fraud before it got massive is somehow supposed to be objective proof of anything? I get it, you lazy google something until you find the first link that you think makes your point and present it as if it is unquestioned fact. I’ve posted many local news stories, from the local network affiliates, which seemed to disagree with you.
But it’s OK, you’re way more focused on some random Trump thing designed to potentially help Hamas and those they oppress, then you are about actual US taxpayers and citizens being defrauded. The reason I reached this conclusion, is because of your silence on the issue. I know what you say, when you are confronted by something like this, and I watch what you do and say when you are not prompted by someone else. What’s funny about all of this, is it all you need to do is be evoke publicly vocal about this stuff. It’s not that hard, hell you could even lie about it. Nobody would really know. But you’ve got the old panties in a tight wad because of some hypothetical theoretical maybe might happen someday conspiracy theory.
Given your unwavering support of the UN, you can imagine my surprise when I learned that the board of peace is founded under a UN charter.
Craig:
In a world where a community of immigrants stole over 10 billion taxpayer dollars and literally harmed the poor and oppressed, your anger about this seems misplaced.
According to that bastion of liberal ghoulishness, The Heritage Foundation reports that the scam by SOME immigrants came to $250 million - a HUGE amount. But not "$10 billion" stole by "a community of immigrants."
Many Somali defendants created shell companies and fake distribution sites to claim $250 million in federal child nutrition fund reimbursements for millions of nonexistent meals.
https://www.heritage.org/welfare/commentary/somali-welfare-fraud-minnesota-has-cost-american-taxpayers-billions
They also said:
Broader probes now suggest total losses across 14 state welfare programs
MAY
exceed $9 billion, meaning half of all billed funds
MAY
be fraudulent.
Now, in an effort to help you improve your reading comprehension, those two "MAYS" mean that they don't have proof of that and there's no proven record to support that claim. It's a guess, a hunch, an unproven suggestion, NOT a given fact.
Now, in another effort to help your reading comprehension:
TO the degree that some bad actors in Minnesota ripped off the gov't for millions of dollars, that's terrible. AND the officials (including Democrats) in Minnesota are looking into it, as a matter of known factual record.
AND, to the degree that your president IS actually a felon convicted of corruption
AND with a life-long history of corrupt acts designed to enrich himself
HE, who is openly hedonistic for his whole life
that he has, ON HIS OWN, made up this "Board of 'Peace'"
staffed with his cronies and loyalists
and a group of authoritarian leaders
and he will try to take ten ACTUAL billion dollars from the US taxpayers
right in front of your noses, rubbing it in
and HE, that convicted corrupt felon will be the decider on how that money is spent
HE, who has a record of using land deals to enrich himself and his family,...
...to the degree that ALL of that is observably factual, (and it is) one would have to be a fool or a felon to think this is a good scenario.
The difference then is, to the degree that frauds were perpetrated in MN by some, I am opposed to it AND opposed to this non-transparent, vague money grab by a bunch of ultra-wealthy authoritarians who are placing themselves above scrutiny.
You, on the other hand, are only opposed when it's allegedly a Democrat and/or an immigrant doing the misdeeds.
But thanks for repeatedly making it clear: You are as gullible as a brick of shit. And a useful idiot to openly authoritarian, ultra-wealthy hedonists.
Just stop. You're embarrassing yourself.
Oh, and I will note that it's obvious that you can't even bring yourself to admit that IF it were a Democrat doing this, you'd shit your pants. Your hypocrisy is showing.
It's rather humorous to see Dan to make every effort to project onto Trump all manner of evil for what appears to rational, honest and actually Christian people to be at worst, a misguided attempt to make a real positive impact on the world. While he disparages us for our support of Trump...in my case, speaking for myself specifically, due to his track record of beneficial performance as president...Dan continues to support the people and party who have by their policies, actions and inaction brought upon the nation so much harm and suffering. In states where they continue to rule, suffering is ongoing, mitigated to some extent due to the great work of ICE despite the obstruction of justice on the part of those Dan falsely portrays as peaceful or innocent protesters.
So Dan's question is absurdly stupid. I don't want Dems in charge at all. Period. They've done enough harm to the nation. And while Dan assumes Trump is acting in a nefarious manner with self-serving intent, that's SOP for Dan's kind.
At present, I've still not found an explanation for how Trump intends to procure $10 billion for this BoP, or even if Trump means to get it from the national coffers as opposed to raising the money privately. Imagine how easy the latter should be given how much Dan's kind grieves over the suffering of the people who don't even have a claim to the Gaza Strip!
Indeed, the MN situation is a great example of the real con artists and grifters being Dems. Nick Shirley has, I believe, found similar in at least one other state, also Dem controlled.
The larger point is Dan's silence in the face of actual, ongoing abuses by his kind in favor of presuming nasty business will ensue through any action taken or proposed by Trump. And always he will respond when called out that OF COURSE his kind opposes what his kind is doing...yet it continues and so does his support for them.
"That you are willing to trade in gossip and slander as if it WERE a fact does not speak well of the gossips and slanderers, "who are not part of the realm of God" according to some holy texts."
This coming from the guy who perpetuates gossip and slander about his president as if it WERE a fact, demonstrating he is among those not part of the realm of God (which isn't a news flash at all).
"You, on the other hand, have embraced and voted for the Felon in spite of MUCH more evidence of abuse of women AND children, including his own testimony."
This is false, has been proven to be false and yet Dan, not being of the realm of God, continues spreading this gossip and slander.
I alluded to that charter and how some are complaining the game plan for the BoP has drifted a bit from it. What I find more amusing is how some look at the BoP as a threat to the UN and all the wonderful things it's accomplished these day. Not an illegitimate fear given the UN's poor record on human rights.
I’m still skeptical of the whole thing, but I compare it with the abomination that the French helped Hamas write, and maybe it won’t be horrible.
I just deleted a long and much more detailed response to your comment, and don’t have time to re-create it right now.
I will note that the $250 million figure you mentioned is from one of at least five fraudulent schemes that have primarily come from the Somali community in Minnesota and that most of the estimates for the total are between 30 and $50 billion. I’ll note that I’ve posted new stories from both the local newspaper and the local network affiliates as well as local independent journalist many times over the last few months.
As far as your unhinged, monomaniacal, ranting, and lies about me, maybe you should try actually reading what I wrote And paying attention to it for yourself. You make this crap up and pretend like you’re made up crap came from me and then you argue against it so that you can feel good about yourself. It makes you look like a pathetic coward and reinforces the actual point of this actual post which is how hypocritical you are when it comes to political wrongdoing.
Craig...
"You make this crap up and pretend like you’re made up crap came from me and then you argue against it"
As always, ANY time you can point to EVEN ONE "made up" claim, I'm glad to apologize for it.
So far, you're batting close to zero.
Empty claims are empty claims.
Dan
“You, on the other hand, are only opposed when it's allegedly a Democrat and/or an immigrant doing the misdeeds.”
You asked for one, and I hardly even had to look very far.
What you have demonstrated in this thread is that you don’t read much of what I post or comment. (You do you and you aren’t required to read anything.). Because if you’d read the stuff I’ve been posting for months, you’d know that crap like the above is made up garbage.
FWIW, any time you announce what I think, believe, say, or do without a specific quote you can assume that you’re wrong and delete the crap.
Now I’m battling 1.000. I suspect that the reason for your misplaced confidence is the hubris that leads you to conclude that you can’t possibly be wrong when you speak for me.
“You, on the other hand, are only opposed when it's allegedly a Democrat and/or an immigrant doing the misdeeds.”
By all means, POINT TO YOUR QUOTE WHERE YOU criticized the Felon and his cronies in this conversation. Even just one.
An actual strong criticism, not your vague, wishywashy "I am not thrilled..."
I'll wait.
Dan
I've criticized Trump for the BoP thing in this very thread. Art and I have lengthy exchanges where I've been critical of Trump.
I do love this little gambit. You tell a whopper about me, I point out that it's a whopper (and really who knows better than I whether I've been critical of non DFL folx) and throw in a combination goal post move and demand for proof when you refuse to provide proof of your claims.
You've repeatedly insisted that you are the authority on you, yet somehow won't give me the courtesy you demand from me.
As I noted you managed to Google one whole fraud case in MN, the Feeding Our Future case. You didn't dig deep enough to catch the rest.
EIDBI
HSS
ICS
Child Care Supports
Home Health Care
Health Care Transportation
Ghost Students, is the latest.
While we don't know the final score yet, it's well over $10 billion with estimates as high as $30-50 billion.
This doesn't include the massive exporting of US legal tender through MSP., likely the result of the fraud profits.
FYI, it looks like Feeding Our Future is up to $350 million.
I'll note how cavalier you are about the fact that a bunch of immigrants stole food aid from the poor and oppressed in MN which obviously caused some degree of harm to those who relied on that food aid.
I posted a link to a KARE 11 (NBC affiliate) story on a young autistic woman who is homeless because of this fraud, and believe I've posted links to local news coverage of Walz shutting down the autism program which has resulted in actual harm to actual autistic people.
The two "mays" are more likely an acknowledgement that the fraud in more extensive than the 9 billion they mentioned. The problem is that you are making unproven assumptions about the purpose of the "may"s.
I guess the fact that these "bad actors", very likely including government officials, stole billions from the US taxpayer isn't enough to get your panties wadded, let alone the harm that was inflicted on the poor and oppressed.
https://kstp.com/kstp-news/top-news/inspector-general-bill-stalls-in-minnesota-house-again/
Shocking to see the MN DFL failing to support strengthening the office that should be exposing fraud. It's also shocking that many of these frauds have been going on for around 10 years, during which time the DFL has had a stranglehold on MN government. But, please, talk about how they've finally gotten interested in this fraud after it came to public attention.
On a tangent, is there any way Walz would have been your VP candidate had this massive fraud been this well known during the election?
CITE THE QUOTE. All I see from you is "please sir, beat me again... just not so hard this time."
It's NOT a whopper. It's a fact, as evidenced by your weasel dodge and vague and unsupported accusation.
Once again, "I wish oh wish dear daddy didn't beat us so hard... I mean, I guess I deserve it and we all should just bow our heads in respect... I just sort of wish..." IS NOT A CRITICISM.
Cite the quote or be exposed as the actual liar and slanderer that you are demonstrating yourself to be.
Or, looking at your actual words:
I literally didn’t defend the program...
Perhaps you missed the part where I quite clearly said that I wasn’t a fan of the BOP. [oooh! tuff talk, big boy! -Dan]
even those that I think sound stupid or pointless.
"Complaints" like those are NOT criticisms... certainly not in the same vein as "the corrupt DFLSPLS" (or whatever initials you randomly use) or "at actual fraud committed by actual DFL officials, voters, and supporters." One is a pathetic beaten child trying to appease his tyrant daddy and the other, well, is the same, telling the same stupid ass lies his daddy likes to tell, hoping to curry favor that's never going to come.
CITE the criticism or be exposed as a liar.
Part of this is you all don't seem to even begin to comprehend the deep level of corruption in what he's doing.
IT IS NOT OKAY for a president to claim $10 billion of taxpayer money to use as he wishes in a position that is literally above the law, where he is literally the sole decider of how it will be used, where his allies are a bunch of other ultrarich authoritarians. THAT is the corrupt part: it's not okay, it's not normal, it's not acceptable.
You all don't seem to get that. It's like your daddy told you to pluck your eyes out and you did and just can't even SEE what's right in front of your face.
Once again: WOULD THIS BE OKAY WITH YOU IF IT WAS A DEMOCRAT?
Dodging the question only confirms your hypocrisy. Not even ACKNOWLEDGING the question (repeatedly) confirms your delusion.
Craig:
very likely including government officials, stole billions from the US taxpayer isn't enough to get your panties wadded
That I don't read all (or even most) of your rambling, vague, unsourced posts is only indicative that I simply don't trust your judgment. And this is an example, once again. IF IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED, it's wrong and I'm appalled. JUST as I'm appalled by the many corrupt practices and sexual assaults/harassment of your Felon kingling. And again: THAT is the difference between you and I: WHEN it's likely or proven to have happened, I'm opposed to it whoever did the acts. You, on the other hand, as we can see in this very thread, are mildly disapproving and unwilling to take a strong stand when it's your daddy doing the corruption, hedonism and sexual perversities.
"AND, to the degree that your president IS actually a felon convicted of corruption"
Actually he was convicted of a violation that has always been charged as a misdemeanor but was magically turned into multiple felonies for ONE action. Are you suggesting that convicting someone 34 times for one underlying act is justice in your twisted worldview?
"AND with a life-long history of corrupt acts designed to enrich himself"
When you make these vague, broad, general accusations, you just make yourself look like an idiot. The Apple guys (who y'all loved because they were leftists) stole their UI from Microsoft and made themselves billions. This is a great example of your hypocrisy. Back in the day I posted extensive news coverage of the extent of the Clinton Foundation/Haiti scam and you didn't get this worked up and you voted for Hillary. P-BO was best friends with literal domestic terrorists, and you didn't get this worked up. But sure, make some vague claims about one person while ignoring those on your side. (It's possible that you've made some token CYA comments on these examples, but the degree of vitriol and volume is not even close)
"HE, who is openly hedonistic for his whole life"
I'm sorry, is hedonism a crime? It is objectively wrong? Were not JFK and Ted hedonists? Is Jeff Bezos not a hedonist (with his yacht that has to be moored at cruise ports because it's too big for "normal" moorings)? Certainly Bill Clinton was a hedonist. Again, thanks for making my point.
"that he has, ON HIS OWN, made up this "Board of 'Peace'""
If by "ON HIS OWN" you mean under a UN charter , then sure.
"staffed with his cronies and loyalists"
Well, There's Tony Blair, Marco Rubio (the SECATATE), Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. As Rubio and Kushner have had roles negotiating various Middle East agreements, Blair was the PM of the UK, and Witkoff is already a Special Envoy to the Middle East, I hardly think that quailifies as "cronies" and of course every POTUS places people loyal to them in important positions. So far, this is just a big nothing burger.
"and a group of authoritarian leaders"
By "authoritarian leaders" you must really mean leaders of Muslim countries. Yet, you haven't objected to the UN making Iran the vice chair of a committee intended to push for equal rights, democracy, and LGBT issues. Is Iran not one of the most authoritarian regimes in the world, and did Iran not just kill off @40,000 protesters? FYI, Hamas is a Muslim terrorist group with strong financial backing in other "authoritarian" Muslim countries. Should those countries be excluded because they are too "authoritarian" for you? Final point, France just helped Hamas come up with a constitution that establishes an "authoritarian" regime in Gaza, which is still dedicated to eradicating Israel.
"and he will try to take ten ACTUAL billion dollars from the US taxpayers"
Holy crap, leaving aside the billions in fraud, are you seriously trying to pretend like P-BO and Biden didn't waste billions of things which you didn't get this upset about?
"right in front of your noses, rubbing it in"
If this works, and we and up with something resembling peace between Hamas and Israel and a framework that is better positioned to move more quickly in future conflicts and all it costs is 10 billion, that seems like a decent investment given some of the idiotic pork in that the US is paying for. If it doesn't work, at least someone tried? It's not like Biden accomplished anything in terms of peace in Gaza.
"and HE, that convicted corrupt felon will be the decider on how that money is spent"
Not based on what I've read, but by all means, prove your claim.
"HE, who has a record of using land deals to enrich himself and his family,..."
What, oh the horror, a real estate developer using real estate development to make money for himself, his company, and his family. What evil. Engaging in voluntary business dealings with others to the mutual benefit of both sides.
"...to the degree that ALL of that is observably factual, (and it is) one would have to be a fool or a felon to think this is a good scenario."
Some parts of this screed might be somewhat factual, while other parts are pure speculation. The problem is that the majority of these accusations aren't accusing him of anything illegal.
"The difference then is, to the degree that frauds were perpetrated in MN by some, I am opposed to it AND opposed to this non-transparent, vague money grab by a bunch of ultra-wealthy authoritarians who are placing themselves above scrutiny."
Give the fact that I've seen nothing from you about the billions in fraud primarily in blue states, until I kept encouraging you to acknowledge it, and the fact that the second part of this accusation hasn't been proven to be True, this isn't anything significant at all. It's just you demonstrating your double standard, and the premise of the post.
"You, on the other hand, are only opposed when it's allegedly a Democrat and/or an immigrant doing the misdeeds."
Well, this is a lie. But why would I expect that to stop you. More lies and slander are not surprising at all.
"But thanks for repeatedly making it clear: You are as gullible as a brick of shit. And a useful idiot to openly authoritarian, ultra-wealthy hedonists."
More slander, false claims, vitriol, ad ad hom attacks. If you think this is how grace works you are either more stupid or more evil than you think you are.
"Just stop. You're embarrassing yourself."
I'm not sure how I should be embarrassed by you making shit up and pretending that your made up shit represents anything I've actually said. You should probably be more embarrassed that anyone.
"Oh, and I will note that it's obvious that you can't even bring yourself to admit that IF it were a Democrat doing this, you'd shit your pants. Your hypocrisy is showing."
Again, simply one more false claim.
That you choose not to read the various news sources I provide isn't my fault. However, you can't have it both ways. You can't ignore months of links to news stories from local media, and bitch because I don't go back and spoon feed sources to you now.
The difference is that I don't have to make shit up like you do. Literally every single local media outlet (Strib, KARE 11, KSTP, WCCO, and KSTP, has shown the video of Ellison promising to help the Feeding Our Future fraudsters, and documented the quid pro quo of significant campaign donations immediately after the promise. Let along that some of these fraud rings had gone investigated for almost a decade while Ellison was AG.
This increasingly angry, desperate, graceless, vitriolic, cacophony of lies, slander, ad hom attacks, and just general bullshit seems to indicate a level of desperation I've not seen from you before. But it also indicates that the premise of the post was pretty accurate.
Because you've chosen gracelessness, childishness, stupidity and making unproven claims, I'll answer your idiotic question.
"Once again: WOULD THIS BE OKAY WITH YOU IF IT WAS A DEMOCRAT?"
If it was a DFL POTUS, I would be just as skeptical as I currently am. Part of my problem is that the research I've done doesn't align with your hysterical screeching, so I'm left to figure out if Time and Reuters are more trustworthy than you. That you've misrepresented the financial end of this doesn't bode well for your unproven claims about the rest of this BoP.
You calling me delusional is really a serious pot/kettle situation.
FYI, this magical $10 billion has to be appropriated by congress you moron. The rest of the countries are expected to contribute financially as well. From what I've seen this notion of Trump having unilateral discretionary authority seems to not align with Time and Reuters to name two real sources of journalism.
This graceless nonsense is so far beyond your normal level of gracelessness I cannot begin to understand it.
You make a false claim without even the hint of an attempt to prove the accuracy of your claim.
I point out that I have a much better grip on what I've said than you do, especially as you have been exceedingly clear that you don't read everything I post.
You make up more false, unproven claims, and then demand that I "prove" that your initial unproven false claim is actually false.
The incredible amount of arrogance and hubris necessary for you to make demands for a standard of behavior that you don't hold yourself to is astounding.
That my criticism isn't phrased with the vitriol, false accusations, and gracelessness that yours isn't the flex you seem to think it is.
Screw you, you prove your claims before you make demands of me.
Any further comments pressing this idiocy will be aborted if you fail to prove your claim. I give you plenty of grace, allow plenty of lies, slander, and ad hom attacks, but my grace isn't unlimited.
My blog, my rules. Prove your claims, apologize, or give up on the idiotic line of attack.
you choose not to read the various news sources I provide isn't my fault.
Because it's all about you? Because, like your narcissist, you think everyone should hang on every word of your barely literate, non-journalistic, anti-expert X posts?
Your arrogance is undoing you.
Dan
Dan, in a graceless act of apparent desperation chooses having his comment aborted filled with unproven claims and nonsense.
The notion that you get a free pass on proving your false claims, yet get to make demands that I (again using an argument you’ve used) need more than a simple declaration regarding what I’ve said.
I get it. You can’t simply disagree with someone on political policy or morality. You feel some base need to let your hatred and lack of self control flow freely in some warped, graceless, vitriolic vomit. Truth, accuracy, proof, are all cast by the wayside when ole Dan gets his dander up and his panties wadded. I understand that you get some kind of weird, “righteous” dopamine hit or some warm tingly feeling when you go full anger like this. But that doesn’t absolve you of the need to hold yourself to the standard you demand of others.
I’m serious, if you keep this graceless garbage up, more aborted comments. I’m done with your faux moral superiority and performative nonsense.
No, in fact it’s all about you and your desperate need to exert control. If you have to lie, slander or bully to attempt to control a conversation you’ll do it without thinking.
I’ve addressed your idiotic “X” excuse so many times I’m forced to conclude that you’ve simply chosen to believe your own lies rather than find out for yourself.
For the few (non opinion examples) where I cite X, there is nothing stopping you from doing your own research and proving me wrong. But you choose not to, I suspect either laziness or fear, but hubris and arrogance could play a role.
The fact that you summarily dismiss non X or official MSM X accounts with the sane lazy excuse demonstrates that the excuse isn’t to be taken seriously. That your too stupid, ignorant, or lazy to understand that “real journalists” do “real reporting” on all social media platforms and pretend that the platform magically invalidates the information speaks volumes about your commitment to a narrative.
No, it’s not about me. It’s about the Trutj. The Truth is that I’ve provided ample sources of information and reporting on these topics. You are free to ignore it all, you don’t even need the stupid excuses. But for you to pretend that I haven’t provided what I’ve provided based on the fact that you ignore, dismiss, or don’t read, isn’t my fault or problem. If you don’t want to check things out, just say that. Don’t go through these absurd excuses, lies, and misrepresentations, just acknowledge that you choose not to look and stop lying.
Your petulant, childish routine is getting old. Especially given how much you’ve chosen to ignore.
Again, you’ve proven my point regarding your selective outrage and inconsistency, maybe it’s time to slink away and try again on another post.
As always, I’ll post almost every stupid comment you make (with the current exception), and allow you to dig the hole as deep as you want.
I’ll simply note that I’ll gladly post more news stories about the Walz administration facilitating and protecting the perpetrators of the fraud, once you peruse what I’ve posted already.
I am as well. We'll see.
To be embarrassed requires believing as Dan believes while supporting what Dan opposes. But Dan's a pervert who wallows in slander and hatred. So if there's anything about which would would or should be embarrassed, it's by showing actual grace to one such as Dan by allowing his comments only to again endure the routine slander and hatred of this fake Christian. It's the cross we carry for striving to practice what we preach. Praise God for the opportunity.
Dan loves the fact that Trump was falsely convicted of a made felonies so he can further express his grace embracing by referring to his president as a felon. Lying is clearly second nature to Dan.
I don't recall any serious criticisms by Dan for any Dem policy, action or behavior. Indeed, he's heaped praise on Obama, Biden, Harris while ignoring their many negatives. So until he has the testicles, honesty and intelligence to accurately speak on their failures, he has absolutely no room to demand that we criticize Trump more than we have. It is as you've said, Craig. Dan's whine is that we don't hate like he does.
It seems that for Dan any spending by Trump is misappropriation and waste. Pretty freakin' hilarious coming from someone who supports the wasteful spending of his kind. I guess he thinks its OK when others of his kind in Congress approve of Democrat wasteful spending. "Yeah! Let's send tax dollars to foreign countries so they can spend it on abortion and sexual perversion!"
Even by Dan's reckoning of this BoP situation, it's highly unlikely good won't come of it, as Trump's record as president has proven good results are most probable. Again, it's just Dan expressing his special brand of "embrace hate".
That's it. But imagine getting a dopamine hit by supporting the perversions Dan embraces so warmly! But shouldn't such a person be able to easily list examples of the harm done by someone he hates so much because the man he hates has been so bad for us? I don't recall that ever happening. It's just the usual "he's a con man!" crap. A true con leaves the victim actually victimized in a tangible way. Dan doesn't provide. He just embraces hate.
I agree that it seems graceless and un christian to project the most negative and evil motivations on someone, for something that could very well be motivated by wanting to help.
It's possible that this could be a well meaning failure, yet Dan refuses to acknowledge that possibility.
As Dan even acknowledges, what is happening in MN is also happening in other (mostly) blue states. Yet he cannot bring himself to acknowledge that the government has played a role in this ongoing fraud.
Dan's use of slander and lies, while bitching about them seems contrary to any reasonable reading of Scripture.
Yes we will. I'll note that Dan's silence on the Hamas/France constitution seems to indicate that he's ignorant or supports it. We may never know.
I just posted an analysis of Trump's conviction. The conviction served it's purpose though. I allows lemmings like Dan to spout the "felon" label without considering the damage to our legal system that political prosecutions invite.
I can't help but thnkl that Dan would oppose Trump prosecuting the DFL 2028 candidate on a BS charge. I also can't help but think that Dan agrees with Susan Rice in her recent screed threatening persecution of political enemies as soon as the DFL resumes control.
He makes unprovable claims about his opposition to Clinton, and has made some milquetoast, after the fact, "criticisms" of P-BO and Biden on some issues. Coming late and weak to criticizing your guys is how Dan rolls.
Unfettered DFL spending=good, any GOP spending=bad, any attempt of the GOP to control spending=bad.
Go full Mamdani and spend like a drunken sailor, while raising taxes on everyone.
You'd think he'd be able to list many examples of all sorts of things, but not so much.
